Child Of God

In the skies above Tenrou Island was three magically floating thrones. On each one of these sat one person. They were hovering beside each other and in the middle sat Esdeath, though she had switched to her Rory Mercury form so that the guild members wouldn't confuse her for someone else.

In Fairy tail, she went by Rory and in One Piece world, she used the form of Esdeath. On her right sat Sabo on his throne. And on her left sat Issho. And beside Issho was an empty throne with no one on it.

"Are we not gonna help out anymore? Aren't we members of this guild as well?" Sabo said while watching his fellow members struggle against the opponents that he and Issho hadn't helped out with.

"Not yet. I feel someone approaching this island and we are waiting for that little reunion before we are showing ourselves. Let's make it dramatic." Rory said and gave Sabo a thumbs up with a smile.

"How is it that your personality is so different right now? Where is the Admiral Esdeath that I knew from my world? You are not her. Imposter!" Sabo said and sank down in his chair.

"Just fun things to do. My personality isn't changed much. I just act cuter in this form since this Rory form is cuter than when I am Esdeath. Esdeath is scary and tall while Rory is cute and tiny. It's that simple!" She said and smiled innocently.

"Yeah, NO! Stop acting like changing into a different freaking person is normal! Maybe it is for a goddess or whatever, but it's not normal for a human! Issho, tell her!" Sabo looked over at his fellow commander, but unfortunately, he didn't receive the help he wished for.

"I am loyal to Lady Rory. I do what she wants and I support her wholeheartedly." Issho said and performed a sneaky air fist-bump to himself for nailing that declaration of loyalty.

"I'm alone!" Sabo said and started to sulk even more. "And by the way, why am I here while he gets to be down there and do whatever?" Sabo said and pointed down on the island and on the man with white hair that walked around in the forest.

"You know his status. And just like Kurama, I don't care what he does or how he does it. As long as he acts with the best interest of our group at all times, he can do whatever he wants. People like him and Kurama are funnier to have around you if you let them do whatever they want. Just look at what Kurama has done to the Marines. Most of that he did by himself and I had no idea he was planning any of it."

Rory was all smiles when she thought about the fun times ahead. She believed that enjoyment didn't need to be fast-paced. She had a never-ending life span so she could easily wait twenty years just for a good joke.

And letting loose Kurama and her commanders on different worlds didn't mean she wanted them to destroy everything in seven days. Destroying a world became more enjoyable the longer you took doing it. Because she could really get to enjoy seeing the result of all the chaos she brought forth. Slow and steady wins the race. That was her current motto when it came to destroying worlds.

"So when will I get permission to do all that stuff? You sit around and watching a lot. I want to get down there and get my hands dirty!" Sabo said and rubbed his hands together.

"When you reach Kurama's or Rayleigh's strength then I will not restrict you in any way. I don't want my people to die, so I will not recklessly unleash you against opponents that you have no chance to win against. And Sabo, right now most of the ones down there would kill you in a drawn-out fight"

"You don't have to be in such a hurry to grow up. Ones you contract with me, you will have a never-ending lifespan so just take everything slowly for now. No need to rush anything. And this is one of the weakest worlds that I have my eyes on."

"My lady, how would I fare in a world that you deem powerful?" Issho said from the side. He was also one of the true powerhouses that served Esdeath. He was just slightly below Rayleigh and Kurama in strength.

"In one of the stronger ones, you would die pretty quickly. Many of those worlds have very distinct planets within themselves that house different level of strength as the norm. In the weaker ones, you would be a god descending on the world. But in the upper ones, you would be nothing at all."

Rory didn't sugarcoat it and told Issho how it was. Existence was vast, and there were entire universes in where every planet was out of Issho's league.

"I truly hope I can visit them one day. To see for myself ones again, the feeling of despair or seeing what is deemed true power. I long for the day where I can ones again feel progression towards the peak." Issho said with closed eyes and an expression of d.e.s.i.r.e shining bright on his face.

"Yeah, yeah, very deep and moving, now shut up. I am trying to watch something here." Sabo said and looked at the different battles going on down on the island.

"Brat!" Issho said and went quiet with his cheeks slightly colored red from embarrassment.
