Crap, I Was Rifted

Chapter 81 - Final Fantasy X Part 6 End for now

Lluvia: She will be fine. However if she dies here, then she is banned from her home World. That is the most simple course. If she continues on her path she will change more than same as Scarlet. The same as Mileena did. Able to constantly revive with you in places.

'I see. If that is what she wants than so be it.' Azul thought to the two. He decided to settle down in a room and relax.

-Anima's Group-

Azul, Anima, Seymour, Sapphire and Chappu had made it to a new set of ruins. The locals called it a temple but.. Azul said otherwise. The place did not fit in with everything from his memories of the game or the last time he was here. A new place. A man made island that the extended from a small strip of land NorthWest of Besaid island. Azul found it weird the increase in machina in this part of the area.

"Hah.. this is just crazy." Azul said as he held the spear. With a shake it turned into a Halberd then a Warglaive. With a push of mental energy, he felt a connection instantly to Tiffany. He could see through her eyes as she traveled in buildings in Warhammer. She was with a another version of him. The oddest thing as how restless she was getting. Tiffany did not like Terra at all. But his task needed to focus on the here and now. "Reveal yourself to me already."

"Woom! Woom!" To pulses of powerful magic /psychic energy left the halberd. Red black streaks tried to burrow into Azul's hands. Azul unleashed his devil power and dragged the energy inside and made it his own with ease.

System: Willpower Check 25 Pass

"Tch! Pain in the b.u.t.t." Azul put it to the side. He would conquer the weapon later. "Are they done yet?"

Alita: They are coming out now. Stop acting impatient.

"Yeah, yeah. Just trying to wrap my head how this will help us stop Sin this time. I get new Aeons for the battle will help the low level creatures. But the high level one, the one that is Jecht will be the issure. Unless.. unless something else has replaced him." Azul spoke out loud since no one was around.

Alita: Checking now.... and done. Yes there is another End Boss. JEcht is just the precursor to deal with. Something else will be waiting afterward. The Quest will unlock after his defeat. Maybe...

"Great just great!" Azul stomped on the ground. The spear sent a pulse of energy making him angry and feeding off of it. His Pather power redirected it and made into something else. "What is this?"

In front of Azul was a dark red ball. Almost black from the compression. Observe kicked in revealing the little ball to him.

Observe: Cosmos power ???

Alita: Congrats on understanding the power of us Operators more. This is a great occasion Azul. Perfect time to go to Magic the Gathering yes?

"No! Not even remotely close." Azul said. if he had this mastered then sure, but this was just a small spec of it. 'Tch that blasted Shun said I wouldn't get at this level with out deep training and meditation.'

Alita: For regular Cosmos power sure, but you are not a peaceful man. You most likely would have gotten here sooner if you were not trying to be a better person. A Paragon person. I am not like Galtea and Zelda, nothing wrong with your d.e.s.i.r.es leading you more.

'Hmm you are correct.' Azul agreed and felt something click in place. The spear hummed happily and he could feel his Devil power grab hold and use it as a focus point. The presence of the Emperor of Mankind from 30k-40k could be felt within. A biotic strand left the spear and entered Azul. It was happy. 'I am going to have a talk with him when I arrive personally. I will not let a part of me deal with him.'

"Bwoom!" The ball of light entered Azul and turned into a small wrist guard. A small addition to armor that should help in the future.

"Hey!" Sapphire called. She was the first out with the others behind her. "He did it with ease." She miled happily. Her tail wagging behind her. Her light blue fur shined in the sunlight. As a Ronso, it suited her just fine. Then again, she had time to get like that.

"Well time to move onto the next area then." Azul said calmly. "Are you and the others ok?"

"Yeah! No problem at all!" Sapphire beamed. "Well Seymour did faint when we came out. The air hit him hard. It is a little stinky from the power plants." Her nose wrinkled a little bit. "So how are we leaving anyway?"

"By flight, I have a spell that has been prepped for awhile. I rather meet back up with the others considering the feelings I am getting. Along with the new information I just acquired." Sapphire gave Azul a funny look. She wanted to ask for the details but he shut her down. "Nothing to concern you. Just a little personal problem with a .. friend."

