Crap, I Was Rifted

Next morning-

'Huh, Cassandra Why her?' Azul thought to Lluvia.

Lluvia: She is the same as Sophia as your first creation from your NetherWorld. Well, power-wise anyway. She has the soul of a reborn Overlord. She is not as cold as Sophia was. But her power is something you will not be able to ignore in the future. After becoming a prinny and working off her sins, she waited to be reborn instead of going to Heaven. Makai Kingdom, Disgaea, Phantom Brave, and the others share a same afterlife. Do not forget that. Most of the rules are the same for the deceased. It is up to you, to figure out how to gain her loyalty.

Anima was already coming over with some food to eat. A little grub before setting out. Seymour was standing g to the side reading a book but taking glances at Azul. The increase from his presence, made Azul more intresting to him.

"Why are so many of your people carry such weird scents?" KendoGaruromon asked while his head moved back and forth-looking at everyone in the tent. "But you..sniff sniff. You smell like something more."

"It is.. oh wait I dont need to keep this from you. I can turn into a Dragon. I guess she can turn into a cat." Azul pointed at Riku not to far away. "Anima can turn into.. I have no idea." Closing his eyes, the image of. Anima came into focus. She was a Devil Angel. Focusing observe on her again, he then looked at the Laguz portion.

Observe: Corrupted Heron

'Well that is just new! Hmm more things to look into. Turning to Skarlet, he reived an impression of a tiger laguz. "Well, that is interesting. She can turn into a tiger. Nothing to worry about Seymour. She won't eat you." The mans face was a little strained as Azul spoke.

"I would most certainly hope not." Seymour got up and excused himself. KendoGaruromon followed with intrest. Azul could see the two already started talking. "Hmm why does it feel like he will steal my Aeon?"

"Becaude he just might." Anima said. She grabbed Azul by the waist and looked up at him. "You did steal me from him in the other life. Maybe it is karma coming back on you."

"I did not steal you.. I liberated you." Azul grinned at her. "Would you rather I.."

"Stop." Anima placed her hands over his mouth. "I was just teasing. Eat your food for we can depart already." Azul nodded and she removed her hand. Stepping back, she turned to leave the tent. "Waah!"

She screamed as Azul pulled her back into his embrace. Tilting her head back, Azul planted a kiss on her lips. He held it for as long as it took for her to calm down.

"Puahh jerk." Anima said with rosy cheeks. "We are not teenagers. Show a little decorum." She straighten her clothes up and looked at his grinning face. "Go seduce Yuna if you are randy."

"Nah. I will befriend her. That seems better." Azul equipped his clothes and weapons. "Besides I am always randy so pft."

"You are such a kid sometimes." Anima smiled. She then remembered she had something to do and shot off.

"Well you ready for the next part?" Skarlet asked. "You wanted to gain Speedy back right?" Azul gave her a nod. "Then do it. Technically he should have traveled with you. The same as the others. It should not be to hard to get him back. Having has a Aeon last time should have kept him that way."

"Haaa." Azul exhaled and gathered his magic in front of him. Focusing on the image of Speedy, he found him instantly. The little mouse was on a portion of his Nether World just sleeping. But he was not. He was in magical stasis. "Come out Speedy." Azul said and focused the magic.

"Bwoom bwoom." A few pyre flies formed revealing the little mouse. Dressed in his clothing no shoes. As well as the complementary sombrero. He stared at Azul for a moment before looking around.

"Ehh we are back here? Why?" Speedy asked but did not wait for an answer. Shooting off, he ran around the town then came back. "This place is different but the same. What is going on?"

"That is my fault. I have some explaining to do. Sorry, thought you did not come with me." Azul touched his cheek and transferred what had transpired. It took only a few minutes as he only transferred information not actual images. "Same job as last time though bud."

"I hope so. Ahh, time for a siesta." Speedy stretched his hands above his head and sped towards Azul's shoulder. A quick look around, Speedy nodded and ran to Azul's out stretched hand. "See you later." Speedy then unsummoned himself for now.

"I like the mouse. He is nice." Riku said coming over. She just finished with her blades cleaning. She moved over to behind Azul, and grabbed his neck. Turning around he faced her a little alarmed. "I have something to tell you. Just to remind you what we are doing this time."

