ANNE ALEXANDRIA CHLOE's POV

"Dylan… From now on, please take good care of our daughter. She may be demanding and spoiled brat sometimes but she's still our precious and only daughter of Ramirez. I hope that you'll understand, love and take care of her." I heard my mom said while walking with us towards Dylan's car. Honestly, I wanted to react right now because mom's being so mean to me in front of Dylan but I must admit that mom's not lying when she said that.

"I already know that, mother and please do not worry because I promise you that I will always protect her." I heard Dylan said while walking beside me. Oh well… That's because my brother will definitely get mad at you if you didn't. Hahaha!

"I'm so glad to hear that. And you, Chloe. You should take good care of your husband, okay? Don't be so stubborn." I heard my mom suddenly said that made me pout my lips. Why does mom sound like her child who just got married is Dylan and not me?

"Of course, mom. I will definitely take care of him and of course, his siblings as well." I said while still walking beside them that made Dylan smile even more.

"Oh my! Our Chloe is finally getting mȧturėd!" I heard sister Lily suddenly said while walking behind us together with brother Charles. Oh and by the way, dad left us as soon as we finished eating lunch a while ago because of an urgent meeting that he has to attend to that's why he's not here with us right now.

"What are you talking about, sister Lily? I'm already the young heiress of the Ramirez Family." I said while still smiling when I suddenly heard my crazy brother suddenly speak.

"Hmmm… I believe not, my dearest sister." I heard my brother suddenly said that made me furrow my brows as I stopped from walking and turned to look at him. Huh?

"How dare you, brother!" I said as I glared at him which made Dylan shook his head while mom, sister Lily and brother laughed at me.

"Hahaha! Anyways, may I talk to Dylan before you go?" I heard my brother suddenly said that made me crossed my arms on my ċhėst.

"Okay." I said. Seriously? I bet you're just running away, brother.

"I'll be back." I heard Dylan suddenly said while still smiling at me that made me just nod before he and my brother started to walk away from us.

"Seems like your brother will give him some lectures." I heard my mom suddenly said that caught immediately caught my attention. Hmmm?

"What do you mean, mom?" I asked mom curiously but mom and sister Lily just exchanged glances before they both smiled at me. Huh? What's that supposed to mean?

DYLAN ETHANIEL's POV

"Why? What is this all about, Xander?" I asked as we finally reached their garden. I wonder what he will tell me right now.

"I'm warning you, Dylan. Don't ever lay a finger on my sister." Xander suddenly said so fiercely that surprised me. What did he just say?

"Wait a minute��� What? Are you serious about that, Xander? What do you think of me? And I already made a promise with you, right?" I said before taking a deep breath while still looking at him. Is he serious? What's gotten into him to suddenly say that to me? He knows that more than anyone else, I will never lay a finger on her sister so why does this jerk suddenly say that?

"Just don't ever dare to lay a finger on her or else..." Xander said seriously while still glaring at me that made me just sighed as I put my arm on his shoulders.

"Xander, don't be ridiculous, okay? You know more than anyone else that we still can't do it now because we're still studying." I simply said that made Xander suddenly push me so hard. WHAT's WITH THAT!?

"What!? Are you making fun of---" Xander said so angrily but was interrupted when I suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled him closer to me. .

"Shut up, will you?" I said seriously that made him stop. Is this guy really crazy? Did he just forget where we are right now?

"What? And why are you whispering anyway?" Xander asked in confusion that made me took a deep sigh.

"You're really crazy, are you? For confronting me here inside your own family's mansion?" I said irritatedly that made his eyes widen in shock. For pete's sake… Did he just realize what he did just now?

"Do you really want us to get discovered?" I asked as I finally calmed down a bit.

"Oh, I forgot about that…" I heard Xander suddenly said that made me sigh once again. Tsk. This guy is really annoying sometimes.

"Geez. I really can't believe you." I said as I distance myself with him while still speaking to him in a very low voice.

"And for the record, Xander. I have my own preferences when it comes to women, you know." I said as I brushed my fingers through my hair. Did he really think that I would take advantage of his sister? For goodness sake! I also have a younger sister, you know...

"Wait a minute… Are you saying that you don't like Chloe?" I heard Xander suddenly asked me which made me return my attention to him once again. What?

"Why? Do you want me to like her, Xander?" I asked him seriously that made him throw a glare at me.

"Of course not!" Xander said in disagreement. Oh well, I don't think I'll fall in love with her anyway.

"Then stop being so annoying." I said seriously that made him just nod.

"By the way, when are you going to attend school again?" I heard Xander asked once again. Ah, school...

"Tomorrow. We already missed a lot of lessons since we've started preparing for our wedding." I said. Actually, I asked Chloe about that last night because I'm worried that she's still not mentally prepared after all that happened to her but she said that we should return to school right after we came back.

"You're right..." I heard Xander said as he nodded his head.

"Dylan…" Xander called me that made me return my attention to him once again.

"What?" I asked.

