ANNE ALEXANDRIA CHLOE's POV

"Hmmm!" I said as I stretched both of my hands onto the air before I looked at the wall clock here in the room. Oh, I overslept because it's already 10:34 in the morning. Seriously? Hahaha! Anyways, it's been two days already since Dylan and I got married and as soon as the ceremony and the reception party ended, we immediately traveled to Paris for our three days honeymoon. Yes, you heard it right. We are now on our honeymoon here in Paris and to be honest, I really enjoyed it because ever since we got here, all I did was go shopping, go touring around and watched some movies together with Dylan! It's really fun especially when we did the shopping part because we don't have any chaperones with us so Dylan must carry all the things that I bought and to be honest, he's always complaining to me. Hahaha! Anyways, tomorrow is our flight back to our country so we both decided not to go anywhere today because that will just tire ourselves especially when we're having an early flight tomorrow. Oh, and by the way, we are currently staying here at 'Ramilan Hotel' and obviously, this hotel is one of the business of 'Ramilan Empire'. Isn't that great?

"Oh, you're awake?" My attention was suddenly diverted when the door of our room suddenly opened and there I saw Dylan holding a tray with so many delicious foods.

"Yeah. I just woke up." I said as I saw him simply nodded his head before he walked closer to me while holding that tray.

"Did you make this?" I asked and saw him nod his head.

"Yes because I'm already hungry and my wife is still sleeping and because I love my wife too much… I didn't wake her up but instead, I made her breakfast as well." I heard Dylan suddenly said while still smiling at me as he placed the on the bed just beside me.

"Wait… Are you trying to make me feel guilty, Mister Dylan La Flair?" I asked while smiling at him as I saw him sat on the bed as well before I got the bread on the tray and took a bite. Oh, wait… Why does it taste so fresh?

"Hey, did you bake this as well?" I asked him while chewing the bread as I saw him slowly nodding his head while still looking at me… Oh really?

"Seriously?" I asked him in disbelief that made him chuckled. Is that really true?

"Of course, it's true. I spent a couple of hours just to make this breakfast, okay? So don't doubt my skills." I heard Dylan said as if he's boasting about his cooking skills on me that made me smile. Oh geez. Look at that face while he's explaining to me. He's explaining to me with all his might. Hahaha!

"And don't ever forget also that I am personally taking care of my siblings ever since our parents and sister passed away." I heard Dylan said once again that made me just nod at while still smiling at him.

"Okay, fine. Why are you so serious about it anyway?" I asked before I took a bite on the onion bread once again while I'm still looking at him. Oh, let me try these pancakes as well.

"Of course because I'm proud of my skills so you should learn from me, okay?" I heard Dylan said as I tried the pancakes. Oh, it's yummy! I really love breakfast in bed the most!

"You're right." I said before I took a bite once again. Anyways, back when I was a kid, I remember that I used to have breakfast in bed made by my dearest mom who cooks like a real cook and I really do love it! Oh my ~ I'm starting to miss my mom's cooking now ~

"How about you?" I asked him while still munching. Oh my ~ It's really yummy. Well, I know that Dylan knows how to cook but I didn't expect him to be this good. I saw him shook his head while still smiling at me.

"I'm done. I already ate a while ago." I heard Dylan said that made me just nod.

"Oh, that's right. Your brother called me a while ago and asked me if you're doing just fine here." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me return my attention to him once again. Oh, brother called?

"What did you say?" I asked before I drank the milk. Oh, the milk is so refreshing ~

"Well, I told him that you're doing great and when we come back tomorrow… He should expect that another member will be added to our family." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made my eyes grew wider in shock. What!?

"What the! Did you really say that to him?" I asked him in disbelief when he suddenly laughed and slowly nodded his head. Really!?

"I did but he just yelled at me through the phone. Oh, wait... He's actually cursing me when I say that to him." I heard Dylan said that made me laugh as well. This guy is really crazy but very brave at the same time too. Hahaha!

"Because you are crazy." I said while suppressing my laughter before I took a bite on my onion bread once again. Oh geez. I can't believe that he will really tease my brother like that and knowing brother, I know that he can't be able to sleep not until we return there safely because of what this person had told him… And when that happens, I'm sure you are dead, Dylan. Hahaha!

"Hahaha! Actually, I'm scared to go back tomorrow because of what he might do to me." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me smile even more. Oh, so you're starting to regret what you did to my brother? Hahaha! But it's too late already. Hahaha!

"You deserved it." I said while still smiling at him that made him return his attention to me and saw him furrowed his brows. Pfffft. Hahaha!

