Crap, I Was Rifted

Earth Realm was safe by Azul's victory. That was guaranteed according to the System Quest update. The World was currently stabile and a few loose ends were getting tied up. Jaine was checking archives Edenia with Azul's full approval. Any and all books had to be doc.u.mented. Onyx, Sapphire, and Ashley went with her. As well as 200 fresh Cryomancer's Azul created from his NetherWorld. Bi-Han, Kuang Liang and Frost went to find out more about their bloodline. Kitana was there escort for the trip.

Sindell was back in Azul's Nether World. Her and Dyshana hit it off for some reason. They both kept curling up around Azul's black statue. Dyshana would dance and Sindell would sing a strange song. It reminds Azul a little of the girl Chloe that came with Sha'Ara.

"OutWorld still has to fight the Orderrealm." Liu Kang said to Azul. They were at a table as the others went about celebrating. "If Out World wins.. Shao Khan will have the future strength to challenge Earth Realm."

"Yeah, he will." Azul took a drink of some weird drink he was served. Scarlet let him know it was a type of juice made from a fruit that grew close to the Sea of Blood. A place he was very interested in visiting. "We will fight him if we have to. Oh, before I forget." Azul returned the other soul's of the Shaolin monks he took in.

"Thank you." Liu Kang bowed to Azul in appreciation. "I have to ask.. are you a god?"

"Pft hell no. Just a man among a lot of things. Just trying to do some good is all." Azul scoffed before he caught Liu Kang's serious expression. "What else is bothering you?"

"Raiden said you are a god... Slowly something is corrupting you." Liu Kang looked away. "I dont know what to believe right now."

"I see," Azul said demurely. "Just followed whatever it is you usually follow." Azul took another sip if his drink in appreciation of his growing like of the drink.

"Your right." Liu Kang looked at Sonya and Johnny hit it off. It made his heart yearn for Kitana. "Azul since you are Kitana's father can I have her hand in marriage."

"Pfffft!" Azul spat his drank out across the table. "Cough, cough, cough, why would you say that?" He was having trouble breathing as he tries to take small breaths.

"Well, aren't you?" Liu Kang asked with a smile.

"Man just ask for her hand. I dont care anyway. I am mostly just like.. I don't know the protector of the place along with Earth Realm's protector. Well one of them anyway. You and the others better not slack off."

"Right." Liu Kang looked at one of the return monk's and started to talk with him.

There souls were searched through for knowledge. Taking any and all information that was relevant about some creature that whispered to people. Before he created basic human bodies for them. All were the Monk class from Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lion's Job System. Each had a heavy inscribed indoctrination seal on them. In case any thought of betraying Earth Realm a very painful torturous death awaited them.

"Ha.. ha.. ha.." A cloaked woman came running in towards Azul. Her biotic strands just said she was scared and desperate to find him. Spotting him, she ran right up to him jumping over tables to get there. "Please, BroodFather help."

"Huh?" Azul grabbed the fresh drank and took a sip. A quest popped right up.

System: D'Vorah has grave news about Out World. Follow her to find out. Rewards: D'Vorah as a subordinate, ????, ????? Failure: Mortal Kombat tournament will start again in 10 years. Onaga is reborn.

'Who the hell is Onaga? Nevermind.' Azul looked at D'Vorah. "Lead and I will follow you." She turned and shot off.

"If anyone needs me I went to go meddle in OutWorld affairs!" Azul said leaving the place. He passed by a Shokan ally who let those who need to know about it.

"Raiden has attacked Shao Khan!" D'Vorah said in haste. He is ignoring the rules completely. We have won our rightful place. The false god cannot interfere!" Her biotic strands were angry. This was a creature that no longer cared about justice after seeing the ugly of the Realms and its protector God's. Information poured into Azul's head.

"D'Vorah... I understand they did nothing to protect your people from Shao Khan's invasion." Azul said as he sped up and lifted her up. He was faster than here. Especially since she wore herself out with her running. Azul felt a ping as his map let him know where to go. "D'Vorah you now belong to me and my hive. Therefore relax. I will bring you to someone else like you. Well two of them. They share characteristics like you only. We will talk about this in the future more calmly. Just know this... Shao Khan is controlled by a higher tier creature. As a form God species himself that is kind of madding."

