Child Of God

Chapter 36 - An Emperor's First Step To World Domination

In the second part of the New World, you had a few ruling powers. It was the owners of this sea, the four pirate emperors with most of the New World under their control. And then came the Marines. Or more accurately the Marine Admirals.

The three Admirals were the only Marines that could exist in the same sea as the emperors. Vice-Admirals and anyone below just didn't have the capabilities to stand up to those pirates. New World was a terrifying sea on its own, but with pirates ruling almost all existing islands there, it was no place to call home for regular people.

On this massive and terrifying sea, a single Marines warship was making its way through. Marine Admiral Esdeath was making her way over to speak to a boy she was quite interested in. He was one of the emperors of this sea and also someone she had respect for.

"Admiral Esdeath, the island is in sight." Hina's voice came from the outside of the door and Esdeath looked up from the report she was reading.

"Be right there." Esdeath stood up and walked over to the door and opened it to let Hina in.

"ADMIRAL!" As the door opened Hina screamed and fell backwards with a face as red as a tomato, and blood running from her nose.

"What's the matter with you, puppy?" Esdeath observed Hina as she struggled to stand up and wipe away the blood from her nose.

"Y-Your C-Clothes, Admiral!" Hina pointed as covered her eyes, but still sneaking a peek through the fingers that covered her eyes.

"Oh, right. I forgot that I always write reports n.a.k.e.d. We're both women, so it's not like you haven't seen this before." Esdeath turned around and slapped her b.u.t.t in Hina's direction and walked inside again.

'Thank you, Lord!' Hina said to herself before she fainted on the spot with a bloody nose.

In the first part of the Grand Line, Marineford was located. This was the HQ for all the worlds Marines, and it was a location that was heavily guarded. An emperor would have a hard time destroying it if all three admirals were present.

Right now, the future self-proclaimed emperor Kurama was sitting on his throne above Marine HQ. He was looking down on all the Marines walking around and loading sh.i.p.s left and right. A somewhat creepy and evil looking smile had made its way onto his face.

'This is it. Years without a battle. Now I can finally have some fun.' Kurama had waited here for a couple of days at this point. He was waiting for a specific time to attack. And that time was almost here.

'Ah, just in time.' Kurama watched Fleer Admiral Sengoku walk out on the balcony and looking around.

Kurama had wanted to make this a special occasion. So he had a letter delivered to Sengoku that spoke about the exact time and place of his attack. And the appointed time was in one minute.

"Ready or not, here I come." Kurama raised his hand and pointed it at Sengoku's office. He smiled and launched a small dark red beam towards the building.

Sengoku standing on his office felt something approach from above. He looked up and his eyes spotted the dark red beam approaching at unbelievable speed.

"SHIT!" He said and covered his body in haki and launched himself off the balcony.

*BOOOOOM* His office exploded and caused an explosion so massive it shook the entire Marine base.

Sengoku landed hard on the ground with his entire body covered in haki. "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK! ALERT EVERYBODY!"

*boom* A small explosion occurred behind him and he turned around to look at what it was. And now behind him stood a four-meter tall giant man that glared at him with a satisfied smile on his face.

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku. I see you got my letter. How unfortunate for you that you didn't prepare for it." Kurama said and crossed his arms with satisfaction written all over his face.

"The self-proclaimed Emperor I assume? I thought the letter sounded like some eager teenage pirate coming to die. Imagine how wrong I was." Sengoku stood up with seriousness written all over his face.

their auras clashing with each other to the extent that everything in the vicinity was getting destroyed. Sengoku was shocked at the sheer power Kurama's aura held. It was overpowering him and also destroying anything it came in contact with.

"You have no idea, boy. This will be the worst day as your career as Fleet Admiral." Kurama laughed while looking around at all the destruction he had already caused.

"Damn, imagine the report..." Sengoku said in a depressing tone before returning to seriousness.

"So? Let me see how powerful the strongest Marine is." Kurama said and took a step forward. That single step sent a powerful pulse of pure magic at Sengoku and it was so fast and fierce that it sent Sengoku flying. He crashed into the side of a building without being able to defend against it.

"Not much!" Kurama said and smiled.
