Frank was also receiving a similar lecture.

"Boy. It is time for you to adopt a new family. Flora's family!"

Frank was left speechless. Adopt a new family? All he wanted was to hear "I love you." Why did things get so complicated?

"Dad, I think you're forgetting the whole purpose of this plan," he said helplessly.

Greg coughed awkwardly, "well, since we are already at this stage, you can either go with the flow or come clean about the truth to Flora."

Come clean with the truth? That was basically taking a stroll back to the single life. This time, his dad really led him astray. Would mom have a better idea? But she might scold me for listening to this old man in the first place. Her scolding goes on foreverrrrr.

Scratching his head, "dad, is there no other way? We haven't been dating for long, and I don't want her family to feel dissatisfied with me."

The room was plunged into silence.

"Bring her home." After a long period of silence, Joy spoke up. She walked up to her husband and son and took a seat opposite them.

She looked at Greg and shook her head. This man never learned. His pieces of advice never made any sense over the years. She had no idea where he got his confidence from. He had led so many people astray with his "views."

After criticizing her husband harshly in her mind, she moved her sight on to her son. She really didn't know who her son resembled. Which sane person would choose deception just to get a confession? He was such a brilliant child, and he got that from her. He was also dull, and he definitely got that from his dad.

She sighed heavily. These were the men in her life. Who had she offended in her past life?

"Did you hear me? Bring her home. Mom will help you."

She said again when she didn't get any response.

"Okay mom. I'll talk to her and fix a time." It seemed like dad wasn't the way to go anymore.

"Why are you so hung up on hearing her confess her love though?" She didn't understand her son's thoughts.

He answered readily, "I just want to know how she feels. I know she likes me very much, but I want to leave my mark on her heart."

Joy laughed at her simple son. "Are you sure she doesn't love you? She might just be an action girl and not really expressive."

He thought about it. Although she never said the words he wanted to hear so much, she said caring words all the time. Was he really asking for too much?
