Blue Devil

Nick woke up to the feeling of being held from his back, someone was laying on his wings and holding his waist tightly, his first thought was that Felicia was back and she had snuck into the bed at night.

Nick moved his hand to grab hers but when he touched the place where he was being held his hand just landed on himself, passing straight through what he felt was holding him.

"Huh?" Nick exclaimed surprised, he sat up and turned to what he felt was holding him.

There was nothing there, which surprised Nick but he then remembered that Death can only be seen with his third eye, so he quickly closed his eyes and opened his third one.

The red vein's spread from the vertical slit in the middle of his forehead and a piercing red and black eye ball looked around the room, landing on the space beside him.

A dark, shadow like energy formed a beautiful woman that looked at Nick longingly, she was wearing nothing but a see-through black bra and lace p.a.n.t.i.e.s, her hair was pure white, long and full, "Good morning Darling." Death smiled at Nick.

"Hey babe, when did you sneak in?" Nick asked Death as he rubbed some of the tiredness from his eyes.

"A little bit after you fell asleep, I didn't want to wake you as you looked so tired and I then couldn't resist slipping into bed with you." Death emitted with a slight blush.

"Hahaha that's alright, it's actually pretty cute. Come on, let's hop into the shower." Nick smirked as he grabbed Death and carried her in a bridal carry towards the shower.

Death yelped at Nick suddenly grabbing her but then giggled at Nick's antic's.

...

"Hey, is Nick back?" Felicia asked Jennifer after she came into the living room.

"Oh, I had thought he would've called or gone to see you, but I guess he was too tired after coming back home, he passed out not soon after he said goodnight to me." Jennifer told Felicia happily as she drank her coffee on the living room sofa, with her feet up on the back of a sleeping Ghost.

"Alright thanks, I'm going to go up and see him." Felicia said before walking up the stairs to Nicks room.

...

"What can I do? I just can't leave the underworld with our someone to watch thinks." Death asked Nick as the layed in bed together, just after getting out of the shower.

"I could may be help you split your mind into another body so it can stay in the underworld watching things and if there's any trouble your copy could tell you through your link and I can teleport us back. How does that sound?" Nick proposed.

"But then I would feel bad for the me that was not getting to be with you." Death pouted cutely as she knew that Nick was weak to her like that.

"They're both you and so you should share memories." Nick said.

Death nodded at this, she was about to ask Nick something but a voice suddenly came from the door.

"Nick there you are, what have you been doing the last couple days?" Felicia asked Nick as soon as she walked into his room, ignoring the flame on top of his head, soon after that she ran and jumped right on top of his bed, passing right through Death as she did and then snuggling up against Nick.

She was just to happy to see him after so look and so she ignored the strangeness around him, like the Eternal Flame and the cold feeling she got when she jumped into the place next to Nick.

"Is this the woman you talked about before? Felicia?" Death asked Nick as she half glared at Felicia and half looked at her with concern, if she tried to take Nick away from her in the future.

Nick hugged Felicia closer as he looked to Death, 'I need to catch her up on what had happened recently, can you wait for a bit?' Nick asked Death telepathically.

Death just nodded her head and went around to Nicks other side and held onto him again and started to wait patiently for Nick to finish speaking to his other lover.

Nick turned back to Felicia and said, "I had to go deal with the god of thunder, he was throwing a tantrum so his father banished him to earth, and then I ..."

...

"Are you sure your ok? You did die yesterday." Felicia asked Nick concerned, not even questioning him for a second, she loved him too much for that.

"Yes, I'm completely fine, the Eternal Flame did it's job well, but that's not what I really wanted to talk to you about... your probably going to hate me for this and then leave after slapping me in the face, which I will totally understand when you do, but I don't want to keep secrets from you, it's annoying and I always feel guilty when I can't tell you my biggest one incase it mess with fate and the future be seen as I have definitely screwed it all up already I could probably tell you-" Nick started to ramble, but he got cut off by Felicia before he could continue.

"Wait! Your not making much sense now... what do you want to tell me, the one that would make me hate you, the other one can be left for later." Felicia stopped Nick and then asked him seriously, entwining her fingers with his as she did.

