Book 1 In The Omniverse Travel Series: My Hero Academia: Another Reincarnation

Chapter 2 - The end of the start, the start of it all, only to end once again PT. 2

"Ugh..."

In a seemingly ordinary forest, a young man lay in the dirt. Yes it was Kayami. He begins to shift slightly as his consciousness awakens. As he sits up and stretches slightly, you could notice his disorderly white hair and tired blue eyes that barely are focused on his surroundings. "Yawn..." He rubs his eyes gently than gives another tired, but slightly more focused, glance to his surroundings. "Seems I've be thrown in the forest while I slept again." He said nonchalantly. This wouldn't be the first, not even the second time, he's woken up in the middle of the forest without remembering how he got there.

"And... Hup" He hopped to his feet and said, "Well let's see, I usually go this way don't I?" Than he began to walk in that direction, little did he know, this was far far away from any forest he'd ever been too, and far different as well.

Kayami walked for several hours in the same direction, every so often he'd hear growls or feel something following him but he simply ignored it. Nothing in this forest can hurt me, he thought.

In his many journey's through the forest that he survived, there was plenty of time's he had to wrestle cougar's and kill bear's with nothing but his b.a.r.e hands. He had confidence in taking on anything in this forest by himself.

Soon, however, Kayami would find that his confidence was misplaced, as after another hour or two, Kayami once again heard the growling behind him. Feeling a little hungry after the long walk Kayami turned around to confront the beast that had been trailing him the entire time. Thinking it was a simple cougar, or at worst a bear, Kayami lazily rushed to it with heavy killing intent.

What he didn't expect was a tiger that was three times bigger than a normal tiger. As he approached the monster, his pupil's contracted and his eyes shot open wide. In the next second Kayami was sent flying, as the tiger lazily lashed out with it's tail and let it crash into the shocked Kayami. Kayami coughed up some blood, as he crashed into a tree, he could feel several of his ribs were broken and one of them had punctured his left lung.

These were grievous injuries. If he wasn't treated soon he'd die.

Blergh.

He coughed up another mouthful of blood and his countenance changed drastically. He became extremely pale.

"Damn that hurt you overgrown cat, what the hell's up with that?" Kayami began to push himself up and stood wobbly, as the tiger lazily looked down at the weak human. Letting out a bored yawn, the tiger lifted it's paw and let it drop on the human, certain it would kill the insignificant thing. Kayami dodged to the left and rolled, further aggravating his wounds. Pain racked his body as he continued to cough of blood.

In this situation, Kayami only had one trump card he could go to... "HELP!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, which sent another wave of pain through his body. Seeing the human continue to struggle the tiger decided it was bored playing with this human and decided it would just eat it's food. It's paw came down again, however this time at a speed at which Kayami couldn't even see.

Boom.

Adverse to the expectations of both the tiger, and the pitiful human it was about to squash, something came and blocked the path of the giant paw. It was a man peacefully sitting atop a sword. The most surprising part for Kayami was that... THE SWORD WAS F.U.C.K.I.N.G FLYING!?!?

As the tiger saw the cultivator, in front of it, it's heart dropped to the pit in it's stomach. With a flat expression the cultivator lazily slashed out with his sword, and killed the tiger.

Upon seeing he was in safe hands, Kayami passed out, mostly due to blood loss, but also because of the pain he was in.

...

Waking up once again, Kayami felt that his head was fuzzy. He rubbed his eyes gently and began recalling the previous event's.

"So young man, you're awake. I was quite surprised by your injuries, to be able to survive that long with your lung punctured, you have quite the strong will." Came an unfamiliar voice that snapped Kayami out of his thoughts. This was the cultivator that saved Kayami. "I healed you on the spot though so you didn't have to feel that pain anymore."

"Teach me, please." Kayami said.

A wide smile appeared across the cultivators face, "You want to learn from me? Well, well, well. What shall I do?"

Kayami began to grow impatient, until, "Very well. I don't wanna leave some kid out to die so I'll teach you, kid. What's your name?"

Kayami got on once knee and bowed his head, "Kayami greet's master."

"Hmm, good. You may call me Master Lin. Well let's start with your affinity, and your talent, then well see what path you want to take." Master Lin lead him over to a small sphere and motioned for him to lay his hand on it. Kayami did so without complaint.

What Master Lin saw next, nearly made his eyes pop out of his head.

"B-Black!?!? S-Silver, and gold!?!?" He was speaking about his talent, and affinity, respectively.