"That can not be good." Azul moved back to his previous spot. Skarlet just watched from the side. Listening intently but busy with a rifle. "Go ahead and shoot."

"The reason.. I wanted them dead.. is not just because of there hand in everything. You are my second user. Technically my third if we are counting you summoning me again." Riku said quietly. "Last time we killed them for what they did. You killed an entire race on my behalf. It makes me sick thinking about it."

"I am sorry. Say that again?" Azul's breath caught in his throat. He could feel the pang of guilt from her. She was shifting all the blame to him. He was upset but not to much. He found himself not caring for some reason at the moment. The idea of all those Guado having been killed by his hands made his power grow. "Go ahead and continue. I actually forgot about your previous User completely actually."

"The first "User" that came here... she didn't stay long. Not knowing about the World scared her. She turned herself into a member of the Guado race with her points. She fell in love with Seymour... That did not end well. He used her for more power as he continued to do the Trials for more Aeons. Once she found out, she abandoned this world and everyone in it." A small tear rolled down Riku's left eye. "I couldn't forgive her. It is the reason why I didn't come to you again. I have tried to keep my distance. Purge the memories after I received them from the others. Back then I knew you were genuine... even know you are willing to do this again. I am grateful for the Aeons. I do not think your heart would be in it. Especially if you lost them."

"Lost them.. technically I have. The other's are not here. I just have Anima and the ones formed from my Companions, and Followers." Azul shook his head. Him and Bahamut were the same entity so that did not count. Ixion was given to Zell, and that money grubbing bastard was now with Chloe. "The sisters, Enferna (Ifrit), Shiva, Ariel (Echilies), shit the list goes on and on."

"They will come back. Trust them." Scarlet said.

"When Hotshot came here I came across her a few years ago." Riku said. "I still found her like last time. But her and her sisters took off really quickly. I have no idea what they were really up to. It was pretty hush hush."

"A few years ago?" AzuI felt some information coming to the surface of his mind. "Their mission is just a discovery one. They are mapping the place and investigating some things." He scrfathced his head thinking he forgot something.

"Did you forget? When you do a mission that is considered a Companion quest, the World time is turned back. The primary User is you. Because of you, I am able to relive my entire life. That is how I was able to get answers and try to fix things." Riku sized him up a little. "You forgot didn't you?"

"Yeah the long wait got to me again. A few centuries would do that to a person." Azul answered calmly. "Did Lluvia know about the additional changes? I assume she coordinated with Galtea."

Lluvia: I did not. We are not allowed to know certain things as well. Unlike the bargain bin purchases, Pulls generally do not have their memories intact. I can only assume it is from your increased difficulties you have been exposed to. Besides I am enjoying my time as the Operator this time. A lot of different things happening. Way different than what you remember. Hope you are ready for the additional Aeons."

"Well, anything else you want to tell me Riku?" Azul said to her. The him that was heard mostly spent time with Anima and raising Seymour. As well the few explorations of the different islands with the others. He had slight confusion because of the time spent in Zanarkand. It messed him up more than he thought. 'Lluvia double check on me once again. Dig a little deeper this time.'

Lluvia: Very well. Maybe it is something in your Nether World that is messing with you. I will send Samus, Lu Bu, and Daio to check.

"Yeah. Well, show you instead." Riku tensed up as her hair stuck up a little. "I may not have Saiyan DNA this time, but the Namekian is even better for the way I fight."

Small arcs of energy circled around her. Azul's body registered it as a form of biotic strands. She was happy Azul didn't go crazy on her. Yell and scream at her. Small concerns about how to move forward against the change in her World. She didn't do me any harm or anything like that. "I may be an a.s.s but not all the time. So are you ready to kick some b.u.t.t in the coming days?"

"You bet." Her hair returned to normal. "We should head out now. About 30 more minutes." Azul nodded and she left. He felt Scarlet grab his sleeve.

She then tackled him. " While I have the chance, I am getting myself some snuggle time." Before Azul could respond, she threw her boots in the corner. Her blouse came off next. "Snuggle works best with out the extra clothes. Don't you think?" Azul just nodded as scarlet smiled at him. Part playful, part seductive, and last very demanding.

