Calla Lily, The Eunuch King's Goblin Bride

A spicy aroma filled the air as Adara reached close to the stall where the man was making kebabs.

Mashing the meat in hands and sticking it to a rod, which in turn was supposed to be placed into the dugout hole nearby into the ground. 

Which had some coal burned in that six feet dugout pit, from which a heavy smoke was coming out.

 The man was himself adding sizzle to the picture with his outstanding looks, along with the variety of spicy ingredients added to the meat. 

"Adonisssss!"

Her taste buds automatically felt the sizzling, fiery flavour as Adara's mouth began to water and she gave Adonis a puppy look, who's utmost wish at that time was just to get fed.

"Okay, as you say love."

Adara never needed to utter anything to him, Adonis always knew how to read her silence and her eyes.

Both had a strong bonding that could sense anything wrong just by analysing expressions. It was a piece of cake for him to understand what her beloved lady wanted. 

Adara brought her hands together and clapped gently in happiness like a child. The naive act brought a smile on Adonis's face.

The lovebirds strode towards the stall and Adonis placed the order. 

"Two rods of kebabs please."

A single one contained about three pieces of b.r.e.a.s.t part of chicken. 

Adara was diligently staring at the man's activity, Adonis found her drooling to be precise. He remained rooted there with arms tucked close to the c.h.e.s.t while Adara rested her hands on her h.i.p.s.

The man carefully stick the minced meat, marinated with different sauces, and brushed oil onto the rod. Then he placed the meat into the pit be grilled with smoke.

In that interminable moment a nervous laughter snagged the attention of the duo. Nearby the shop next to the kebab one, was a jewellery stall with all the items made of jades, ruby and emeralds.

Another couple was standing there with the handsome man holding the wrist of the elegant lady, as he was kneeling on his one knee while the lady stood in front of him, totally surprised.

"Lilac, you know, I'm that sombre darkness, saddened was my past until you arrived, you came as a ray of hope for me to believe, you are my moon, Lilac. Will you accept me, so that we can't be separated and our existence could not be pulled apart?"

The man was holding a shiny, delicate green jade bracelet while he confessed his feelings to the lady, proposing her in the most romantic way and in front of the witnesses.

The lady's eyes began to fill with moisture as the overwhelmed sensations of love crept into her heart. 

"Yes, yes Markos."

The lady named Lilac nodded in disbelief as the man grabbed her wrist tightly and slipped the jade bracelet of perfect size onto her flawless arm.

Markos stood up and hugged lilac tightly, c.a.r.e.s.sing her hair from back as his one hand rested onto her backbone. 

Adonis glanced at Adara who was standing there, witnessing the whole scenario with her hands covering the mouth, with an "aw" expressions.

Adonis knew that she wanted to be loved that way, she wanted to be admired openly. Adara did not complained even once but Adonis knew that she wanted him to claim her.

She always tend to agree to sneak out with him but at the same time, Adara wanted him to confess his love to the general, to her father.

"Your order, gentleman."

The man's voice pricked their ears and brought them back to the present moment. 

"Thank you."

Adonis grabbed the paper bag from him and both started to walk with baby steps towards the sitting area a few shops ahead.

"Do you want me to do a confession like that?"

He was curious about her remarks as Adara was more silent now after seeing those lovebirds. 

"Huh? No, I know you adore me a lot. It's just I -I want you to talk to father now."

As Adonis expected from her.

"Mhm, I will talk soon. Maybe tomorrow."

Adonis replied after careful thinking. 

As the duo strode towards the wooden chairs, Adonis pulled Adara into the narrow alley that arrived in between.

"W-what are you…..?"

Before she could question Adonis thrust his lips onto hers, without giving her a chance to bad mouth or retort.

His right hand travelled back towards her backbone which arched under his sensual touch.  

Adara melted in his embrace as their bodies entwined and their souls collapsed, trying to devour the moment. 

His naughty tongue explored every corner of her mouth, as it rolled sideways l.i.c.k.i.n.g her flesh. Adara m.o.a.n.e.d shyly and as Adonis stopped, she tried to catch breath.

Both shared an eye contact with so many feelings flickering in shiny sockets, many colours of pink and red arrived onto their faces.

But their halcyon moments did not last long as the ground suddenly started to rumble, the shaking was not severe but caused everyone in the market to wonder.
