I'm currently cleaning the table here in the living room when the doorbell suddenly rings. Oh, that must be someone that I talked to over the phone. I walked towards the door and before I opened it, I looked at hole first saw a guy holding a board game that I asked a while ago.

"Hello. Good morning." I said as I finally opened the door and there I saw this guy looking at me.

"Good morning, sir. I'm here to deliver this to Mister Dylan La Flair." I heard this guy said that made me just nod before I introduced myself to him.

"Yes, that's me. Thank you for your help." I said that made him just nod before giving it to me.

"It's our p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to help our guest, sir." I heard this guy said that made me just nod as I smiled at him. I thanked him once again before I closed the door and brought it to the living room so that we could play while watching some movies. Oh, wait… Where is she anyway? What took her so long? Hmmm…? Maybe I'll just wait for her a little longer. Oh, that's right! I have to prepare some snacks so that we can also eat while playing and watching, right? I walked towards the kitchen of this hotel room to get some ch.i.p.s, dressings and popcorn because I don't know what Chloe wants anyway. I am now walking back towards the living room when the phone in the hotel room suddenly rings. Hmmm…? Who could that be? I placed the snacks on the table first before answering it.

"Hello?" I asked politely when…

[WHY THE HELL ARE YOU NOT ANSWERING YOUR PHONE, LA FLAIR!?] This person said as he yelled at me that made me distance the phone to my ears. What's with this guy?

"I'm doing something right now and I think I left it on the room.…" I said as I suddenly realized that I left my phone at the room when I brought Chloe a breakfast a while ago.

[WHAT!? AND WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW?] I heard Xander yell at me once again that made me furrowed my brows.

"Will you please stop shouting at me already, Ramirez? Why did you call anyway?" I asked a bit irritatedly. What's wrong with this guy anyway? Did he just call just to yell at me? Tsk. I heard him sighed on the other line first before I heard speak again.

[Where's Chloe? I have to talk to her right now... I have to confirm everything that you have told me a while ago!] Xander said angrily that made me stop. What?

"Are you serious, Xander? Do you really think I can do that? Haven't you realized that I was just joking when I said that to you?" I asked him continuously. What the hell was that? Did he just lose his trust in me? Did he forget that I am his best friend and I can't do something like that to him especially to Chloe?

[Are you serious?] I heard Xander said but now with a more calm voice. I just took a deep sigh first before nodding my head.

"Charles Alexander Ramirez… I am not that crazy to do those things, okay? We're not a real couple in the first place." I said before I sat down on the couch here. I don't know what's running on his mind right now but honestly, I didn't like the fact that he acted like he just lost his trust in me.

[Ah… You're right… You are my friend, after all.] Xander said as if he just realized it. What? So did he just forget that I am his best friend!? I couldn't stop myself from sighing before I started to speak again.

"So what is it? Do you need something?" I asked a bit irritatedly. Sometimes, I really can't believe that he became my best friend.

[Ah, no. Actually, I also want to remind you about something, Dylan.] I heard Xander suddenly said that made me curious. Huh?

"What's that?" I asked him curiously. About what?

[Chloe is still s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e about anything related to Christian so please avoid mentioning that b*stard's name or do something that will remind her of him, okay? Do you understand?] I heard Xander said on the other line that made me stop. Wait… Just a moment ago… Did Chloe just mention to me that he suddenly remembers Christian when I called her… My wife?

[Hello? Dylan, are you still there?] I was brought back to my senses when I heard Xander's voice once again.

"Yes. Of course…" I said before I turned to look at the wall clock here and saw that it's already been an hour since I left Chloe in the room. I don't know why but that made me suddenly feel nervous just now.

[Hey, are you even listening to me?] I heard Xander asked me once again that brought me back to my senses once again. What?

"Ahm, Xander… I think I need to hang up already. Talk to you later." I said while my gaze was suddenly diverted to the room.

[Wait! What's happen---] I heard Xander said but he could no longer finish his sentence when I suddenly ended the call and walked towards the room.

"Chloe…?" I asked as I started to knock on the door but no one answered me. Maybe she's changing her clothes, right? Yeah, that must be it.

"Chloe, are you done? The board game is already here. Come out now." I said once again as I knocked on the door again but still… No one answered me but I still waited for a few minutes more before I started knocking again.

"Hey… Chloe, I forgot my phone there and I really need to contact someone right now. Can you please hand me my cell phone for a while?" I said once again as I continued to knock on the door but no one still answered me and that's time I start to panic.