After the 30 minutes of just resting the group sat out and went over a small plan. The best thing to do was follow along with the regular events and pay close attention to the changes. Sapphire would move ahead with Azul, KendoGarurumon, Anima, Seymour, and Chappu in one direction.

Other Azul would go with Riku, Yuna, Lulu, Tidus, Wakka, and Skarlet. They would go the normal route. Unexpectedly, a little skirmish happen not to far out. Kimimari, the Ronso with the broke horn jumped down and attacked Tidus. Just to test his strength. After the fight they split off. The Ronso joined Yuna's group.

-Yuna's Group-

AzuI was in the back with Skarlet. He couldn't stop staring at her. When he was not looking at her, he thought of Aria and Mileena. It was driving him bananas about the fusion. But he had Slannesh to help distract his thoughts.

He could feel the sword talking to him. He wasn't telling him anything to crazy. Just what he could do to please them and himself. Azul remembered how wary he was of him last time, so the sword didn't tempt him with any of the "Excess" exploitation. He didnt get screwed over at all last time. But this time it could happen.

System: Willpower Check 20 Pass

'Huh?!' Azul felt his mind react and felt better. He gave into to paranoia for a bit. Which was understandable since he was tense for an odd reason. A sense of foreboding that involved the Sword. 'I should be cautious. I am playing with fire already with the indoctrination stuff. As well as messing with Dark Cosmos. Maybe I should not have absorbed Lucifer from Shun...'

Lluvia: Metal Patch applying.. now. I did not find anything wrong. You are slightly stressed is all. Mostly due to the Aeons not here. Considering Inferna is fused with your true Fire Rune, and Ariel your True Water rune, things should be fine.

'Right.' Azul thought back to her. Skarlet decided to pull his attention back.

"You know my Khan.. we can dip off and have a go at it. We could then catch up right after." Skarlet said as she moved in front of him and started walking backward. She didn't need to tempt him. Just her regular cat-like movements were doing it for him. Coupled with the way she moved like water as well, definitely a distraction.

"That.. really sounds good. But it wouldn't work at all. I wouldn't be able to stop with a quick one." Staring at her up and down, he shuddered in anticipation. "I couldn't do so little with you." Skarlet smiled and ran to catch up with Yuna and LuLu. Their talk looked a little interesting.

"Woom! Woom!" Additional magical energy wrapped around Azul before dispersing.

Lluvia: The side effects of your time waiting in Zanarkand are showing. Your willpower is becoming stronger.

'I figured. Why did you think it was ok for me to watch all of that for all those years again?' Azul lulled his head about. He felt a lapse in his memory just then. A sense of Deja Vu. 'Wait, was that the reason why? For my Devil power to relax.'

'Alright.' Azul did just that with no problem. He felt the presence inside turn giddy.

'Greetings my Master.' A twisted male/female voice came out. Azul felt goosebumps for only a second before his power buffed it. In an instant, it was giddy once again. 'Still so cautious. After all we have been through? I am not the one you should fear.'

'Holyshit! You are way stronger than before!' Azul felt the power was three times of what it was last time. It was subtle and slippery like an eel. It mingled with his own power easily.

'No my Master, not a joke. I am the remnants of the Eldar God from before. The one you and your ilk refer to as Slannesh now. My original name has long been lost to me and my people. Even with you returning to the past to change things. The tie frame for Warhammer and Warhammer 30k-40k, I am still lost.' The voice sounded slightly sad.

'Explain to me again.' AzuI was weirded out beyond belief. You know that feeling you get once you live through something and later it feels fake. That is how he felt right now. 'Sometimes things just seem off no matter what. Maybe denial or him just going crazy.'

'Long ago before the Great Fall. I and my brethren fought in the "War of heaven." Injured, I retreated. My followers gave into despair and turned to "Excess" and various forms of indulgence. Eventually becoming a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e cult. Before I could gather enough strength to stop them, the various Chaos powers had struck. They twisted my weaken people changing and warping their minds. So far away from me spiritually, there was nothing I could do. Then it happened. They performed a ritual so strong it pulled reality apart. Giving birth to the one now known as Slannesh. Well me anyway. In my anger at what they had done, I destroyed multiple Craftworlds as compensation to the Galaxy. That was a mistake. With the knowledge I had when e came back, I still did the same. The memory was to raw and I attacked a few Chaos cults on my return. So... little trouble when you head to Warhammer this time.'

