Bound To You For A Lifetime

After both sides made their plans, the couple spent the weekend together free of worries. Well, one of the couple.

"So tell me, what can I do that'll make you break up with me?" Frank asked coolly, but he was actually freaking out in his mind.

Flora took her time as she munched on her mango sorbet.

"Asking me what you can do is enough for me to break up with you," she answered teasingly.

His heart thumped wildly. Without thinking about what her words meant, he exclaimed, "you want to break up with me?"

He tried to calm his breathing. "I am such a good guy. Quite a catch. What did I do wrong? How can you just break up with me?"

She looked at the man next to her who was suddenly hyperventilating. She made a mental note to never tease him again. Afterwards, she patted his back, "calm down babe. Just pulling your legs. Why are you taking it so seriously?"

He looked at her and saw that she was suppressing her laughter. Then he blushed silly. He made a mental note to himself, 'Having a guilty conscience can shorten one's life-span.'

When he successfully calmed down, she looked at her melted sorbet and felt sad. He noticed this, then snatched the cup from her hands and downed the drink.

"I'll get you another one."

He pulled her up from the chair, and they were on their way.

As they strolled hand in hand, Flora gave it some thought and replied sincerely.

"If you cheat on me, I'll leave you. I'm young, so I have many opportunities to meet other people. I will absolutely not tolerate cheating."

He nodded in agreement. He was about to make a promise to never cheat on her but to his surprise, she wasn't done yet.

"If you ever cheat on me, I'll trick you into signing a vasectomy form. Then I'll knock you out or use voodoo to control you to get the procedure done."

Then she whispered in a creepy voice, "my granny Janet knows a person who knows a person who knows another person that will get the job done cleanly."

As she said that, her hands tightened around his arm giving him a fright.

At the beginning of her narration, he felt goosebumps all over. When she ended it with the creepy voice, he felt dizzy. He really wasn't a brave person, plus he totally believed that Flora would do it.

For some weird reason, although she looked cute and lovely, she scared him a lot.

They reached the sorbet place with Frank still out of it. She looked at him and was pleased.

After a while, he became normal again. He must absolutely never cheat on his girlfriend.

Noticing that he snapped out of it, she continued.

"I'll absolutely break up with you if you lie to me."

She remembered granny Janet's lecture on lies. Lies were forgivable, but you've got to make your bottomline very clear.