"You know a lot." D'Vorah said. She took in Azul's smell as her body became stronger around him. She could now find him anywhere he went. Azul didnt know it but he just received his second stalker from this World. "I will do as you say if it protects the hive."

"Yes, it will," Azul said with a strong conviction. "I failed my hive once before. I will not do so again. I give a vow on my very soul!"

"Tell me of what happened," D'Vorah asked as she was quite intrigued. Azul told her of the attack in a quick summary. They made it across the Nexus bridge towards the area that would lead to Out World. "This one called Shalla. What happened since her return to you?"

"We had a small talk," Azul said lowly as he remembered the talk they had before he came to Mortal Kombat.

-Flash Back-

"Broodfather!" Shalla called from behind him. Azul turned to see her smile. A different smile but it was warm as the Nether World sun hit her. "Sorry, it took so long. Had to make sure everyone was outfitted and trained up fairly enough."

"Nonsense l, you had things to do." Azul stepped forward then stopped. "I had no problem waiting for you. Are you OK?"

"Yes, I am." Shalla tilted her head side to side observing him like one would a new animal. "You are different. Stronger but more different inside. I can feel you more. Your not holding yourself back from me. Not scared to involve yourself with me."

"Right. I have accepted my role. Sorry I couldn't before. I should have done it sooner. You could have still lived."

"Nonsense and you know it. We will be stronger this time. Together. Soon you will have the strength and resolve to become a BroodKing and I will be your BroodQueen. This hive will be the strongest ever. I will have a force so powerful that the basic soldiers will kill any intruder." Shalla stepped forward head looking down. "Unless you think I am to weak?"

"Not at all," Azul said. Grabbing her shoulders, she started shaking as soon as he did. "Hey don't cry I didn't mean anything by.." He stopped when he felt the biotic strand.

"Ahahaha, I know." Shalla looked down to keep him from seeing her laugh. "Haha, I had to pull one over on you. I know you trust me. That is why I want you to become a BroodKing. It is a quest that appeared for me. As well as what I d.e.s.i.r.e."

System: Companion Quest: Shalla wants you to achieve the rank of BroodKing. Rewards: Vorcha will flock to you, Increase on abilities of exotic humanoids, Hive dominion, ????? Failure: Loss of Vorcha, Shalla favorability decrease.

"Oh boy. That seems difficult." Azul said slightly worried.

"You can do it. For now, tell me all of what has transpired." Shalla grabbed Azul and hugged him. "Tell me everything."

-End Flashback-

"We talked for hours till it was time for her to rest." Azul said D'Vorah. "I have a lot to make up for."

"I believe you can do it. I place my hive in your hands." She said before they made it to the remains of Shao Khan's palace.

System: D'Vorah ha become a follower. Due to status and titles, she has been promoted to Vassal. Loyalty Bond formed. 1/3 acquirements for BroodKing status.

"Head to.. wait no." Azul stopped when he rembered who was with him. 'Scarlet, Lettie go and assist D'Vorah in taking out any enemies as we secure the place.'

Scarlet let from his ear's and his mouth. Lettie just stepped out of his shadow. Azul grabbed Lettie and gave her a deep kiss.

"Muah, counting on you to keep them safe. Happy hunting sis." Casting Hastega and Cycle Up he disappeared in a few footsteps.

"Hello, you two. You heard my brother/husband. Time to save Out World." Lettie gave them both a toothy grin. Scarlet snapped out of her crazy from the bloodl.u.s.t Lettie released. D'Vorah was just happy that she was told by Azul to protect her. "Time to crush those tin cans."

Sektor and a few members of the cyber initiative had attacked under the orders of there benefactor.

-Inner Chamber-

Arriving Azul had blasted Raiden back and away from Shao Khan. Walking near the down Khan he was surprised how many down cyborgs were on the ground.

"Mental Cleansing! Regen!" Azul cleared the mental poisoning from Shao Khan by the whispers. The regen was to help heal any mental damage the man had. Slannesh appeared in a humanoid form. The shocking part was that it looked just like him. Accept it had pink/purple hair. Slowly it pulled on the soul that was influencing him. It slowly ate away at it.

"You are from Earth.. Why are you interfering?" Raiden asked. A flicker of doubt in his eyes. "Surely you can see that this is the best option."

"The Edenian's were not to be trusted." Azul walked around slowly. He was absorbing the biotic strands in the area. They did not bode well. "That stupid King had given his people over to the wrong man. One who cannot be trusted. They will be used and destroyed if they disobey. Worse than anything Shao Khan gives them."