"Right... well, when I died I was in the underworld for quite awhile so I flied around to see if I could find anything that wasn't dead, and I happened to spot a floating island with a greek style house-"

"Your rambling again, get to it!" Felicia shouted at Nick.

"Sorry, really dreading the slap."

Felicia rolled her eyes at that and said, "Hurry up, your making me worry over here."

"Yeah, so I meet Death and we kind of... hucked up, she's actually right here." Nick confessed to Felicia as he pointed to Death at his side, looking guilty the entire time he confessed to cheating on Felicia.

"What?" Felicia exclaimed, numb and shocked to what Nick just told her.

"Wha- Why would you even do that?" Felicia asked Nick, her eye now a little wet.

"I honestly didn't think I would be brought back to life and I didn't think I would fall in love with Death as quickly as I did... I'm sorry." Nick said at the end, guilt clearly written all over his face.

...

'What? Did he say he made out with Death? As in the death?!' Felicia thought to herself as see looked at Nick next to her, shocked by what she just heard.

"Wha- Why would you even do that?" Felicia asked Nick, hoping for a clearer answer to why Nick was suddenly putting up this road block between them.

"I honestly didn't think I would be brought back to life and I didn't think I would fall in love with Death as quickly as I did... I'm sorry." Nick replied to Felicia, she took his words in and she knew just how heart felt those words were when she saw the guilty look on his face.

"Can you promise me that this was just a one time thing?" Felicia asked Nick, actually crying now, she loved Nick and didn't want to lose him to another woman.

"I love you Kitten ... but I also love Death, just as much, I know it's selfish but I don't want to lose either of you." Nick told Felicia passionately.

Felicia felt up lifted when Nick said he loved him just like she him but they then dropped when he said that he also loved Death, it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions and she felt that she couldn't handle any of it.

"I have to go." She said without warning, getting up off the bed and rushing out of the door, crying as she did.

...

'Well at least you didn't get slapped like you were worried about.' Venom said from inside Nick's head.

'Not helpful.' Nick thought back.

"What are you going to do now dear?" Death questioned Nick.

"I don't know... but I do know what I said before was the truth, I love you, and I don't want to let go of you." Nick told Death, she then jumped on Nick, hugging him tightly, "I love you too dear."

After Felicia rushed out of the room, she also rushed down stares whilst crying her eyes out.

As soon as Jennifer saw that she was up and by her side hugging her close to her c.h.e.s.t, rubbing her back and whispering that it would be all ok.

She was able to calm down quite a bit because of Jennifer's soothing and so she was able to explain what exactly was happening to make her so upset.

Jennifer's first reaction was, "He needs a slap to the back of his head, don't worry deary, I'll set him straight." She said before trying to go up stares, but she was stopped by Felicia.

They were now on the sofa together, Ghost wasn't faraway, watching them concerned.

"Why?" Jennifer asked Felicia straight, sitting back down beside her.

"There's no point, he says that he loves her and there's no way I can match up to her, she's a entity that has always been around amassing power, you just can't fight that, it's actually why I wanted to talk Nick, I wanted to ask him how I could become stronger to stay by his side." Felicia omitted Jennifer who wad listening patiently.

After wiping her eyes and an encouraging look from Jennifer she continued, "I realized after seeing him take care of everything so easily, fighting a man made up of sand whilst on the back of a giant tiger, I could say that sentence a million times in my head and it still doesn't sound real... I just don't think I could keep up with that, especially now after he just became a lot stronger and I'm sure there's more hidden strength he's not telling us about." Felicia told her before she slouched back into the sofa, almost as if she was giving up on it all, Ghost came over and rested his head on her l.a.p, whimpering a little bit as he saw Felicia so upset.

Jennifer thought to herself for a little bit before turning back to Felicia, "So why is that stopping you from being with him, Nick would definitely help you get stronger if you asked him and he did say that he loves you... but do you love him enough to fight for him?" Jennifer questioned Felicia.

Her words made Felicia think, think about what her's and Nick's relationship actually ment to her.

Jennifer left her to her thoughts, walking out of the room.

Felicia sat on the sofa, running her fingers along Ghost's fur, just thinking to herself, thinking about how much Nick actually meant to her.