Slannesh then shared the feelings of him destroying a few planets. The screams and death cries of the cults flooded into Azul. "I cant.. even.. ugh... I feel like my day just got ruined." Feeling sick to his stomach, He tried to breathe. "Ha... haa.. haa.. I'm kool. I'm kool." He then started to freak out. "I am not kool. Not kool!"

Lluvia: You won't like what is about to happen next then.

Mission: Save Angron from his fate. Defeat or subdue the ancient Eldar that are on his adopted Homeworld. Jaina Proudmore and Company already working on it.

Rewards: ???, ????, ????

Failure: Cast from the Emperor's graces. Loss of Slannesh sword, Loss of ???? Spear, Loss of Primarch Upgrades, Loss of Warhammer knowledge.

"Arrrghh you have got to be kidding me!" In his anger, he fired a Concussive Shot into the air frustrated.

"Boooom!" It exploded in the air dispersing the clouds above. "Fwooosh!" The explosion then pulled in on itself before exploding again. "Kaboom!" The pressure sent a sent a shock wave through the air. "Kaaaw!" Weird birdlike creatures scattered to the side.

Skarlet came to him a little worried. "Are you ok my Khan?"

"I.. yeah no. No, I am not. Just found out something terrible." Looking into her eyes, he relaxed instantly. She was generally concerned about him. "Do not worry, I will get through this."

"We will get through this," Skarlet said stroking his back. He could feel several parts of his psyche approve of this. "I will tell the others it was just a slight spell you were working on."

"Yeah, your right." Azul shook away his current thoughts. "Ah do not tell her that. I rather you do not lie for me." Thinking to himself, Ihe couldn't help but wonder if he could summon a giant sea creature for them to travel on. He dismissed that immediately, since he should run into Ariel again soon.

Talking to Slannesh and Lluiva while traveling, they came up with a solution for some things. The old plan would work just as fine. With some improvements for the changes that might have taken place. This was done on the outside of the sea port. Just in case any guards wanted to cause a problem, they would know.

'Ok so Slannesh you feed off my pleasurable thoughts and in turn, you pass on physic teachings for me to use. Sound good?' I thought to him. 'I hate drugs so you are lost on that as well. Nor do Indulge in much of anything. Unless you count fantasizing and reading books.'

Lluvia: It would help him grow I suppose. I cant discard the idea of you gaining a strong physic teacher. Who better than Slannesh for you? Well, there is Tzeentch but.. you would most likely go crazy from dealing with him/her.

'I have no qualms about this, my Master. Just never stop growing your physic power and you will continue to grow in strength.' Slannesh was quite pleased with the arrangement from his/her tone. 'As per the agreement with the High Eldar God Zion, I will assist you in all matters psychic. Besides you already earned my help long ago. I can not teach you the more... sinister stuff. Especially a way for you to use that Reaper Indoctrination better.'

'Right.' Azul agreed. Discarding that would be dumb. Screw morality. He hated getting backstabbed.

They arrived at the port a little before sunset. They were going to wait for a boat to ferry them where they needed to go. A beautiful sand beach that leads to a vast ocean. Bungalow's all along the stretch of land that one could see. It reminded Azul of the Caribbean in a way. It wasn't till he saw Riku worried face, that he remembered. This place would be destroyed by a giant wave caused by a piece of Sin.

Walking over he decided they could help the folks out more so than before. After convincing Yuna to help him with a spell for defense. They got started with Scarlet going throughout the beach area, she placed Water Rune patterns on the ground. It took a while, but they got it done right before the boat was ready to depart.

Lluvia: I hope this works. I am happy you are helping the locals again. Considering what happened earlier today I didn't think you would care. Or calm enough to do so.

'Meh, do not mind helping if I am nearby or paying attention for that matter.' Shrugging mentally at her, Azul look at their handiwork. It was quick and would have to do. But the added magic from Yuna who was a White Mage and added defenses from LuLu a black mage plus the power of Azul and company, the port should be fine. 'Have to stay active.'

Soon as they were aboard, the attack by the Sin spawn started. But that was something Tidus group could handle no problem. Azul had bigger things to worry about. Activating Misty Fist, he place it around his feet. With his Biotic Shielding activated as well, he jumped overboard.