"What? You should support me all the time, my wife. Don't let your brother take away your husband." I heard Dylan said that made me stop from eating. Wait… What did he just call me?

"What's wrong, Chloe? Are you not feeling well?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked worriedly that brought me back to my senses.

"Dylan…" I said as I call his name.

"What?" I heard Dylan asked me that made me just took a deep sigh before I started speaking once again.

"Will you please stop calling me that already?" I said seriously that made him looked at me in confusion. I just took a deep breath before I drank my milk again. I don't know why but the moment I heard him call me that… I suddenly remembered the first person who called me that before...

"Okay, fine. I won't repeat it again, okay? I heard Dylan said seriously that made me just nod. It's not that I'm mad or anything because I know that Dylan doesn't know about that anyway but… I don't know why it's still hurting me every time I remember Christian… I don't know why but I still love him so much.

"By the way, do you want to go somewhere today?" I heard Dylan suddenly said that brought me back to my senses. Huh?

"But I thought that we're gonna stay here today?" I said as I turn to look at him once again but this time… He looks even more serious than a while ago.

"Well… I just thought that you might still want to go somewhere today. How about we go to a Fine Dine Restaurant later or watch some movies?" I heard Dylan suggested that made me just shook my head before I leaned my back on the headboard of the bed.

"No, I'm fine." I said. I don't know why but I suddenly lost my appetite.

"Are you sure, Chloe?" I heard Dylan asked once again that made me just nod.

"Yes." I simply said as memories of Christian suddenly flash in my mind. All those happy moments that we both shared together… Now, I couldn't stop myself from thinking… Why? Why did we end just like this? D-did I really chose the wrong choice?

"You've been silent for quite long now, Chloe…" I was brought back in my senses when I suddenly heard Dylan's voice from beside me.

"Huh?" I asked as I returned my attention to him once again and there I saw Dylan looking at me seriously.

"What were you thinking?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked me that made me confused. Huh?

"Why are you asking me that again? Aren't you getting tired of it already?" I asked him before I get the bread once again and took a bite on it. He's asking me that again so that means, he is worried that I might do something that can hurt me once again. Does he really not trust me at all? Geez. To be honest, every time I heard them asked me that… I couldn't stop myself but get irritated because I only did it once, okay? That doesn't mean, I will do that again so will they just forget about that and moved on?

"But it's making me nervous every time you stay silent just like that, Chloe..." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me stopped as I returned my attention with him again. What?

"Are you serious?" I asked him in shock as I saw him nodded his head.

"So please answer me. What's on your mind, Chloe?" I heard Dylan asked me once again that made me just took a deep breath as I avoided his gazed at me.

"Fine. I just suddenly remembered Christian when you called me that…" I honestly said to him as I saw him looked at me in shock on my peripheral vision.

"So, you missed him, right?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked me that made me just nod before I returned the bread on the plate as I looked at the ceiling.

"Of course. How could I just forget about him so easily?" I said that made him just nod.

"You're right…" I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me just nod at him as well. Yes, that's right. I still love him so much that it hurts me every time I remember him in everything that I do.

"So what do you want to do after this, Chloe?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked once again that made me returned my attention to him once again but this time, he is now smiling at me just like the usual.

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion. What was that supposed to mean?

"Want to play some board games and watch some movies?" I heard Dylan asked once again as he smiles at me as he crossed his arms on his c.h.e.s.t. Oh...

"Hmmm…? Sounds fun." I said that made me smile. It's been quite a long time now since I last played board games with my brother anyways.

"Okay. I'll just make a call and ask the crew here if they have some board games here. I'll just wait for you outside." Dylan said as I nodded at him before he stood up and get his laptop on top of the table here in the room and he was about to went out of the room when I suddenly remembered something that's why I called him.

"Ahm, Dylan…" I said that made him turned to look at me once again.

"What is it, Chloe?" I heard Dylan asked that made me gulped because my heart starts to beat so fast once again. Oh geez. Why am I feeling so nervous right now?

"Ahm… Thanks for the breakfast, Dylan." And there I finally said. Goodness. That's the only thing I say but it's making my heart beat so fast in so much nervousness. I couldn't stop myself from sighing once again. I think I really should go to a doctor for a check up.

"You're welcome, Chloe. Just always remember that I'm here for you anytime you need me, okay?" I heard Dylan said that made me stopped while I'm still looking at him in surprise. I know that but I still couldn't stop myself from feeling happy because even though Christian and I already broke up… There's still someone else aside from my family and Rachel who cares for me and that's him… My contracted husband, Dylan La Flair...