"You won't do the same?" Raiden asked still conflicted.

"I do not want those.. People. An autonomy government for them. Yes, that is the best I will do. If Kitana wish to lead then sure. If she is qualified. Sindel will become it's new God to protect it. Argus has been stripped of his power. Him and his wife are both banned from my realm until I can verify they are no threat." Azul circled around Raiden studying the man.

"You are not going to take over Earth Realm?" Raiden asked searching for answers. The medallion around his neck poisoning his mind.

"I am an Earthling, my natural instinct is to protect my home. Something I still find myself unable to break from. Despite all my years of living."

"You feel like a young God. Several of your people do. They are outside the scope of what we can see." Raiden said as his eyes dimmed again. "What will you do about its warriors?"

"Now the Warriors they have I will definitely train. The knowledge I will copy and learn for myself and my people. Knowledge is something I crave even if I don't use it!" Azul's eyes glowed with raw arcane energy. His connection with Zelda intensified. A symbol floated in his eyes that Raiden stepped back from.

Zelda: Learning to improve and protect is something I like about you. Not for the sake of destruction despite your d.e.s.i.r.e to. I.... Will push harder.

Before Azul could say something to her, Raiden drew his attention as World Energy poured into him.

System: The World has chosen you for itself. Defeat Raiden to prove your worth. Rewards: Vary Failure: Death of Scarlet, D'Vorah, Sindell, Bi-Han, destruction of the Lin Kuei, Scorpion will be lost to the pit.

"Oh, all the craziness," Azul mumbled.

"I will protect Earth Realm!" Raiden's lighting turned red and menacing.

Raiden came at Azul arms outstretched with lighting flowing around. One of his signature moves.

Azul slid forward on his feet. Right as he would be hit by the attack, he ducked and uppercut him into the air.

"Ugh," Raiden let loose a grunt. He didn't get more than three feet before he stopped himself. His control of the elements were not something to scoff at.

"Get down Here!" Azul sent out the chains on his arms. Each grabbing at the false God and going to pull him down.

System: Strength Check 31 Pass Dexterity Check 29 Pass

"Schlk, Schlk," both pierced Raiden's c.h.e.s.t and came out the back. "Whoosh," with intense strength he was pulled down. "Crack," chin hit kneecap as Azul used a Muay Thai move he learned from Adon.

"Ugh," Raiden grimaced before pulling on the chain righting himself. With a tug, his legs went straight down in a press. His aims was fixed towards Azul's c.h.e.s.t. "Splash!"

Azul burst into water right as Raiden made contact. The chains fell to the ground limply as they were pulled out.

"Hmm!" Raiden hummed in disgust as he looked over his shoulder slowly. "Hah!" He turned into a backward strike hitting nothing. Swinging back thinking Azul was doing a feint, he saw nothing.

"Where in the.."

"Whoopsie!" Azul reformed from the water and gave him another uppercut.

"Bwoom!" Raiden teleported into light and reformed above Azul.

He sent a flying heel kick towards Azul's head. Throwing up a cross block, Azul took the blow. "You will fall!" Raiden's eyes glowed before electricity lit up Azul's body.

"Arrrrgghhh!" Azul screamed in pain before he pushed away.

Raiden landed on the ground and lunged at Azul. With a parry, Azul sent and elbow towards Raiden's face as he stepped in. Raiden brought his parried hand down in response and put it over Azul's stomach. "Bzzt!" An electic ball shot out hitting Azul in the gut.

"Ugh!" With a groan, Azul used both hands to grab Raiden's hand. Putting his left leg in between Raiden's he flipped tripped him. He forgot about the fact the amulet powered Raiden up.

"Bweem," Raiden teleported and kicked Azul in the back. "Whack," stumbling forward pass Shao Khan Azul felt the biotic strand from the man. He was angry about being used something fierce. That strand gave Azul's a boost of rage as he used Cycle Up, Dash, and Attack upon himself.

"Hah!" With the increase in reaction and power, he slid across the ground and delivered a stunning shot to Raiden's face. With that, he grabbed him by the collar and threw him back by leaning and kicking him in the gut into a pillar.

"Boom!" The pillar exploded but not from the toss of Raiden into it. But from the man shooting out of it towards Azul. "Bzzzt a large power of electricity-generating.

