"Are you still mad at me, brother?" I asked my brother who's now sitting at the passenger seat right now but once again, he ignores me and continue to look...no, let me rephrase that… He is glaring outside of the window silently. I just sighed. Seriously… He's really mad at me because of what I did a while ago? But I thought he already forgive me because they didn't return home without me so why he's still acting like that?

"Brother..." I called him for the nth time but still, he ignores me as if I was just talking to the air. Seriously!

"Hey! Stop acting like a child and talk to me already, big brother!" I said as when my voice suddenly raised up because of my annoyance with my brother but he still continues to ignore me! Oh come on, brother! Stop being so stubborn!

"Brother!" I said out of frustration when this person sitting beside me suddenly whispered to me.

"Just let him be for now." I heard Ethan said while sitting here beside me. What?

"I can't do that. Look at him right now…" I said as I lower my voice and secretly pointed out my scary brother who's still glaring outside of the window. Good thing that his car's windows are tinted or else, he might scare those people walking outside.

"He looks so scary to the point that it makes me worry about those people who might see him like that." I whispered to him as well and saw Ethan suddenly sighed before he turns to look at me.

"I know but you can't blame your brother for getting mad at you right now, Chloe." Ethan said that made me frowned. What? Why? What did I do?

"Why? I just want to have a proper talk to him. What's wrong with that?" I said as I tried to lower down my voice again. I don't get it. What did I do aside from asking them to leave the room a while ago? I just sighed once again. I really don't have an idea on why we are whispering with each other anyway.

"Didn't you know that you just trampled with his pride?" I heard Ethan whispered at me that made me startled and turned to look at his serious face.

"W-what?" I asked him that made him just sighed before he moves a little bit closer to me.

"The way you asked me to escort him out of the room…" I heard Ethan whispered at me. B-but...

"B-but I didn't mean to do that… I was just…" I said as I tried to remember what I just said to my brother. Oh no… I think Ethan is right… I know in myself that I didn't mean to hurt my brother's feelings but somehow… It hurts how I delivered the message to him… I just place my palm on my face. What have you done, Chloe?

"But as a brother just like Xander... I also know that he's not totally mad at you right now but he is more likely blaming himself more by what happened to you." Ethan suddenly said in a very low voice that made me returned my attention to him once again. Really?

"Is that true?" I asked and saw him simply just nod at me while his attention is focused on the road or is he just pretending that we're not talking here at the back from my brother?

"But you know what? I know that Xander can't ignore you for too long. After all, you are his one and only sister." Ethan said that made me just sighed. Really? But I'm still worried...

"I know but it doesn't change the fact that I accidentally hurt his feelings." I said before I took a deep sigh. Now, I think I regret making that decision because even though we're always teasing and annoying each other… He's still my big brother and I don't him to hate him… He's my one and only big brother…

"You just said it… It was an accident so you are not aware that you actually hurt him so the least thing you can do right now is to apologize to him later." Ethan said in a very low voice that made me took a glimpse at him and saw him smiling while still looking at the road. Ethan...

"Because for me, you still have to apologize to him even though I know that by this time… He already forgave you." I heard Ethan said before he took a short glimpse at me before he crossed his arms on his c.h.e.s.t and looked at the streets outside of the window.

"How sure you are about that? Are you a mind reader or something?" I asked him that made him even more smile before he turns to look at me once again and messed up my hair.

"Let's just say that me and your brother know each other so well and knowing him… He can't live a single day without talking to you. I can assure you that, Chloe." I heard Ethan said while still smiling at me and his hand is still on top of my head. Is that really true?

"That's not true, La Flair." Our attention was suddenly diverted when we suddenly heard my brother's serious voice and when we turned to look at him. We saw him...glaring at us!

"Oh really, Alexander Ramirez? So, are you saying that I'm lying to your beloved sister just now?" Ethan suddenly said and obviously, he's mocking my brother. I was about to stop him before my brother starts to get mad even more when Ethan suddenly wrapped his left arm on my waist that made me turn to look at him in shock. W-what is he doing!?

"Of course---hey! Don't hugged her you, b*stard!" I heard my brother said angrily when Ethan suddenly pulled me even more closer to him that made him literally hugs me! What is wrong with him!?

"For the record, Xander. I have a name and that's Dylan Ethaniel La Flair." Ethan said as he continues to annoy my big brother. Oh no… That eyes again… I turned to look at Ethan once again as I tried to plead him to stop by looking at him but he just smiled at me and hugged me even more tighter. What!?

"I don't care! Just let my sister go! Hey, you. Stop the car. I'll be switching my sit with that guy." I heard my brother said angrily as he suddenly instructed his personal driver to stop the car. What!? Stop the car!? But we're in the middle of a highway, brother! Are you insane!?

"Y-yes, young master." I heard his personal driver said. What!? Don't tell me, he's really going to obey my brother's insane orders!?

"Why can't I, Xander? Have you forgotten that you've once offered me to become your brother-in-law before? Actually, you just offered me that just a few days ago." Ethan suddenly said once again that made me glared at him. He's really crazy! He knows that my brother's patience right now is so short than his usual patience so why is he still doing this!?

"Let go of me already." I said to him seriously as I tried to remove his hands encircled on my waist but he even hugged me tighter. What!? Let go of me, you pervert!

"Just a little bit longer." I heard he suddenly whispered at me. Huh? What was that supposed to mean?

"Shut up. I changed my mind not too long ago! Hey, you! I told you to stop the car already or I will throw you outside right now!" I heard my brother said that made his personal driver startled.

"B-but young master, we will cause a traffic jam if we do that." I heard his personal driver said. Brother! Don't scare him like that!

