ANNE ALEXANDRIA CHLOE's POV

And now we're back here in the car now as we continue heading towards the place where Dylan wanted to show me. And as the car continues to move, the trees that I'm seeing are getting fewer and fewer until I saw an open field. Wait, is this the place already? I was about to ask him when he suddenly stopped the car and turned to look at me.

"We're here." I heard Dylan said that made me just nod before I unbuckled my seat belt and was about to open the door when Dylan opened it for me. Oh, I didn't notice that he already went out.

"Are you always this gentleman, Dylan?" I suddenly asked out of curiosity that made Dylan surprised.

"What do you mean?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked as he gently held my hand.

"I'm asking you if you're really a gentleman or was it part of our act?" I asked him that made him smiled as he shook his head.

"Well… It's not that I'm doing this because of our deal but my father once told me before that we should always respect women." Dylan said as we walked while he's still holding my hand. Really?

"But you know what? Many people mistaken me as a playboy because of that, especially those guys out there." I heard Dylan said seriously that made me furrowed my brows. What?

"What made you think that? Did they tell you that personally?" I asked because maybe that's not what they actually think about him right?

"Yes. Actually, the reason why I knew about that is because one of my classmates from my previous school told me that personally." I heard Dylan suddenly said as we walked towards the cliff. Wait, are we on a mountain or something?

"He did that?" I asked as we finally stopped walking and saw him looked at the sky that made me turn to look as well and saw that there were so many stars in the sky. Oh, wow… I have never seen so many stars in the sky before.

"Yes." I heard Dylan said while we're still looking at the sky. Oh, really? That person has some nerves.

"Tsk. If I know… That person might be just jealous of you." I said while still looking at the sky. Seriously… Whoever that person is… He might be really jealous of him because it's pretty rare nowadays that someone like Dylan exists.

"Do you really think so?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked that made me turn to look at him and saw him looking at me seriously that surprised me. W-why is he looking at me like that?

"Yes and I'm very sure about that." I said while still looking at him that made him just nod while shaking his head before he looked up at the sky once again.

"You're really funny, Chloe." I heard Dylan said and now, he is smiling while his hair is being flown by the air.

"What are you talking about? Anyways, what are we doing here anyway?" I said and asked him while he's still looking up at the sky. Is he here to see the stars? Well, I must admit that the stars here are so beautiful but isn't it too late already to come here? And we still have a flight tomorrow afternoon so… I wonder why we are here now...

"Aside from you can see a lot of stars here because we're now on top of a mountain..." Dylan simply said while still looking at the sky. Really?

"So we're really on top of a mountain right now?" I asked because if yes then this is the first time I have experienced being on top of a mountain. I saw him looked at me as he nodded his head.

"Yes, that's right and you can shout anything that you want to say here." Dylan suddenly said while smiling at me that made me stop. What?

"And nobody will ever hear what you will say except for me." Dylan said while we're still looking at each other. Wait… Could it be that… We came here because of me? Because of what happened a while ago?

"Go ahead. Shout as much as you like, Chloe including the painful memories that you want to leave here in Paris." I heard Dylan said that made me stop. So it's really for me? I just smiled at him before I diverted my attention to him and looked at the sky.

"Why don't you go ahead first, Dylan?" I told him that while smiling that made him furrowed his brows. Hahaha!

"Why me?" I heard Dylan suddenly asked that made me turned to look at him as I tried to stop myself from laughing.

"Because you told me a while ago that you are also stressed, right?" I told him as I continued to smile at him that made him take a deep sigh before smiling and looked at our surroundings.

"Okay, fine. You win." I heard Dylan said before he took a deep breath and shouted as loud as he could.

"THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL THINK ABOUT YOU!" Dylan shouted and this is actually the first time I have heard him shouted but wait… Who is he talking about?

"Who's that?" I asked him but I don't know if he ignored me or he didn't hear what I just said as he shouted once again.

"THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL EVER LOVE YOU!" I heard Dylan said so loudly that surprised me. What?

"Hey, who are you talking about? Hey, Dylan." I said before I held his arm that made him turn to look at me again and I was so shocked to see his eyes… I… I can clearly see the sadness and pain in his eyes right now… Now, I wonder who is that person who hurted Dylan… I was about to ask him again when Dylan suddenly spoke.

