King Theon strode out of the bed chamber of queen Adara and the door was closed by the guards standing on both sides. He halted there for some seconds, his eyes gazing outside through the arc-windows.

Cool breeze brushed his cheeks gently as the windows were without any panes or glass. He moved closer in upper vertical towards the arc and placed his both fists on the sides.

"How lucky she is to have such a person like me, a powerful king indeed. Mmm she isn't bad herself, good enough for me to save my face."

Mumbling to himself in breath King Theon was smirking proudly.

The corridor was stretched on a vast area but was empty except having those two guards outside of queen's chamber.

"I should better find a fast way to lure the neighbouring kingdoms. I'm sure they will be willing to invest for seeing such a weird creature."

His mind was running with horsepower for a schematic plan.

"Maybe they would trade some of magical potions. Or anyone would offer the solution of reviving the stone. Though this haven't let out of the walls yet."

Kingdom Bellezza was on the verge of collapsing, waiting for someone with mythical beauty to revive the core stone as the royal seer predicted. The trees outside were swaying upon the melody of air. Valleys were standing upright proudly with the greenery.

"How many years has passed and it's still beautiful. Obviously it was magical previously before the unknown curse befallen."

Sighing he raked through his raven hair and neatly kept beard. His blue eyes pierced through the outside picture, printing an image in the mind and saving it as a memory.

Ebbing his blue royal robe clacked due to air stroke and he walked through that round going corridor.

"My Lord the L-lady has been treated as you ordered."

The royal doctor serving them since ages chipped lowly with a bow before his highness, shivering with fright. In the middle of the corridor where he was waiting since two hours.

"How much time will she take to be presentable ?"

The King became curious about fulfilling his ideas, standing there like an upright statue he demanded the doctor for an answer.

"Sire about a week. The lady also possessed some sort of magical cultivation which is drained to none. It will take a week, more or less to recover the loss."

King Theon frowned mumbling curses to the soldier who used that draining chain on her.

"You can go off."

The doctor presented his dismissal greeting and went off.

"Let's visit that ugly creature."

His face grimaced with an unpredictable expression.

[Theon walks upto Charis' resting chamber]

The door opens and a sentry announces the arrival of King Theon. He looks up, very surprised and notice for the first time, in the half lit room that a lady with blonde wavy hair kept freely on the shoulders glares at him with tears in her green eyes.

That resembles much of a snake but beautiful with yellow-green flecks. Fair milk skin much better than his was glowing in the green robe given to her for covering the body, was only resting on her plump b.r.e.a.s.ts coming down towards her legs barring her arms and cleavage.

"How do you do ?"

"You'd better be very careful Sire, I'm a bad luck."

I replied sarcastically. Theon chuckles and wander around.

"I understand there's a snake in my sleeve now and I'm careful, my love."

He settled in a chair while I stay laying on the silk sheets. My body was aching badly with pain and certainly I didn't wanted to open a wound.

"What do you want ? Kill me ? Or sent me to dungeons to satisfy your people with an answer ?"

I was curious and worried at the same time about what was going to happen to me.

"Why would I do all that ? I appreciate how much you fear me and my powers acknowledging that I can end your life at my will. But you know you are like that golden hen for me whom I can gain much with. And I'm not a fool that will fall for greed. I'm a patient man."

What nonsense he was spouting was beyond my understanding. But one thing remained clear as before that I was gonna stay alive, very much alive to recover my lost magic.

"You better get well and look presentable. Because you have to serve me like that."

He stood up from that fancy chair and proudly walked upto the exit.

[Before door closes someone arrives]

As soon as that cruel King left my chamber I found attendees coming in, lined up with head lowered and gaze stitched to the ground. Their bodies slightly shivering though they tried hard not to show any sign of that.

"We are here to help you in bath. Let us to serve you milady."

A sudden rage filled me in. How could he send people who are unwilling, how could he force anyone & snatching their right to speak ? Though I needed a bath but I wasn't his concubine and certainly not at his mercy or orders.

"Leave all these here. And from now on whenever you bring this kind of stuff you don't have to serve me. I know you are recruited for this but I don't want it until you stop fearing me."

I bluntly stated my part and they looked up in unison, all surprised. No one uttered anything for moments but soon they all knelt down.

"Milady it's the first time someone has considered us. Let us to serve you, we don't fear anything now."

A sigh left my lips and I found a grip loosen in my heart. It was the first step to live here well and to win the hearts to prove my innocence.
