I couldn't help myself but sighed while leaning my back in my seat. We're on the way to school now but to be honest, I'm not feeling okay today. It feels like my head is aching ever since I woke up this morning. Maybe because of too much stress these past few days… Preparing for a wedding by ourselves is really hard, huh. I just sighed once again before I closed my eyes once again. I feel like I want to sleep some more ~

"Hey, are you okay? You look very tired, Chloe." I heard my crazy cousin suddenly asked who's sitting beside me that made me open my eyes and turn to look at him.

"I'm fine. I'm just tired, Nathan." I simply said before I closed my eyes once again. Aaaah… My head hurts.

"Is that so? Then you should stay at home today. You can't be sick on your engagement party tomorrow, you know." I heard Nathan said that made me just sighed. No, I can't especially when our exam is getting nearer. I can't let my grades to go down.

"I will not. I know what I'm doing, Nathan." I said seriously at him. I just saw him shook his head while grinning at me. What's with that?

"Yes, you're right because you are the famous Chloe Ramirez after all." I heard Nathan said as he smiled playfully at me. What?

"Stop annoying me, Nathan." I said annoyingly before I punched his arm lightly that made him just laugh. My goodness. I really hate him sometimes.

"Hahaha! I'm just trying to light the mood in here, you know…" I heard Nathan suddenly said before he returned his attention in front. I just sighed as I shrugged my shoulders. He is really crazy.

"By the way, Chloe…" I heard Nathan suddenly called me that made me returned my attention to him once again.

"What?" I asked seriously while still looking at him. If he wants to annoy me again, I will really ask Isaiah to drop him off in my car right now.

"Are you really sure that you're going to invite them?" Nathan suddenly asked that made me stopped. Huh?

"Yes, what's wrong with that?" I said and asked him back. Why? What's wrong with him?

"Nothing." Nathan said seriously that made me furrowed my brows. Wait a minute… Why does he look so serious right now? No, let me rephrase that… He always look so serious everytime she is involved in our conversation… But why?

"Nathan, may I ask you something?" I asked him that made him turn to look at him.

"Anything, my dearest cousin…" I heard Nathan said seriously. I have to know why he's being like this towards her.

"Why do I feel like you don't like Rachel as my friend?" I asked directly to the point that made him startled. Why? Why does he look like he really doesn't like Rachel as my friend? What's wrong with him?

"Did she do something to you?" I asked seriously at him that made him stopped while avoiding my gaze.

"No, there's none." Nathan simply said while still avoiding my gaze. Huh? Then why is he acting so strange like this?

"Then why are you acting like that? You're being mean to her sometimes." I honestly said to him because ever since he transfers schools and become part of our class… He always ignores Rachel even though how kind she is everytime she approached my crazy cousin...

"I am not." Nathan said seriously that made me arched my brow. Oh, really? Then why do I feel like I wasn't convinced by that?

"Then why?" I asked because it's really making me confused. I know Rachel very well because we've been friends for a very long time and I know that she is a great person but I also know Nathan since we have been together since we were kids and this person...

"Nothing." Nathan said seriously before looking outside the window. Nathan… He is not the type of person who will just ignore somebody just because he doesn't like them so I just wonder why he's acting like this towards my best friend.

"We're here." I heard Nathan said as we finally arrived at school. Nathan went out first leaving me alone here that made me just sighed. Nathan looks a bit irritated just now. I just shook my head and was about to open the door when Isaiah opens it.

"Thanks, Isaiah." I said as I saw Isaiah just nod while still smiling at me.

"Oh. Ethan, you're here!" My attention was immediately diverted when I heard Nathan's voice. What? Dylan's here? Where?

"Have you been waiting for us, Ethan?" I heard Nathan asked once again and there I saw Dylan walking closer towards us. Hmmm…? What is he doing here?

"Good morning. Yes, Nathan but I just arrived not too long ago so..." I heard Dylan said to Nathan before he divert his attention to me as he gently smiles at me.

"Good morning, Chloe…" Dylan said while standing close to me and smile at me. I just nodded my head as I smiled back at him.

"Good morning, Dylan…" I said when my head suddenly hurts that made me hold onto Dylan's arm for support.

"Hey, are you alright?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked while my eyes are still close. Geez. Why now?

"Chloe…" I heard Nathan's voice as he gently hold my arm.

"I'm fine. Sorry about that…" I said when I finally regains my strength.

"Are you sure?" I heard Dylan asked once again that made me turn to look at him and saw him looking at me with so much worries in his eyes. I just smiled at him as I finally let go of his arm..

"I'm okay now. Anyways, what are you doing here?" I asked while still looking at him. I think I really made him worry too much.

"I'm waiting for you." I heard Dylan suddenly said that shocked all of us. Yes, us. Including these people who are here with us right now. W-what did he just said? I was about to speak when Nathan suddenly speaks.