"Chloe…" I said as I called her name while still knocking on the door and trying to turn the door knob but it's locked! Why the hell is it locked!?

"Hey!" I said as I started to knock one the door a little louder than a while ago. Come on… Open the door, Chloe...

"Hey! Do you hear me? Chloe, open the door!" I said as I continued to knock. Oh come on! If you still didn't open it then I have left with no choice but to destroy this damn door right now!

"Chloe... CHLOE!" I said as I shouted because I could no longer control my voice. What the hell! Why is she not opening this damn door!? What's happening to you, Chloe!?

ANNE ALEXANDRIA CHLOE's POV

"Chloe... CHLOE!" I am now sitting here in bed while my hand is supporting my head because the moment I woke up just a few minutes ago because of this loud banging on the door… My head suddenly hurts like it will torn into two pieces. Goodness… Why did I fall asleep after I ate my breakfast a while ago anyway? Geez. But it's getting better now… Not until I heard Dylan's voice shouting outside the door.

"OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR NOW! CHLOE!" I heard Dylan said that made my head twitch in pain. My gosh. It really hurts.

"CHLOE!" I heard his voice once again. Goodness. What is wrong with him?

"Wait…" I said as I stood up slowly before I slowly walked towards the door while my hand was supporting my head. Geez. What happened to me anyway?

"CHLOE---" I heard Dylan was about to yell once again when I suddenly opened the door and there I saw him standing in front of me.

"What? What's wrong with you?" I asked as I slowly looked at him. Huh? Why is his face so worried right now? Did something happen?

"What happened? Why aren't you answering me? And what happened to your head?" I heard Dylan asked me continuously, which made me just took a deep breath.

"I don't know. It just hurts the moment I woke up a while ago." I said that made him arched his brow.

"Huh?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked.

"Well, I just fell asleep and woke up with your loud voice and knocks, Dylan." I honestly told him that made him took a deep breath as if he was relieved about something. Huh?

"I'm sorry… I was just worried." I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me furrowed my brows. What?

"You know what? Stop overthinking things already. I'm fine, okay? I just fell asleep after I ate my breakfast." I told him that made him furrowed his brows.

"What? You fall asleep right after you eat? What's with that?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked in disbelief. I just took a deep breath as I slowly nod my head.

"Maybe because I slept late last night." I said as I turned to look at him and saw him looking at me in disbelief.

"But you also woke up late today." I heard Dylan said that made me just sigh.

"Geez. Stop nagging already, Dylan. So where's the board game that you've mentioned to me a while ago?" I said and asked as I diverted our conversation. I saw him took a deep sigh first before he pointed out the living room.

"It's in the living room already." I heard Dylan said that made me just nod.

"Oh, so let's go then." I said before I started to walk. My head still hurts but I think I can handle it already. The pain is tolerable anyway. All my thoughts were interrupted when Dylan suddenly held my hand that made me return my attention to him once again.

"Are you really sure you're okay, Chloe?" I heard Dylan asked me once again that made me stop as I saw him looking at me worriedly. I just smiled at him as I gently tapped his hand.

"Thanks for worrying about me but I'm really just fine, Dylan. Don't you have trust in me?" I asked while still smiling at him. Well, it's not that I don't that I'm mad at him or what… I'm just trying to lighten the mood actually because he looks so serious right now. I saw him took a deep breath first before returning his gaze at me.

"Look, Chloe... It's not that I don't have trust in you, okay? But you are now my wife." I heard Dylan said seriously that made my heart skip a beat. W-wait… W-what did he just said? I suddenly saw him took a deep sigh before looking back at me once again.

"What I mean is... We are at least legally married in front of everyone, right?" Dylan suddenly said that made me just nod my head while still looking at him. Yes, I know that but I still don't get why he is so worried like that...

"Anyways, we are not talking about whether we are legally married or not but the fact that your brother… No, your whole family entrusted you to me means you are now part of my responsibility since I have agreed to become your fake boyfriend turns husband, right?" I heard Dylan suddenly said that made me just took a deep breath.

"I understand what you're trying to say but have you already forgotten who I am, Dylan?" I asked him before I smiled at him.

"I am Chloe Ramirez, the only daughter of the Ramirez and I may have done something crazy like that but I can assure you that it will never happen again." I simply said told him as I saw him smile while shaking his head.

"Fine. If you say so, Mrs. Chloe La Flair." I heard Dylan said that made me just smile as I shook my head before we walked towards the living room together.. This guy is really something. He can easily switch from being serious to being a bully. Hahaha!
