The trio didn't want to leave the wonderful place as only a fool would ever want to go back, kicking the beauty of Heavens and preferring to live as a caged bird, confined between walls.

"Don't limp you both. Move fast we have to store these somewhere in cold."

Ezlynn chapped carrying the basket in left hand but soon switched it and tucked in the front to her belly.

"Yes we are following you. But will you slow down a bit ?"

Charis who was having trouble managing the basket and holding it barely.

"Why is she always nagging about walking fast ? She needs everything done within a blink. I mean she should get the hold of horse."

Charis's face grimaced with a wailing expression which made Eire outburst of giggle. She became worn out of her consistent scolding 'don't do this Charis' , 'move fast Charis' , 'hurry up and eat Charis' , 'finish your bath within minutes Charis'.

"It is not her fault to be like this. Her father served in the military and she was brought up in that atmosphere. You know what men become surrounded by bloodshed , under the lurking sword above heads. Her building was in that atmosphere which made her heart cold and herself stern like rock yet she opened with you."

Eire explained in a mild manner while Charis halted and stole a glance towards Ezlynn who was carrying the basket effortlessly ahead them. Charis could imagine under what circ.u.mstances she led her childhood even she remained in her shoes before teleporting here.

"I know what it is like to live under constant fear of death."

She sighed helplessly and accelerated a bit when Ezlynn called them again with piqued irritation visible on her face.

[Distinct Laughing]

As the trio reached the midst of the way walking upto the exit of garden, loud laughter nearby snagged their attention.

"Is anyone else is also permitted to this part ?"

Curiosity killed the cat, Eire inquired scouring off the dirt from Charis's red dress.

"What are you doing ? Stop it. It is not like we are having guests Eire."

Though she knew whoever he was- not going to like her existence.

'Come on Charis it is only a small peccadilo to deal with.'

She mustered up the courage unknown of the arriving storm.

A lady finally showed up in the scenario surrounding by the cl.u.s.ter of female servants who trailed behind her quietly. Her appearance enthralled Charis, wearing a heavy purple silk dress adorned with gold which was brushing the ground she wore a golden crown embedded with a big sparkling gem in the middle.

"Greetings to Her highness."

Ezlynn and Eire immediately reacted and bent down to bow the imposing silhouette before them. That licentious queen was showing off much of her skin in that so called dress with the V neck line that her torso was exposed, baring the cleavage too.

Ezlynn became filled with turmoil because of her unexpected presence as she never visited this side of palace. Now they didn't had the chance to retreat nor the both servants had the temerity to turn their backs on the queen.

"Who are you and what are you doing here, dawdling around shamelessly."

The queen demanded an explanation, the atmosphere filled with the air of confidence instantly. No doubt she got bemused by Charis at the very sight but maintained her composure.

"My queen we are the chief servants of East wing assigned to serve milday Charis."

Ezlynn straightened up and answered her while eyes glued to the ground, she dared not to peek. The lady stared at charis eerily, with many colors coming and fading on her face. Adara found Charis attractive with blonde curled hair, green eyes and perfectly carved figure. A sense of jealousy evoked in her despite looking at Charis's elf ears she found herself admiring her but having not so plump b.r.e.a.s.ts, and the flicker in iris she felt inferiority to Charis.

"Oh so this is the wench His highness took in."

It was just for some brief moments the words stirred up a volcano in Charis. 'Why everyone is humiliating me?' Thinking to herself she took an extemporaneous start to teach a lesson to the pretentious queen.

"With due respect Her Highness I do not think you are that ill bred to use such foul language to suppress someone."

Previously she refused to bow her acknowledging that she was an aristocrat herself and now she offended the queen by picking up a fight with her fearlessly.

"How dare you- You have gone too far by spouting such thing from your filthy mouth."

Adara glared at her throwing the spades of anger, hands curled into fists. This was the time Charis took the notice of Seren who was standing aside on the right, secretly waving Charis not to provoke her further.

"It is very lucid Her Highness who is at fault here."

Charis was not in a mood to surrender or to step back. While Ezlynn amd Eire prayed to the God to save their heads after this. Cold shiver penetrated into their body settling at the base of the spine.

"Did you ever look into mirror. Look around it is certainly not a place where you can spout balderdash at your will."

She played the last card making Charis aware of her situation and the circ.u.mstances she could make her fall into only because she made her angry.

"Why ? By the title of Milady and the special treatment I am receiving can't I defend myself. Even if there is someone who could lecture me is sure enough not you but His Highness."

Charis gave the taste of her own medicine and felt elated - satisfied with her act. 'I can protect my dignity even without magic. And these people would not dare to use it against me because they have to keep themselves alive.'

"You ! If you are seeking for death so desperately. I will grant your wish. "

Adara growled in anger, vowed to do anything to unleash her rage

while Charis became amused with her defeated reaction.

"Come on you two. I am so hungry"

She reverted her gaze and ordered to both but something made her halt.

"Oh Seren why are still rooted there, you lethargic girl. It's a misunderstanding Her Highness Seren is also a part of my bunch of servitude. I shall take her back to my chamber."

Fearing that the arrogant queen would dare to harm her, Charis called her back. Wondering how she remained unscathed in that witch's cave.
