ANNE ALEXANDRIA CHLOE's POV

I am now here in my room while waiting for my hair to get done. It's a curly hair messy bun hairstyle that suits perfectly with my red below the knee long sleeves chinese collar dress but why do I feel so empty right now? I couldn't help myself but wonder… Am I doing the right thing? I actually don't know what to feel right now but whether I'm doing right now is the right thing or not… I still need to continue this. I just can't let all our efforts go to waste.

"Okay! Finally done!" I heard the hairstylist said as I saw myself in the mirror.

"Thank you so much, Miss Anne." I said before I look at her reflection in the mirror and smiled at her. As expected of one of the best hairstylists in our country.

"It's my p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e, Miss Ramirez." Miss Anne said that made me just nod when my attention was suddenly diverted to the person standing not too close at my room's door and there I saw Isaiah staring at me. Hmmm…? What's wrong with him? I saw him suddenly startled when he realized that I was looking at him as well. Hahaha! Look at that… I just smiled at him before he smiled back at me.

"I think I better go now, Miss Ramirez. Again, it's a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to serve you, Miss Ramirez." I heard Miss Anne suddenly said that made me returned my attention to her once again. Oh...

"Thank you as well, Miss Anne." I said as she nodded her head once again while still smiling at me before she bids farewell once again and left the room. I just took a deep sigh again as I sat down once again. Finally, it's finished. Oh my goodness… My shoulders feel so stiff.

"How are you feeling, Lady Chloe? Are you okay?" I heard Isaiah suddenly asked that made me returned my attention to him and saw him walking closer to me.

"I'm doing just fine so far… Thanks for asking, Isaiah." I said playfully at him that made Isaiah smile even more while shaking his head. Hahaha! Our attention was suddenly diverted when someone knocks on the door and there I saw Isaiah walked towards the door to open it. Hmmm…? I wonder who's that? I look at myself in the mirror once again. Miss Anne is really a great hairstylist.

"My Lady..." I heard Isaiah said that brought my attention back at him before he opens the door and there I saw my future fake husband to be enters the room.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him while he's walking closer to me. Dylan is just wearing a simple suit but it totally suits him and believe it or not, it makes him even more handsome. Hmmm…? Is this really him?

"I'm here to pick up my beautiful fiance." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me chuckle. Oh geez. I didn't know that he's now flirting with me. Hahaha!

"Seriously?" I asked while still smiling widely that made him just nod as he continues to smile at me.

"Of course… So, shall we go now, Chloe? I heard Dylan suddenly as he offers his hand on me that I gladly accepted it as I stood up while he gently hold my hand.

"Are you okay, Chloe?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked me that made me just nod while still calming myself. Geez. I'm not actually this nervous a while ago but for some reason, I don't know why but the moment I stepped in here inside the hall starts making me nervous. Goodness… What's happening to me?

"I'm fine, Dylan. Don't worry." I said as I assured him that I'm just fine. Anyways, the party has just started and we're starting to eat now because we will give our speech later…

"But you're not eating anything..." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me took a deep sigh once again. I'm actually starting to feel uneasy right now. Maybe because of too much anxiety that I am feeling right now? I don't know but I think I need to breathe some fresh air...

"Do you want to go outside for a while to breathe some air, Chloe?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked that made me returned my attention to him and saw him looking at me with so much worries in his eyes.

"Yes, please." I said as I tried to smile at him. I wonder why did he suddenly asked me that but right now I really need to breathe some fresh air to clear my mind and to calm myself as well.

"Okay, let's go now while they're still busy." I heard Dylan suddenly said while smiling at me before he held my hand and as we both walked towards the balcony here in the hall. I honestly don't know why I suddenly felt so nervous right now when in fact everything that has been happening right now is just a play.

"Thank you, Dylan…" I said as I finally calm down myself. Silence can really helps me to feel relaxed and think better.

"That was nothing, Chloe…" I heard Dylan suddenly said while simply standing here beside me.

"Dylan..." I said while still looking at the beautiful night sky. It's so calm and peaceful… How I wish that my life is also the same as this beautiful night sky...

"Hmmm…?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked while looking at the night sky as well.

"It's getting nearer…" I said while still looking at the night sky that made him returned his attention to me.

"Hmmm…? What do you mean?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked in confusion that made me sigh before I turned to look at him once again.

"Our wedding…" I said while still looking at him seriously that made him furrowed his brows.

"What about that, Chloe?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked in confusion.

"Nothing. I just can't believe that I'm actually getting married in a few months from now, Dylan." I said while still looking at him. Yes, that's right. We only have 2 months before our wedding and to be honest, I couldn't stop myself from feeling nervous because even though that everything that is happening right is just a play… I can still feel the pressure and nervous as time goes by...

"No, you're not." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me furrowed my brows. Huh?

"What do you mean?" I asked him in confusion. What? I don't get him...

