The rumbling is getting stronger as time pass by. I can see in Penny's eyes that she is nervous. So much for being brave.

I ready my body, knife raised in the air and Sleepy, ready to spot out its acid to the enemy that is currently being attracted by the pouch.

"Here it comes!" Jon ties the pouch once more and pulls his ax out with ease, ready to fight the raging Beastkind.

Soon, I saw the nearby trees on our three o'clock position slowly falling down one by one. It was like it got bulldozed and not a single tree is spared. I squinted my eyes to look into the Beastkind that is currently doing this but I can't see a thing. My eyesight is not so great to spot it.

"Its a Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus! There are three of them! Ready yourselves!" Jon said and was very obvious that he is ready to fight anytime.

Contrary to that, Penny paled and I can see that she is trembling. Her legs started shaking once she heard the name Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus being blurted by Jon.

Soon, the Beastkind that Jon is talking about shows its appearance at at last. It looked like a big buffalo on Earth but its twice bigger than the former. It has three horns, all pointed towards us, ready to attack us. Its head was like wearing a helmet with a color brownish on it. This might be why they call it the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus.

"Ready yourselves!" Jon said and rushes towards the first Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus.

Jon swings the big ax down into he legs of the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus and with a strong force, the Beastkind topples down.

I didn't have to see what happened next since I also need to deal with mine.

"Sleepy!"

Sleepy flies up and spits a greenish liquid on its mouth, shooting it to the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus. This made my target to roar in pain after it hits its skin. I dashed and with a slight movement, I raised my knife and strikes the side of the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus. Although it has a hard head, its skin was relatively weaker and my normal knife just pass through its skin like its just cutting tofu. The wound was big, causing it to spray lots of blood. The Wrecking Bronze- Headed Taurus roared in pain as it didn't expect me to wound him down.

Sleepy shoots another green liquid, this time, it targeted the eyes of the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus. Before it can react, the liquid of Sleepy being shot penetrated its causing it to roar and stomp its feet with agitation. It also shook its head wildly, trying to shake off the liquid off in its eyes.

My eyes squinted and I quickly dash forward. Although the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus is rampaging wildly, I already found its weak spot that is very vulnerable at the moment which is its stomach's side. Although its dangerous to rush to the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus, its weak spot is not covered by any kind of hard skin at all.

"Sleepy, shoot its feet. Try to disable that Beastkind as soon as possible," I ordered while readying myself to attack.

Sleepy was quite a good attacker that its spits managed to hit all four feet moving as it thrash about. Although the spit of Sleepy is not that strong at the moment, making the armor on its limbs weaker. To bring down a larger opponent, one has to weaken its defenses before striking it head on. I don't care if its big, taking it down is all I need.

I grip the knife, squinted my eyes, and dash towards it when it momentarily stopped.

Chak!

Crisp sound emerged as I stabbed the stomach with the knife. I quickly slid the knife with strength causing the skin of the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus to get ripped without resistance.

"MOOO!"

The Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus let out a loud roar. Before it can even react, I stopped around its c.h.e.s.t area, twisted the knife, and push it further inside the body of the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus. The Beast didn't manage react and as the attack was done, the Beastkind fell, blood flowing out of its mouth and its wound. I flick away the blood in my hand however I can't take it away, its pretty viscous. I frowned and sighed, looks like I need to take a bath after this.

The Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus is still breathing however it didn't last long. Its eyes dilated after it breathed its last. Then, an announcement in my head rang.

"KEEPER LEVELED UP FROM LEVEL 1 TO LEVEL 2. NOTHING CHANGED IN THE POWER OF THE KEEPER. NEW QUESTS UNLOCKED. KILL MORE BEASTKINDS TO PURGE ENEMIES OF MANKIND!"

As expected, the stronger the enemy, the easier to level up. Also, from the looks of it, new quests are ready to be taken up now. I think I will take a look later on. I pull the knife out of the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus' carcass and stares at the blade. The monster attack this time caused my knife to go dull.

Since my target is killed, I looked at the two companions with me. As expected, Jon is beating it up head on. The Beastkind is already wounded to the extent that I doubt it would last long. When I turned towards Penny, I saw Penny being injured. Blood flows out from her mouth and a few parts of her clothes are destroyed. Her shortsword is also on the verge of collapsing, from what I can see, she strikes the armor of the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus causing the collapse of durability that her shortsword possess.

Looking at Penny, she was indeed shaking in fear, however, she still faced the enemy despite the odds are not in favor of her against the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Statue, she still faces it. Looks like her determination to beat it up is still on but her ability is beyond subpar to be able to kill it. I looked at the knife, still viscous from the blood of the Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus and back to Penny. The Wrecking Bronze-Headed Taurus that penny is facing is stomping its foot, ready to charge at Penny. When it was about to charge at penny, I made my move.