System: Willpower Check 20 Pass

"Woom!" The water encased him in a dome with slight gaps in it. He was finishing as he moved and dropping things into the water. The drops were little mechanical sensors to study the water and creatures down below. He remembered about his Genetic knowledge from Halo. He did not want to forget about getting new material.

AzuI felt like the Bubble Boy running across the water. Well more like wheeling across. As he went about doing this, he was casting a spell. A high tier Water Spell.

Behind him, the fight was getting more intense.

"Roaar," the Sin creature screamed in pain. It pulled itself back underwater. Creating little ripples in the ocean. The ship then pulled further out. Azul heard Rikku scream.

"Look out!" She pointed to the side. A wave way bigger than the one he had seen in the game was coming towards him. Unlike last time, the water turned black with images of faces inside.

"That is way bigger than I remembered." Azul said to know one in particular. "Why is it black!? Here goes nothing." He raised his hands and snapped his fingers triggering the rune seals. A barrier of water formed from the ocean surface. Throughout several parts of the barrier, there were whirlpools.

The purpose of those was to help pull the water apart into a current if it got passed him. In the inside of the barrier, several funnels of water would pull together to create a waterspout. Draining from the other side of the ocean. "I really wish Jaina was here for this next part." That was the plan anyway. Magic is supposed to make miracles so here's to that.

"Spasshh!" The wave hit against the barrier causing it to fluctuate. Standing on the opposite side, Azul drew on his magic reserves and imagined himself pushing the water back. It wasn't enough. His magic was lacking in sheer power. Something was eroding away at it from the inside. 'Now that I thought about it, Bi-Han said that to me before. But what is this pullback and these faces?'

AzuI drew in his physic energy and mixed it in with the magic. The wave started to pull back. The small respite gave him hope. Then he saw it. The Sin creature mixed within the wave.

"Oh, Bullock's to this!" He yelled at it. Shaping the barrier, waterspout, and all the magic energy in the air. He turned it into a pair of giant hands. "Overlord's Fury!" Sending into the wave, he had it pull the Sin creature out. It's name floated in his sight. "No.. why.."

(Sin: Echuilles Lv 25)

That was to be expected. However the body of the woman in the center made him the most shocked. (Echuilles aka Ariel, deceased Summoner from 600 years ago.)

'What happened to you?!' Azul lost his concentration before anger took over. Ariel looked worn out and tortured. Her skin had lashes and her eyes were removed. Both looked to be recent.

It lashed back sending the hand back and to the side. AzuI felt that with his real hands. The physic backlash hitting against him immediately. Striking out with his other hand, It turned into a piercing strike. He parted the water to allow for maximum penetration.

"Schhlk!" His hand went right through the frontal part of the creature. Digging his hand in, he started to pry it open. Swinging its giant head towards him, he grabbed it with his other hand. Pulling it by the mouth he could barely keep a grip as it kept wresting itself from the hold.

"Arrrrooo!" The monstrosity yelled. All along its back, pods appeared. It was the blasted Flicker creatures. Before they could launch off at Azul, A red wind came and cut them apart.

"Schlick!" The red wave cut the entire backside open. "Schlick!" Another wave of red wind mixed with green cut across taking out all the Flicker's. Skarlet and Rikku had attacked together in a combo.

"Keep still as I get you free! Damn useless summoner!" AzuI felt his anger boiling over. He was sick of things not working out again. He started to aggressively punch at it again. For every time it smacked against his hand, he would claw at its c.h.e.s.t and punch it in the face. "Damn it Ariel! Wake up!"

The body only moved with the rest of the Sin Spawn. Azul couldn't tell if Ariel was dead or not. His Water Rune that connected them was dim and had no power in it.

System: Constitution Check 29 Pass

Feeling his actual fist turn raw, AzuI looked at them. His skin and muscles had peeled off from the attacks. He looked over to the side seeing the ship was far away. That was good they were safe. Yuna wouldn't get plagued by the death of this village.

Echuilles sent a few sin scales at him. Summoning Bahumut, he let it take care of them. He focused on the big creature. "Bam!" He backhanded the creature. He felt the biotic strands as it turned to look back at him. The look in its eye was incredulous. It felt offended that he backhanded it.