"Have you forgotten that this is just a fake marriage, Chloe?" I heard Dylan said while looking at the night sky. Yes, I know that but...

"I know that but it feels so real to me…" I said as I turned to look at the night sky once again.

"Everything feels so real to me except for our feelings towards each other…" I said seriously that made him took a short glance at me. I wonder if I really made the right decision to marry Dylan...

"Chloe..." My attention was suddenly diverted when I heard Dylan suddenly called me after we stayed silent for quite a long while but wait, why is he looking at me with those serious gaze?

"Hmmm…?" I asked curiously. I wonder what's running on his mind right now… I was about to ask him once again when Dylan finally speaks.

"This kind of relationship that we have right now may be just temporary but I want you to remember that I will always be here by your side even though our contract ended…" I heard Dylan said seriously while still looking at me straight in my eyes that made my heart skip a beat. W-what's with that?

"Why are you telling me this?" I asked him while still looking at him in confusion. What does he mean by that?

"Because you are my friend and Xander's beloved sister." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me emotional. I couldn't help myself but took a deep breath as I calm myself before I returned my attention to him once again.

"Thank you, Dylan…" I said as I gently smiled at him. I know that we met in a very unexpected situation but I couldn't help myself but feel thankful that I've met Dylan that night because I gained another friend whom I can trust.

"Shall we go back inside now?" I heard Dylan suddenly said that brought me back to reality. Oh, that's right. The party isn't over yet. I just nodded at him.

"Okay…" I said before we held each others hand as we both went back inside the hall.

"Do you feel cold? Want to wear my coat?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked while we're walking beside each other. I just shook my head.

"No." I simply said that made him turned to look at me and saw him in my peripheral vision furrowed his brows. Hmmm…? Why? What's wrong?

"Hey, why are you always rejecting me every time I offer you my coat or jacket? What's wrong with you?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked irritatedly that made me stopped. Hmmm…? When did I--Oh, that's right… I couldn't stop myself from smiling before I turned to look at him again.

"Because it's you, Dylan." I told him while smiling at him that made him arched his brows. Hahaha! Look at that face.

"What's with that?" I heard Dylan asked in confusion that made me chuckle. Hahaha! He's in the middle of lecturing me when we suddenly saw Isaiah together with my brother walking towards our direction.

"Where did the two of you go?" My brother asked as soon as he gets closer to us. Hmmm…? Why does he sound so serious?

"At the balcony. Why? What's wrong? Did something happen, Xander?" I heard Dylan asked continuously that made my brother just sighed and shook his head. Then what's his problem?

"It's time for your final speech." My brother said seriously that made me nervous once again. Oh no… I forgot about the speech. What should I do? I forgot what should I say!

"Don't worry. I'll be the one to do that." I heard Dylan suddenly said as he gently pat my head. I just nodded at him before we go back there. I don't know why I'm so nervous right now just because of a speech but when I heard Dylan's voice just now somewhat calms me down. We are now here at the stage once again as we will finally give our finally speech for tonight. Oh no… Dylan, I'm relying on you this one. Please do your best!

"Hello, everyone. Good evening." Dylan said so politely as he smiles to everyone while still holding my hand. Oh no… They're staring at us… They are all staring at us now! I'm starting to panic once again when I suddenly felt Dylan's gazed at me that made me turn to look at him and saw him looking at me with so much gentleness as if he's giving me an assurance. I saw him nod at me before returning his attention to everyone.

"First of all, we want to thank all of you who comes here in our engagement party tonight. We are very happy to see our loved ones to be here tonight and this party wouldn't be completed without everyone of you especially to our beloved friends here who has been supporting us since the very beginning." I heard Dylan said so professionally as if he already done this before… I saw Dylan waved at his friends on that table not too far from us and there I also saw my best friend, Rachel looking at us with teary eyes. Oh come on, Rachel… Don't make me cry as well.

"We also want to thank our family, especially to my future father-in-law and mother-in-law, uncle Alexis and aunt Christine for allowing and giving me a chance to love and to take care of your daughter for the rest of our lives…" I heard Dylan said to my parents who have been smiling ever since Dylan started speaking. Wait, did dad just smiled just now? I saw my parents simply nodded their heads while mom is wiping her tears. Oh, mom...

"And to my siblings who has been very supportive of our relationship and of course to my best friend and soon to be my brother-in-law for letting me live after I stole his beloved sister from him. Thank you, guys." Dylan said that made the crowd chuckled even me as well that made him turn to look at me as he smiled at me once again before returning his attention to them.

"Once again, thank you so much for coming to our engagement party, everyone and we hope to see you all again but this time is to celebrate our wedding that will be happening very soon." Dylan said as he continues his speech. I actually don't know how long we've been standing here already and how long have I been stayed silent while simply looking at this amazing person beside me making a speech. I don't know why but knowing that Dylan will become my husband or fake husband until the time comes that we have to end our contract makes me feel at ease because somehow I know that I'm in good hands…