"Oh, wait a minute... Could it be that you miss her, Ethan?" I heard Nathan suddenly asked that made me glared at him. What was he thinking!? I was about to speak once again when Dylan suddenly speaks.

"Yes, that's right. I miss her every minute, Nathan." Dylan answered before returning his attention to me and smile once again. W-what?

"Whoa!" I heard those people around us said that in unison. E-eh!? I was about to speak when Dylan suddenly held my hand while still looking at me.

"Let's go now?" I heard Dylan said before he gently pulled me to walk beside him but wait… Why does my heart is beating so fast right now? Wait… This is weird… I was in deep thoughts when I suddenly heard Dylan speaks.

"Are you okay?" I heard Dylan asked that made me turn to look at him once again. What?

"Huh?" I asked in confusion. What does that mean?

"You almost collapsed just now and you look so pale the moment I saw you. Did something happen?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked seriously.

"I'm just having a headache since this morning but I'm just fine..." I said before he gets paranoid once again and think of things like suicide or something. I saw him turn to look at me as if he's observing me. What's with that?

"Are you really sure?" I heard Dylan asked once again that made me just sighed.

"Yes, it's nothing serious. Believe me." I said that made him just nod as we continue to walk towards our classroom.

We finally arrived at the classroom and just like the usual… We all greeted each other and Dylan was surrounded once again with tons of girls. I couldn't help myself but sigh. They're really lucky that Dylan is not really my boyfriend or else, they will regret getting so close to him like that… Hehehe. Just kidding. I'm a good girl, remember? I was just looking at them when someone suddenly hugged me from behind and when I turn to look at that person… I saw Rachel smiling at me.

"I miss you, Alex!" I heard Rachel said that made me smile.

"I miss you too, Rachel. How are you?" I asked before he sat on Dylan's chair because I think, Rachel already feel that Nathan doesn't like him that's why he's starting to avoid him.

"I'm fine, Alex. How about you? You've been absent for quite a long time already and even Ethan." I heard Rachel asked me that made me just nod. That's right. Dylan and I have been absent because we are preparing for the wedding and obviously, the school still doesn't know about this.

"Are the two of you okay, Alex?" I heard Rachel suddenly asked worriedly that surprised me.

"Yes, of course…" I said. What made him think that we fought? Oh well, nevermind that. I think I should tell her now because I don't think I will be having this chance again to talk to her privately when my crazy cousin comes. Well, he's not hindering us to talk with each other but the aura that he has been showing us makes Rachel and I feel uncomfortable, you know...

"Ahm… Rachel…" I said as I tried to calm myself. What should I say? Oh no… I'm so nervous right now...

"Yes, Alex?" I heard Rachel said that made me took a deep breath. This is it.

"Can you keep a secret?" I asked her that made her nod immediately.

"Of course, Alex especially if it's with you so what is it?" I heard Rachel asked that made me took a deep breath once again. I know that I can trust her… After all, she is my only trusted friend, right?

"I'm getting married, Rachel." I said in a very low voice that made her eyes grew wider.

"What?" She asked in disbelief that made me just nod.

"Wait, don't tell me that you had a fight with Ethan about this? Did Etha knew that you're getting married with your fiance?" I heard Rachel asked worriedly. Oh, that's right. I mentioned to her before about that Shinichirou Martinez.

"No. We didn't fight because of that…" I said and saw her took a deep sigh in relief. Hehehe. Rachel look so funny.

"What do you mean?" I heard Rachel asked me once again. Okay… I opened my bag first and give her the invitations for our engagement party that will be held tomorrow and to our wedding.

"Here." I said while Rachel stares at it.

"An engagement and wedding invitations?" Rachel asked that made me just nod as she opened it and saw her eyes grew wider once again.

"Wha---" She was about to shout again when I immediately stops her as I cover her mouth gently using my hand.

"Please… Don't say it out loud, Rachel…" I said while pleading at her. I saw her nod at me before I released her. Thank goodness.

"Is this true?" I heard Rachel asked while still looking at the invitations.

"Yes, Rachel." I said as I nodded at her.

"Wow. Congratulations, Alex. Wait, does that mean… I am invited?" I heard Rachel said as she hide the invitations on her bag immediately and smiles at me. Oh, Rachel...

"Yes and tomorrow is our engagement party so please come, Rachel." I said as I smiled at her and saw her look at me as if she can't believe what's happening right now.

"Oh my gosh. I will, Alex… Thank you so much!" I heard Rachel said as she hugs me.

"You're welcome…" I said while hugging my one and only best friend. I couldn't stop myself from smiling. I feel so relieved that I finally able to tell this to my one and only best friend because even though that this was all just a fake marriage… I still want it to celebrate with the people I love the most.