"You can yield. Fight against Sin or die. Your choice, you failure of a summoner." He didn't care for its feelings anymore. "You should have stopped clinging to life and let your self die and this wouldn't have happened." It was cruel but he did not care for some reason. "Ariel why did you fail again!?"

"Roaaar!" It bellowed at him.

Sending his open hand inside of its maw, he shaped it to spikes to pierce outward. It reeled back in pain gurgling up something.

Pulling on its pain and suffering, he transferred it to physic energy. Something in him boiled over as his c.h.e.s.t started to burn hot. He could feel his Nether World reacting.

System: Overlord's Fury increased in power.

"Good of time as any." Focusing on the c.h.e.s.t wound he gave it, everything was going there now. The cannons appeared and charged up. "Fire!" Azul's body tensed up and he felt power come from within him. He felt a few of his Summons leave. They powered up his aquatic hands.

"Bweem!" The cannons fired at the same time and tore right through the beast. The red energy blast was fueled by Azul's anger and supercharged the weapon.

"Dush!" The energy blast broke the surface of the ocean and continued to it hit the sea bed. Azul wobbled slightly woozy at that. He felt a lot better mentally. As if someone poured cold water down his back side.

A giant aquatic claw appeared after the reshaping. He watched as it moved on its own striking Echuilles. Out of the head, a spike appeared. Out of the center, two more spikes shot out. At the bottom another spike. I thought it was over than more spike appeared coming out of each direction. Soon all that was left was a sphere of water. It shrunk and then nothing. A flash of light appeared. A bunch of pyreflies and spirits floated in front of me.

System: Level up x1, Sin fragment obtained, Summoner Chronicle II obtained.

Lluiva: Are you ok. You stopped responding for a few minutes.

'The souls of these .. people disgust me. They ran from the fight against Sin. Ariel was force to fight to the end by herself. They didnt even try to fight till the end. They loved the attention but hated doing the work. These Guardians of hers used and abused the authority on oppressing the people. No wonder the island was to be destroyed by Sin. These people are worthless. Ariel was consumed by it when she resisted. They blamed her.'

Lluvia: You passed through the village earlier. Did you feel that from them as well?

'No, you are right. They changed after this lot here died and failed. Well, I guess not fail. She did injure Sin well enough that someone else was able to kill it.

Lluvia: What will you do with the sphere? It is concentrated magic.

'I rather just destroyed it completely and everything inside and feed it to the sword or my psyche.' Azul said angry. He was waiting for Ariel to appear. He had no idea what was taking so long. 'Where is she?'

Lluvia: That is your choice.

'I won't say no to this meal Master. The spirits here are tasty.' Slannesh said to him.

"Woom, woom!" The pyreflies turned into images of people.

AzuI thought about it again. Staring at the group of pyreflies, souls and decided. "You become my summons till I decide to free you and I let them go on there way to the farplane. If not.."Azul tapped his sword just to make sure she understood.

"You cant be serious. We did our best!" A guardian said. "What right do you have..." AzuI cut his voice short with a flick of his sword. His body was cut in half then absorbed.

"I am not in the mood. I having trouble just looking at you all as it is." He rubbed his temples before he spoke again. 'I overestimated the World once again. I was paying for it the hard way. Mom always said I only knew how to understand after the pain. But Ariel looks so fragile now..'

'I am so sorry for failing.. I tried just.. was not strong enough..' Ariel thought to him. He could feel her trying to strengthen herself to explain. 'I..'

"Enough! You are mine now." Azul said sternly.

"I will follow you.. my Summoner." Ariel bowed her head to him weakly and started to break down and enter him. AzuI looked at the rest and grinned. "Off you all go now." Extending his left hand at them. His psychic power stripped them of anything useful then he sent them to the Farplane.

'Azul they captured me and..' Ariel thought to him.

'Be quiet. Just relax and get better. Use my points if you have to. Slowly tell me what happened once you have the strength.' Azul thought to her. He shifted her to a secluded spot in his Nether World for her to recover. 'Lluvia see to her at once. Let know one else do so.'

Lluvia: Understood.

"Fwoosh, fwoosh," two gust of wind came up to the side. It was Riku and Skarlet. Floating on wind currents they just stared at him.