System: Intelligence Check 31 Pass

Azul stared at the charge. He activated Focus and cast Slow on Raiden. Timing it just right Azul focused's his biotic energy into his right fist. Raiden headed right to Azul and hit him in the c.h.e.s.t. Azul fist hit out in Counter directly toward's Raiden's jaw.

"Wham," Raiden head went all the way back touching his shoulder. His legs went up from the force. With a grab, Azul held them and swung into a spin. "Whoosh, Whoosh, Whoosh, Whoosh," with four spins he let him go sending him into a wall.

"Crash!" Raiden smashed through the wall into the otherside.

"Haaaaa." Exhaling Azul spread his legs in a stance as he pulled the energy and magic from the air.

"Ha... Do... Ken..Concussive.. Shot!" His arms bulged in barely contained power. Runic lines traveled all the way up to his eyes.

Raiden stood up just in time. He fired a blast of lighting as energy gathered around his eyes. "Bzzt," electric met Ki and devil energy.

A fissure of raw energy started tearing under the clash. Neither was giving in.

"Raahhh!" Raiden yelled as he stepped forward. More energy leaving the medallion boosting his power. "You will fail Monster!"

"Heh, thanks for the compliment." Azul chuckled. Behind his back, another Azul stepped out. In an instant, he ignited in flames.

"Well, let us see if we can roast a false God." Second Azul outstretched his hand forward and sent a flamethrower that engulfed Raiden.

"Ahhh!" Raiden screamed in agony losing control of the lightning ball. It detonated in a boom of power.

"Kaboom!" Second Azul stepped forward creating a flame shield before dissipating into the other.

"Whoosh," the smoke cleared in an instance. Raiden stepped forward dazed towards Azul.

A blue symbol appeared over the medallion. A red over Raiden's entire body.

"Finish Him!" The power of the World spoke out overhead.

Azul stepped forward and grabbed the medallion taking in all the power. It separated from Raiden as all the energy left him. Arcs of lightning flew out of his eyes, mouth, and ears.

From the side of the hall a few entered the area. Quan Chi, Motaro, a woman that looked like Shang Tsung, and King Gorbak. Without his crown and missing an arm.

'What decent biotic strands this thing has. Almost as much as Lehrans medallion. ' With a tug, it was dislodged. Azul turned and threw it towards Quan Chi. "Don't lose it again."

"Understood." Quan Chi said lowly. He felt a good portion of the power was gone. Looking at Azul he saw the energy was getting destroyed and the residual sent to the surroundings. 'He is restoring the realm and the place. Hmph, a goody two-shoes.'

Stepping away, Azul watched as Raiden continued to smoke a little.

System: Raiden has been spared. Awarding Paragon and points.... Points received 123,976. Rewards: World Shard, Medium Pull, Armor Pull, Accessory Pull, Boost to Nether World.

"Haaa, that was a nice fight," Azul said as he healed himself. He wrapped Raiden in his power and pulled him into his Nether World prison. "We will talk later Shao Khan. Just get your affairs in Order. Come on Slannesh. You took care of the parasite soul inside him already. Now you are just snacking on him."

"Spoil sport." Slannesh turned back into a sword and attached to Azul's hip. On the way out, Azul saw Shao Khan's Warhammer and picked it up. He pocked it into his inventory and continued on his way.

-Next Morning-

"That is what I can offer you, Shao Khan." Azul said plainly.

"An Alliance against the Titans and corrupt Elder Gods. As well as helping to defend OutWorld as an ally? But that's it for Skarlet as well. No forces or land?"

"No land. If you wish to give land, then I will not decline. Skarlet.. Has to come with me. There is nothing else you can offer me I think." Azul thought about it. "I will kill over her." His voice coming out laced with his power. "Oh, access to your library and your labs."

"You can have the creation, Skarlet. In exchange an Alliance between our Realms." Shao Khan offered his fist out. He was more impressed with this version of Azul. Force respect was more trustworthy to him. Azul bumped it and a magical rope wrapped around the two. "It is done. The other things will take time."

"Good. Oh, I can restore some of your lands, but it will take away some of the screaming souls in the area and all that noise."

"Good. I like my sleep." Shao Khan grinned before laughing. "Hahaha, a fine warrior you are. But do what you have to. I will retire for now." He walked away with a few retainers following behind.

