Child Of God

Chapter 101 - Escaping Prison: Guide To Life, By Kurama! [1]

The things necessary to live a good life; Money? No! Material possessions of any kind? Definitely not! Loyalty and power? Yes!

Kurama had served his Lady for multiple centuries at this point, and no matter how much he complained or how long he was imprisoned in that castle handling all kinds of things for his Ladies organization, he loved every second of it. Servitude and loyalty were so ingrained into his beings that he couldn't even imagine himself doing anything other than serving her for the rest of his life. And, the strangest things about this was, he knew that the more time you spend around her, the more loyal and corrupt to her ways you become. So technically, serving her might not be entirely by choice. But, still, despite this, his most honest and truthful wish as of this moment is that he wants to serve her for eternity. It was a truly strange feeling knowing that your feelings might not be your own, yet not want to abandon your ways.

"MASTER! WAKE UP!" Snapping out of his spiralling mind when his dear student and favourite girl in the world slapped him on the head. Hanc.o.c.k stood with her usual annoyed expression and looming over him like she always would when she wanted something from him.

"Yes, girl? What is it you want now? You already spent your allowance on clothes. No more money until the first of next month." He said strictly and dove right into his paperwork again.

"No, not that!" She answered, albeit a little embarrassed from the looks she got from the other primes in the hall. "I have a job for you!" She said loudly, shocking everyone around them. In the history of this organization, no one has ever ordered Kurama around. Even if he wasn't prone to violence quickly, no one dared to even look at him wrong. Except for Hanc.o.c.k! She was the only one that regularly assaulted him, always failing, of course since the depravity between their strengths were enormous.

"A job? More important than this, I don't think so!" Kurama instantly dismissed it and went back to work.

"Okay! It's not work-related, it's a vacation! You need a break! You literally haven't left this chair in 127 hours! I know you don't need food, but that is ridiculous!" This got the other Primes nodding along. They all were too scared of him to tell Maleficent to let him rest, but that didn't stop them from feeling sad for him. He was the only Prime that didn't have any freedom whatsoever.

"I agree!" Acnologia said suddenly. You could see Ddraig and Albion beside their Father tense up as he said it. They had never talked to Kurama, and just from the natural aura the Nine-tailed fox was exuding, you knew he was on an entirely different level. They still remember how just him walking into the Underworld back in their world made most inhabitants of that realm faint. That place is huge, yet just him appearing made the gravity increase around the entire realm.

"I second that!" Tier said, Seilah also agreeing with her. The demon looked at Kurama and said, in her naturally seductive tone of voice. "Individually, we do not stand a chance but if we call Rayleigh and Issac here, with every Prime here, we could force you to go. So I say, it's either you go willingly, or we force you. I'm sure Rayleigh is looking to stretch his legs when he gets back."

"Speaking of that, anyone heard from him? He's been gone for a year now." Kurama said, trying to bluntly change the topic.

"MASTER! V.A.C.A.T.I.O.N!" Hanc.o.c.k got really close to him and looked straight into his eyes. "Noooooow!"

With a sigh and push on Hanc.o.c.k's face, he nodded. "Fine! You win! Where do you wanna go?" He looked at her student.

"Wait, me? I said you need a vacation, I need to train!" She was taken by surprise.

"Oh no! You all leave this world regularly, I, however, do not! You, my dear student, are gonna have to show me how one such as us, Primes takes a vacation. And it better not be just slouching on a beach somewhere."

"Oh, right!" A fire immediately lit up inside her eyes. "Worry not, dear Master. I will show you the wonders of the multiverse. We will have so much fun, meet me at the gate in one hour, I need to go pack a few things!" She stormed off and disappeared like a bolt of lightning.

Kurama shook his head, picked up his paperwork and burned it all. "To hell with it! I deserve this!" He looked to where his student disappeared and smiled warmly for the first time in a long time. 'Out of everyone here, I'm glad you are the one I took as a student' He would probably never voice his thoughts out loud, but just the fact that Hanc.o.c.k didn't fear him was all he needed. She was the only one that didn't, and that was enough for him.