"What is it? Did something bad happen again?" AzuI asked already finding this day to be one of his worst yet.

"No," Skarlet said. Her eyes had a worried look as she looked at his left hand. "Come back to the ship. The island is safe and the ship is getting further away." Skarlet said as she grabbed him by the side. Rikku flanked his otherside.

"Fwoosh," they took off. With both of their winds intermixing pushing them along, it didnt take long at all. In a matter of minutes, the made it to the ship. As soon as they did, AzuI felt the pain hit him finally.

"Ahh, damn it all." His knee hit the deck. Way harder than he wanted it to. "Thump. Creen!" I bent the metal exterior. "Why am I so heavy?"

He started to activate his biotics to heal the damage.

"Stop!" Skarlet yelled at him. She uncorked a potion and poured it over his arms. The burning sensation cleared the cobwebs in his mind. "Let us do it before you kill yourself!"

Looking down Azu finally noticed. His veins had ruptured as well as several blood vessels. His bones were broken and had trouble healing. Even with the upgrades, his body was a mess.

Rikku came over with Yuna in tow. Immediately her eyes went wide. She didnt thinks it was that bad at first. She reached her hand out and used her magic to help soothe his body.

"Ahhhhhh," AzuI g.r.o.a.n.e.d in p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e ashe leaned against the railing. "Thanks for that." He stared at Yuna and watched as she continued to work on him. Rikku had darted off for some reason. "You ok Skarlet?"

"That was stupid of you." Her voice came out angry. He couldn't see her eyes at all. Or her mouth. "That was not the plan." She said. He couldn't even feel any biotic strands coming off her.

"I know it wasn't. But I had to change it up. The barrier would not have held long enough. It was more powerful than I imagined. Even factoring in the fact everything was made harder." Azul tried to move closer but Yuna pinned him with her Staff. Her eyes were very determined for him to stay put. AzuI looked at her, she was not happy as well. "You know I thought you for one would be happy. Considering how much you love this place and all."

Then he felt it. A drop of water on his exposed t.h.i.g.h. It was not from the healing. Yuna was crying. He reached up to grab her face but she darted off.

Skarlet walked over and sat down next to him. "We were worried about you. Especially Yuna and myself." She smirked at him. "She felt your pain at Ariel. I do not know if she knows the connection between you two as a Summoner herself, but she started crying when you yelled."

"I do not know either. Right now I am trying not to think about it to much." Azul said.

"Something is bugging you. I can tell. What is it?" Skarlet asked.

"I think I should say later. It was something I realized in Zanarkand." AzuI said to her. She grunted. They sat in silence till the others came over. "What is it?" He asked towards the boat Captain.

"Thank you for protecting my people." He bowed and turned to leave.

"Your welcome." Azul said as he left. Tidus looked at him "What?"

"You took on a tidal wave." Tidus started to say something more but was interrupted. "That was.."

"Stupid!" Riku said walking up. She had some clothes with her. She threw them at him. She glared at Tidus who in responsive walked away. Riku walked after him.

"You dont care that you are in public?" LuLu asked. She then turned to leave as well. Slightly embarrassed.

"No. Not really." Changing the close out, AzuI started to tell Skarlet. He figured it was no reason to not to talk about it. "Don't get mad or weird but.. well.. I died."

"What do you mean?" Skarlet asked alarmed.

"When Ariel died and became a part of Sin. Something happened to me that fits with the time I was in Zanarkand in that weird Scenario." Azul said looking at her. "I think when my Aeons that I am close with Die, so do I in a way."

"Then.. the Ifrit.. when she dies and because that man's summon what then? Welly ou feel it again as well?" Skarlet asked alarmed.

"I already did." Azul shook his head a little sad. "When I get close to them, I will feel it again. Each of the Sin pieces we take out is a Summoner. And I added most of them to my aresnal. I died a little with each of their deaths this time around."

"You should break the bonds with them." Skarlet said coldly.

"I won't. The bad part is already done. Do not worry, it will get better. I think." Azul smiled sadly at her. Skarlet plopped down and leaned against him.

"So what happens with Anima? She is already a different existence. She did not die but still has her powers this time." Skarlet asked looked at him with her blood red eyes. "If she dies what will she become and what will happen to you?"

"I.. do not know.." Azul said quietly.