"Well, that.. was different." Azul walked outside and changed to his Bahamut form. 'Ah feels much better. Stretching out he walked out and flapped his wings. "Time to get started." Flying away a bit, A good bit away spinning biotic strands around. Souls that repented washing away sent to the other side.

Azul opened his mouth and raised his hands. Outward his breath contains Mental Cleasning. His claws pulled at the psychic echoes wrapping them around his hands and arms. His runes started to apply more magic to help with the process. His three primary Aeons helped him every step of the way.

"Alita is going to be pissed she missed this," Kasumi said kicking her feet on the side of the wall. "Her loss. He is a very big Dragon. A really nig dragon now."

"Yeah, big dragon." Aurora leaned against the wall and watched. "I wonder what it's like to turn into one."

"It is liberating," Jaina said. "I recommend it."

"Good to know," Ruby said. "I wonder if he will let me fight him like that."

"I rather ride him," Emerald added. She felt the eyes on her and paused. Her cheeks turn red when she realized the implication. "Not that way you degenerates! I meant riding him to fly in the air."

"Hahaha, I think he would be OK with that," Tifa said coming over. "Have any of you seen Torbin?"

"Yeah, he was taken away by a few Shokan," Amethyst said as she watched Azul wings flap. "I wonder how much strength it would take to Rip them?"

"Is that all you women think about? Ripping him apart?" Shun asked looking them over. They paused and then spoke honestly to him.

"Yes. And s.e.x. But right now a lot of fighting and killing." Sapphire said.

"Ruby is just extra. I am happy to fight with him." Aurora said. "They will learn soon."

"Just because he pumped you good don't assume you have him sister," Ruby said with a snide tone. "I will take him from you the moment you slip."

"Ha! Best of luck." Aurora laughed. "You were there when he took me. He was holding back and was injured. Soon he will be fully healed and then he will split you like.. What was it again? Oh yeah, a gasaga melon he calls it."

"We will see." Sapphire looked back towards Azul. 'I want to cut those pretty wings of his.' She didn't know here sister's had the same thoughts.

"Worse than any demon." Jaina shook her head before turning to leave. "Goodbye, I am heading home." She walked through a Rift returning to her Home World to finish her next plans.

"Bye bye." Kasumi waved her off. 'Hmm I wonder how long it will take Azul to realize that these Ardat whatever they are called just want to have endless fun with him?' She checked a screen that Galtea gave her access to a long time ago. 'All in the green. With a few in purple. Who knew her loyalty became so high. Oh, that's a new one.'

Insight: Tifa Lockhart Loyalty Torn

'What the hell is going on with her I need to keep an eye on her. This spying is so much fun. So many secrets!' Kasumi settled herself down. Right on time as Azul had finished his preparation. "Lots of magic there!"

"Raaaaaaaawwwwrr!" Bellowing out he cleared the entire land for miles. The ground turned smooth and was seeped in magic that turned it fertile.

"Lots of power that dragon." From behind them, the Shokan King said. The one for the Tiger race Kintaro. "I am glad he is on our side."

Shao Khan's Chamber-

"My master, what do we do now?" Quan Chi asked.

"We wait and recover. As long as the new Champion poses know threat, we leave him be." Shao Khan removed his helmet and stared at the broken pieces inside. Stained with his blood before Azul healed him. Gripping it tightly he almost destroyed it in anger. "To think he would save me. What a fool. But he gives more than the other proposed."

"Yes and took almost nothing from you. I think it best we remain allies." Kotal said next to him. "The World is not the same anymore. We must move forward and change or we will be destroyed."

"You were always a good General Kotal. You would make a terrible Khan, however. We will do as you suggest. However, what will you do about that one called Jade?" Shao Khan turned and stared at him. "You may not have realized but your heart is already with her. I suggest you find a way to Rip hers out before you lose your own."

"As you say, Shao Khan." Kotal bowed his head and stepped away. Heart in turmoil.

"Go and restore order. We have much to prepare for in the future. Arrest any Edenia sympathizers and hand them off to Quan Chi."

"What do you wish to do with them?" Quan Chi questioned.

"Information about how the other Out Worlder caused the change in the CHaosRealm and in Edenia." Shao Khan looked on for a moment. "Also find Shang Tsung where has he been lately?"

They all shurrged and left before Shao Khan became angry.
