Currently at 9p.m., the couple was holding a staring contest.

"You're beautiful," that smooth voice carried a hint of adoration.

The girl blushed, "you're beautiful too."

They both spoke about each other's day and what they did. This conversation later went deeper as they got to know more.

Frank was 22. He was considered a genius, so he started college relatively early, and by 18 he started medical school. He was currently a first year resident at the hospital.

Like her boyfriend, Flora was on a similar path except she was 18 and a third-year student in college majoring in criminal justice.

Frank was the only child, so was Flora. They both loved children. They both weren't picky eaters. He was more of a loner compared to Flora, who had Seraphina and Claudia.

"Love at first sight?" Flora asked on their way home.

"Nope. On seeing you, I felt I'd regret it if I didn't ask you out," he answered calmly.

"So love at first sight?"

"Nope. You were surrounded by light when you walked into Sandy's room. You took my breath away."

"So love at first sight?"

"Nope. Your presence made me calm, but my heart was beating crazy."

"So love at first sight?"

Frank stopped the car and turned to the little girl next to him.

"I don't know what love between a man and woman is, but I plan on loving you over a long period of time."

Flora choked on the words she was going to spit out. After spending the evening with him, she discovered he was the type to speak his mind. Sweet nothings? No, he only said what he meant.

Still, she couldn't help but blush, and her heartbeat couldn't help but quicken.

"Smooth-talker," she stuck out her tongue at him.

"Thank you girlfriend."

She giggled, "call me when you get home." She sandwiched his face between her palms. He held on to her hands on his face.

"Hold hands. Hug. Kiss. Our next three dates."

Flora couldn't take it anymore and ran out of the car. She turned back to wave her hand at him before going into the house.

What a crazy guy, she thought to herself as her steps got lighter and she whistled into the house.

...

In the car, Frank called his mom.

"Mom, do you get impulsive when you like someone?"

His mom sat up, "you didn't pounce on another's person daughter, did you?"

"No, but I informed her of the sequence."

His mom had no idea where her son got his bad ways from.

"What did she say?"

Frank paused for a while before replying, "she ran away."

Right away, the call was called off.
