Over the last few weeks, the New World had been in great distress. And this was caused by two powerful pirates present in this sea.

Among all the major powers in the New World, it was almost common knowledge that information barely could be kept hidden for a single day. The Marines had spies inside the Emperors territory and vice versa.

So for the last few weeks, there had been news of one of Big Moms most powerful commanders almost getting beaten to death. And because of Kurama's ridiculously explosive fame, the whole Grand Line stopped moving at the same time due to shock ones the news came in that Kurama almost beat Katakuri to death.

Inside the medieval-styled castle, Kurama was sitting at the huge round table in the castle hall. He was reading a report that Esdeath had sent about her progress on her side. She was mostly responsible for recruiting the future or current big names that would join her and Kurama.

"MASTER!" Hanc.o.c.k came almost flying into the castle with a piece of paper in hand. And that paper she slammed right down on the table in front of him.

"Your bounty is finally released! It's incredible!" She yelled in his face with extreme excitement written all over her face.

"Calm down kid, I don't even care about a bounty," Kurama said and took a sip of tea and continued reading the report from Esdeath.

"Don't you know that your bounty is half the reason that makes an emperor a true emperor?" Hanc.o.c.k said and waved the paper in front of his face.

"Oh, let us have a look then." Kurama put down the report and swiped the bounty from her greedy hands.

"Well that's funny," Kurama laughed when he read the nickname he had been named by the Marines. The nickname of a pirate is always just decided with the simplest method. And that is to take the nickname that the newspaper or just the public audience names them.

"What's funny?" Hanc.o.c.k said and tilted her head to the side, looking more adorable then any teenager should be allowed to.

"My nickname. They're pretty spot-on, or whoever came up with it is. I am a tailed beast or a monster fox is also a name I've had before. So I'm impressed they got the name part pretty much right." He smiled and looked at the bounty he received.

"Maybe I should arrest myself. That's quite the hefty amount of money for my head," He laughed again and put the bounty down on the table without giving it much of a second thought.

"Do you think I'll get a bounty someday?" Hanc.o.c.k asked and dreamed herself away to a world inside her own imagination.

"Sure. If you continue to play alongside Esdeath and me, you are pretty much gonna be the talk of the entire neighbourhood." He smiled and gave her a pat on the head to wake her up.

"Now, go and train. You are still too weak to even fight simple foot soldiers of the other emperors. As demonstrated by the fight with Katakuri and his men." Hanc.o.c.k's expression went from happiness to despair and then anger in quick succession.

"I know!" She said and walked out of the castle with depression almost becoming a visible aura around her.

Over at Marine HQ, everything was progressing slowly as predicted. They had an entire base to rebuild and it would take quite a while for it to be like it was. And right now Esdeath was inside Sengoku's office participating in a meeting.

"Any leads on the whereabouts of The Tailed Beast?" Sengoku said while looking through a dozen different reports that were all saying the same thing, nothing.

"No! Whatever island Katakuri discovered, it had to be by some freak accident. No one in The New World has seen anything resembling him or the island he's staying at."

"Esdeath, I want you to relocate to The New World. I want you in that sea at all times now. If Big Mom decided to act on this, then we need to be there to stop it. A battle between those two would escalate and create an even bigger war." Sengoku was clearly angry and also anxious. His tone said it all.

"Understood, Cap'n!" Esdeath said and lazily saluted while leaning back on her chair.

"Aokiji and Kizaru, be ready to move into the New World at all times. The seas are unstable now and we need to play our cards perfectly if we're gonna survive this." Sengoku said and put down all the reports. Thousands of Marines in the New World but not a single lead on the 5th emperor.

"Understood!" They both said at the same time.

"Dismissed, get out of my office!" He said with a tired voice. After these few weeks with all sides bombarding him with complaints and offers of all kinds, Sengoku felt like collapsing.
