Child Of God

Maleficent and the weak looking old man appeared inside the beautiful and majestic stone temple that belonged to the even more beautiful queen living here. The temple was heavily protected at the moment, for tonight was the long-awaited time where the Queen would go into labour and birth the princess of her people.

And this child was extra important because she had a magnificent destiny, but little did anyone here know that there was someone here that wouldn't allow that, and not even that, that person didn't even care about this world and the child's predetermined destiny within it. Of course, that person was Maleficent and she would leave fixing whatever she broke in this universe to the old man standing beside her, for he was the presence. The mightiest being within the realms of this universe.

"Truly a powerful child you have chosen. And the girls together are the representation of good and evil." The Presence said stoically.

"Yes, they are. And that is why I picked them to become who they will become." Maleficent said and watched the Queen scream in pain. Both she and the Presence stood in front of the Queen and all her guards, but none of them could see them or hear them talking.

More time passed and the Queen of the island had finally escaped the hell that was childbirth. And right now she was being handed her child, but suddenly everything stopped. The whole universe had stopped moving and the Presence was the only one that could withstand this time freeze since he was the only one in this universe that stood equal to Maleficent.

Currently, only three beings could move, and that was Maleficent, the Presence and the child that had just been born. She walked up to the woman that held the child and carefully took it from her arms, "This makes me feel a little bad... To be honest, I should have forced Rayleigh or someone else to do this for me." She said while placing the child comfortably and carefully in her arms.

"I trust you to take care of this," Maleficent said and turned and looked at the Presence. He simply smiled awkwardly and sighed, "Why couldn't you have gone to my brother's universe instead? Things have been going way too smoothly for him lately. He could need someone coming and messing up the future of his world."

"I plan to send my subordinates there eventually so he won't have it easy when that happens," Maleficent said, and the Presence grew a satisfied smile when he heard that.

"So? You know how you're gonna fix this yet?" She asked curiously.

"I see everything all at once. The future has already been rewritten and when something disappears, something else will come and fill that void." He said, bringing out his prideful tone as God.

"Can't say I'm not curious to see the future now that I will take this child from it. But now, be a good boy and take of this, I still have one more tiny lady to go pick up." Maleficent said and patted the old man on his bald head.

"Yes, Ma'am!" He said and wanted to swat away her hand but managed to contain himself. He didn't wanna perish after all.

Inside this universe he is God and is rumoured to possess infinite power since his body is this universe itself. But in all of existence, there is only one "True" Omnipotent being and that is Maleficent's father because he is existence itself.

So, technically, he is stronger then Maleficent when inside his own universe, but Maleficent is made from a tiny part of her father's real body. He is the reason The Presence or beings like him would never dare to go against her orders. And Maleficent isn't weak either, a fight between her and the Presence would destroy everything inside the universe, and it's unclear if he could actually finish the job of killing her.

"By the way, will you keep the same name for her?" He asked while looking lovingly at the tiny adorable little girl in Maleficent's arms.

"She will keep her intended name," She looked down at the child, "Diana!" She said with a confident and excited smile. "As the firstborn, she stands next in line for the throne. So the day that I take a step back and forfeit the seat as empress, Diana will take over and replace me. And I have a sneaking suspicion that the next few years will be very exciting." Maleficent the kidnapper, the empress and now the most powerful mother in existence grinned and looked at the Presence.

"Take care of this, now!" She said and disappeared with Diana in her arms, and time resumed again.

"AAAAAH! THE BABY IS GONE!" The woman that was gonna deliver Diana to the queen screamed in horror, and the guards pointed their weapons at the woman without a second thought.

"Oh boy, how unfortunate." The Presence said and slowly shook his head while accidentally letting out a tired sigh.