"I'm talking about my first love. Now, it's your turn, Chloe." Dylan said seriously while he's still smiling at me but I'm still not done yet asking him!

"What about your first love? What happened to both of you, Dylan?" I asked once again as I saw him shook his head while still smiling before he removed his hoodie. What?

"Come on, stop asking already. It's your turn now, Chloe." I heard Dylan said before he placed his hoodie jacket on my back.

"No, I'm fine." I said and was about to remove it when Dylan stops me.

"Again? Did I already told you before that stop rejecting me every time I will offer you my jacket. I don't have any disease for you to reject me all the time…" I heard Dylan said seriously before he placed it on my back and stood beside me once again.

"But I'm really fine. How about you?" I asked worriedly. The wind here is so cold. I'm worried that he might get sick because of it.

"I'm fine. Don't worry too much about me." I heard Dylan said before he crossed his arms on his c.h.e.s.t. Will he really be alright?

"Why are you being so serious all of a sudden anyway?" I asked before I fixed his hoodie on my back that made him chuckled.

"Because I just said that I will stop thinking about her, right? So stop asking already because it's your turn now." I heard Dylan said once again that it made my lips pout.

"Alright…" I said before I looked straight as I took a deep breath before I shouted.

"I HATE YOU!" I said as loudly as I could to the point that it echoes around us.

"I HATE YOU, CHRISTIAN!" I shouted once again as I started to recall all our memories… Both happy and sad memories… All of it...

"I HATE YOU SO MUCH, CHRISTIAN!" I shouted once again as I felt that my heart started to pound so loud in my c.h.e.s.t as if it would burst out any moment now. I hate you… I hate you so much, Christian… I really despised you, Christian but why…?

"I HATE YOU WHY DO I STILL LOVE YOU UNTIL NOW!?" I asked as loudly as I could once again as my tears started to fall down in my eyes. Why? Why up until now… I still love you so much? Why do I still love you even though you hurted me so many times already, Christian?

"I… I can't believe it… That until now, I still love you, Christian…" I said as I tried to stop my tears from falling down in my eyes but I couldn't… My heart… My mind… Until now, my heart and mind still belongs to you and I still don't know why I still love you, Christian!? I'm just standing here while still crying when I suddenly felt Dylan held my arm and pulled me towards him as hugged me.

"It's alright, Chloe…" I heard Dylan said while still hugging me.

"I'm sorry but I-I just can't stop it…" I said while still crying and again, I'm crying in his arms once again. I felt him take a deep breath before c.a.r.e.s.sing my hair.

"It's fine. Although I already told you not to cry anymore because of him, it's partly my fault why you're crying right now so it's alright to cry, Chloe. I will let you cry because of him one last time." I heard Dylan said while still hugging me tightly. I don't know why but every time Dylan was hugging me… I feel so safe. I feel that no one can harm me just like how my brother protects me. I really didn't expect that I will be meeting someone as great as Dylan.

"Listen to me, Chloe…" I heard Dylan said before he distance himself to me as he gently tucked my hair on my ear before he wiped my tears using his thumb.

"The reason why I brought you here is not because I want you to remember him and cry because of him once again." Dylan said while still looking at me seriously that made me stop. Dylan…

"But instead, I want the both of us to leave all our painful memories that we had experienced caused by those people we used to love here in Paris." Dylan said as he continued what he was saying while we're still looking at each other. Leave...all our memories here in Paris?

"Let's leave it all here before we return tomorrow, alright? Because it will be easier to live happily together with those people who loved and treasures you than to live with regrets and loneliness caused by those people who hurted us." Dylan said as he smiled at me while I'm still looking at him. Dylan...

"Let us let go of the past together tonight, Chloe." I heard Dylan said once again as if he's waiting for my answer. I just took a deep sigh as I smiled at him and gently nodded my head.

"Thank you so much, Dylan." I said as I smiled at him that made him just nod while still smiling at me.

"Anything for you, my wife." Dylan suddenly said that made the both of us chuckled. Come to think of it… Who would have thought that I could find a very good friend and a brother in one person?

"Well then… Thank you so much for your concern and unconditional love for me, my husband." I said as I teased him as well that made the both of us laugh. I never thought that our fake marriage would become like this… I just really hope that after our contract ends… We could still be friends who will always be there to support each other.