"Tsk. Then do something!" I heard my brother shouted at him that made me turn to look at Ethan again and saw him...smiled!? What's that supposed to mean!?

"You see that?" Ethan suddenly whispered to me.

"Huh?" I asked in confusion. See what? I saw him turned to look at me again and smile.

"Your brother loves you, Chloe… He's panicking just because I hugged you like this. Can't you see?" Ethan said before he distanced himself to me. W-what?

"You know what, Chloe? You just have to learn how to appreciate those little things that your brother is doing for you because your brother just wants you to rely on him." Ethan said before he returned his attention to me. Rely on him?

"Don't only rely on yourself, Chloe… Learn how to rely on others as well because we all need someone to rely on." Ethan said before he turned to look outside the window. I know that but...relying on someone is also part of a person's weakness, right?

"You're very lucky to have him as your brother, you know…" I heard Ethan said before he took a short glimpse at me while still smiling and returned his attention outside of the window. Yes, he's right. Brother can be mean and annoying most of the time but he also never forgets how to become a great brother to me...

"I know… Thanks, Ethan..." I said that made him just nod before I suddenly felt that the car suddenly stops and saw my brother went out of the car before the car's door on Ethan's side suddenly opens.

"Hey, you! Step out of the car no and switch with me!" My brother said angrily that made Ethan laughed before he went out of the car.

"Hahaha! You're so overprotective, Xander." Ethan said before brother enters and sat beside me.

"Don't call me that anymore because you're no longer my friend." My brother said sternly that made Ethan laughed even more.

"Hahaha! I know you're not serious about that so I'm letting this conversation go for now." Ethan said as he tried to suppress his laughs and sat on the passenger seat in the front. The car is finally moving once again and ever since they switched seats… No one has ever dare to speak! So, I think it's time for me to apologize to him. I just took a deep breath first before I called him...

"Brother..." I called him but he still ignores me just like what he did a while ago. He's really mad at me...

"I'm sorry..." I said sincerely that made my brother turned to look at me. I know that it's my fault for being tactless that's why---

"That's fine… Just don't forget that you will always have me, all right?" My brother suddenly said before he c.a.r.e.s.sed my hair and gently smiled at me… Brother...

"Yes, brother… Thank you." I said as I smiled at him also… I sighed in relief. Thank goodness… I'm glad that my brother already forgives me. I was about to speak once again when my phone suddenly rings that's why I get it from my bag and answered it.

"Yes, hello?" I asked politely because it's an unknown number.

[So where is my loyal right hand man still alive?] The guy on the other line said that gives shivers on my body...

"What are you talking about?" I asked as I tried not to sound nervous. T-this person's voice is so dominating and very authoritative… T-this is the first time I have heard his voice...

[Hahaha! You really don't have an idea, do you?] This guy said sarcastically. W-what?

"What? Who are you?" I asked as I tried not to panic but I think my brother still noticed that there's something wrong...

"What's wrong?" My brother asked but I couldn't even answered him when the person on the other line started to speak once again that made me stopped.

[It doesn't matter who I am. Anyways, I'm glad that you survive that night. I'm quite impressed, you know.] This person suddenly said that made me froze. H-how did he know about that?

"What are you talking about? Hey, who are you? Hey!" I asked when he suddenly ended the phone call. Who's that? Is that person Shinichirou Hiroshima?

"Who's that, Chloe?" My brother asked worriedly that brought back in my senses.

"I don't know. He suddenly ended the call when I asked him." I said as I tried to stay calm. I don't want brother to get worried again. I saw his face suddenly became stiff.

"Give me that person's number." My brother said before I gave him my phone and saw him called someone on his phone.

"Hello, Gregory. Yes, It's me. I just need a favor to ask you. Hm. Yes, that's right. Can you detect this person's number and where that call came from as soon as possible?" I heard my brother asked that made me gulped. Gregory is one of my brother's friends though I don't remember his face anymore.

"Yes, someone called my sister just now. He actually look so suspicious to me." My brother said seriously as I saw him nod.

"Okay, thank you. Update me about the details as soon as possible. Thanks, Gregory." My brother said before he ended the phone call.

"Brother…" I called him because he looks so serious to the point that it makes me nervous. I saw my brother looked at me before he returned my phone to me and smiled at me.

"It's all right. Everything's going to be alright, Chloe…" My brother said but you don't look alright to me, brother… I was about to ask what was he thinking when he suddenly speaks.

"Anyways, what happened to your conversation with your kidnapper?" My brother asked that made Ethan chuckled. My goodness...

"Brother…" I said as I saw him shrugged his shoulders.

"What? I didn't know his name so what should I call him?" He said that made me sighed.

"His name is Isaiah." I said that made him just nod.

"Oh, so the kidnapper's name is Isaiah..." Brother said once again that made Ethan laughs. Oh come on...

"Brother…" I said that made him just nod.

"Okay, I'm sorry. So what happened?" Brother asked.

"He told me that his boss' name is Shinichirou Hiroshima." I said that made brother and Ethan suddenly became serious. Why? Did they know him?

"Shinichirou Hiroshima? I haven't heard his name before… How about you, Dylan?" My brother asked but Ethan just shook his head.

"Neither do I." Ethan said seriously.

"So what else did he tell you?" Brother asked once again.

"He said that, Shinichirou Hiroshima is his friend but they are not that close with each other." I said that made my brother just nod while thinking about something.

"Then we have to find that Shinichirou Hiroshima as soon as possible…" I heard my brother said seriously that made me just nod while my heart still racing so fast. Who is that person? And how did he know about what happened to me that night?
