"Dad, I really cannot take it anymore. I feel my self-restraint melting away like ice in summer." Flora had been pulling some difficult stunts lately, and he already exhausted his strength looking away.

"That's what a man should do. She's simply testing you. Just keep up the good work. If you don't want her to break up with you, don't be impulsive."

The first time Flora dressed in a see-through nightwear before bed, he had a nosebleed. Even after taking care of it, the moment he saw her again, the blood flowed down like Niagara Falls. Since that day, he had lost several pints of blood due to nosebleeds from Flora's testing.

"Are you sure she's testing me and not hinting at me to take charge?" He had a feeling she wanted their relationship to move to the next level, but his dad was a pro at matters like this, but he still couldn't help but ask.

"Trust me. She's testing you. Stay strong."

"I'm thinking about staying over at the clinic for a few days to gain my composure," he shared his thoughts with his dad.

He waved his hands at his son, "don't do that. That pretty much the same as giving up. Men don't give up in the face of temptation."

At this point, Frank was starting to really really doubt Greg.

If Flora knew that Greg was the one ruining all her hardworking, she'd pull his hair out.

...

"How are you going to take him down with one strike?" Claudia asked with curiosity written all over her face.

"I have no idea," Flora replied weakly as she laid limply on the table.

Seraphina, who hadn't spoken since they arrived, finally revealed her thoughts.

"When one body has fever, a cold body can can cool it down more effectively that drugs." She continued to sip on her drink.

Flora and Claudia looked at her in confusion.

"Is it scientific?" Claudia asked.

"Let's just say 'laymen remedy for fever'," she shrugged.

Seeing how they didn't understand what she meant, she could only sigh.

"Think about it literally. Don't overcomplicate your thoughts."

Up until the moment she arrived home, Flora was still confused by her little sister's words.

Frank saw that she was lost in thought and poked her, "what's up?"

She shook her head. He placed his hand over her forehead.

"Your temperature is normal. What are you thinking about so deeply?"

The instant he said temperature, a lightbulb went on in her head and she jumped up suddenly, scaring Frank.

"I figured it out! As expected of a brilliant student," she started applauding out of nowhere, making Frank more confused.

Seeing that she acted a little too spirited, she adjusted her mood. "Seraphina gave me a riddle and I just solved it. I'm a little tired today. Let's go to bed."

Not doubting her words, the couple went to bed. He breathed out in relief when she wore normal nightwear.

'It seems like the test is over,' he thought to himself.

Little did he know that the next obstacle was a pop-up quiz.