"Thank you." I heard Xander suddenly said that made me stop as I smiled at him and tapped his shoulder.

"You know that you can always count on me, right?" I said that made him just nod. No matter what happens, I will protect your sister, Xander. That's a promise.

We've already arrived at the 'La Flair Mansion'. We just went out of the car when Isaiah suddenly approached me.

"Where should I bring this, Dylan?" Isaiah said that made me arched my brow. Seriously… This guy doesn't know how to respect his Young Lady's husband.

"Just go with Peter. He will accompany you to our room." I said as I called on Peter to help him and after I gave them my instructions, I suddenly felt Chloe pulling the hem of my shirt.

"What is it?" I asked as I saw her surprisingly looking at me. What?

"Our room?" I heard Chloe asked that made me just nod.

"Why? What's wrong with that?" I asked that made her eyes widen in shock. What? What's wrong with that?

"W-what do you mean about 'our' room?" Chloe asked in disbelief and shock. Huh?

"We're a married couple, right?" I simply said that made her even more shocked. Come to think of it, she still looks so beautiful and graceful even though she's so shocked like that. Hmmm…? I should ask her to educate my dear Diane about etiquette and manners.

"W-what!? But we're just---" Chloe said and I think I already know what she'll say but good thing she was interrupted when my two adorable siblings came.

"Brother! Sister Chloe!" Diane and Darryl said as soon as the entrance door opened.

"Hello, Diane and Darryl! How have you two been?" I asked as soon as they ran towards us and hugged me.

"We're fine, brother! We missed you so much!" Diane said as she hugged me even more tighter. I couldn't help myself but smile as I hugged my siblings.

"I missed you two so much." I said. It feels like we've been parted for quite a long time when in fact, we're actually not.

"Brother, is it true that you're really going to stay and live with us?" Darryl asked that made me just nod before looking back at Chloe who's simply standing beside me.

"Yes and it's all thanks to your sister Chloe because she agreed with it without even complaining." I said as I smiled at her which made my siblings let go of me and hugged her.

"Uwaaa! Thank you so much, sister Chloe!" Diane and Darryl said that made Chloe startled.

"A-ah… T-that was nothing… After all, you two are now my younger siblings as well." I heard Chloe said as she hugged my siblings back that made me even more smile. Come to think of it, Chloe's the youngest in their family that's why I didn't expect her to be so considerate when it comes to my younger siblings...

"Let's get inside first?" I said that made them all just nod.

"Ahm, sister Chloe… I've heard that you're not just beautiful but also smart! You're also the 'Princess of St. Alfonse Academy', right?" We heard Diane said while we're walking inside. Oh, where did she get that info, huh?

"E-eh? I-i mean, how did you know about that?" Chloe asked in surprise that made me almost laugh. Geez. Aren't you happy that you're so famous, my dear wife?

"I researched about you, sister Chloe." Diane suddenly said while still clinging onto Chloe's arm. Huh?

"R-really?" I heard Chloe suddenly asked that made me surprised as well.

"Yes but to be honest, I'm not convinced with some of the information that I got." Diane said that made Chloe and I look at each other.

"What information, Diane?" I asked seriously which made Diane simply look at us.

"About you, being a mean and snobber, sister Chloe..." Diane said that almost made me burst out laughing. Oh geez. That's honestly true though.

"That's partly true." I said out of the blue that made Chloe glared at me.

"Dylan!" Chloe said that made me chuckle.

"What? I'm just being honest here, okay? But Diane and Darryl, listen to me. Your sister Chloe only did that because there are a lot of people who want to take advantage of her." I said as I turned around to look at them and explain to them.

"What do you mean, brother?" Darryl suddenly asked that made me just tap his shoulder.

"Well… Like, befriending her only for the sake of connections because she's the daughter of Ramirez." I said as I explained to them that made them just nod.

"Is that so, brother?" I heard Darryl said that made me just nod.

"Yeah." I said as I turned to look at Chloe who's simply looking at me.

"Don't worry, sister Chloe! From now on, I will also protect you from other people who want to harm and hurt you!" Diane suddenly said as she held Chloe's hands that caught us off guard.

"You really talk like a man, Diane…" Darryl suddenly said as he's starting to tease his sister once again.

"Oh, really? Why? Don't you want to protect our precious sister Chloe from all the bad guys out there?" Diane suddenly said that made Darryl nod his head.

"Of course, I want to!" Darryl said that made me smile once again. Seriously… Why am I so lucky to have these two adorable siblings as my younger siblings?

"Then let's all protect our sister Chloe!" Diane said in a very excited tone that made me just nod. That's the spirit, Diane!

"Looks like my rival to my sibling's love has finally arrived. Welcome to the La Flair Family, Chloe." I said that made Chloe turn to look at me while still smiling so happily.

"Thank you but you should be careful on bullying me from now on, Mr. La Flair." I heard Chloe suddenly said that made me just nod while still smiling.

"I think you're right, Mrs. La Flair." I said that made her chuckle. Starting from now on until our contract ends, I will never let anyone harm you....