"OK." Sapphire nodded. The others walked up afterward with a slightly dizzy Seymour.

"I will be fine I could just rest a little." Seymour said. Chappu had him lifted with his shoulder. He stared at Azul and saw the look in his eyes. He knew Azul was ready to leave the place as soon as they arrived. Why he had no idea. "Just a few minutes."

"Uh.. no it is ok." Azul shook his head. "Take a breather. Summoning is hard work done the way you all do it."

"Says a master Summoner." Chappu said. His voice sounded enough like Wakka that it drew Azul's attention quickly. "Why dont you go in and gain another Aeon?"

"No." Azul said curtly. "The Aeon inside is not something I need." He did not think less of the Aeon inside, just that it was different and not one he would really need himself. No reason to bond with it and take another Aeon away somewhere else. "Not one of mine."

"True, but I agree with Chappu." Anima said. "Go inside and meet with the Aeon. I think this will bring you some understanding. Or are you scared?" Anima had a playful smile. "I will reward you if you do a good job."

System: Anima's challenge. Aeon Anima wished for you to prove to the new Aeon's who is the boss. Each new Aeon you acquire will give you additional power.

"Bah!" Azul threw his hands in the air. "Fine, just stay put and recover. Sapphire keep them safe." Azul started to head into the ruins for the trial.

"Hey I am not weak you know!" Anima yelled. Her hands on her h.i.p.s as she glared at Azul who kept walking. He did give her a thumbs up however. When he was far enough away, she turned and smiled at the others. "See just a little goading with some rewards is all it takes."

"What rewards?" Chappu asked.

"Do not answer that!" Seymour said. A little color returned to his cheeks. "I do not want to know about my mothers rewards for him."

"Umm right." Chappu scratched his cheek understanding. It then dawned on him the dynamics of their family. "Seymour your in your 20's, your mom looks to be 25. Azul always looked 25 or 30 depending on what he was doing over the years. My question is... how the hell does your family look so young?"

"Magic haha." Anima laughed. "Seymour father is not really Azul. He just helped me raise him is all. As for his father do not worry about that."

"My biological father is Guado." Seymour said plainly. He sat down on the ground to help recover. Anima tensed looking at him. She did not hide much from him, noe even his orgins once he was old enough. "It will be revealed when we travel anyway. Somehow, mother was able to do something that left me human. I do not know what. Sometimes I dream of another me walking around the Guado community. He is most disturbing in a way I could not understand."

"Haa that would be your other half." Anima sighed. She was aware of it and cursed the System for doing this to her son. She did not have the points to change it and did not have the strength to do anything about it till Azul arrived with his Prime soul. Even then she didnt bring it to his attention yet. How do you explain something like that to someone? "You two will have a confrontation in the future. Whether good or bad I do not know."

"So he has a brother?" Chappu asked confused.

"No." Anima said with malice. "That thing is not my son. Only Seymour here is."

"Hehe he ok." Chappu then decided to be quiet. Sapphire just listened and made sure to tell her sisters later. Looking over to his Summoner he had to ask how he was doing. It was his job as one of the man's Guardian. "How are you feeling Seymour?"

"Better." Seymour answered. He thought about asking his mother some more but kept quiet. Ever since yesterday, Anima had started acting nervous. Increasingly so. 'Maybe the Aeon was right. It did say something was out their worse than Sin. Soon everyone would know of it.'

"Thump, thump." A few guards walked around and stopped in the area. Four dressed in heavy gear more heavier than normal for patrols. Something about them was off putting and they looked at Sapphire and Anima with glee. It was not l.u.s.t since the female in the group had the same look.

'What is all this about?' Sapphire thought to herself. She kept an eye on them as she waited.

-In the Ruins (Temple)-

"Haa the thing I do for rewards. Then again this is a nice distraction and I do need to train still. But the mobs have not formed back up. Why the hell is it a maze in here!?" Azul was walking around and tried the method of keeping his hand on the left side of the wall to help guide to a destination. It was not working. "I should have asked how to get through this place. I hate the trials so much."

On the walls, nothing could be read and there was no real discerning marks. The metallic surface fused with stone reminded him of Zanarkand and Bevelle. Which was really weird. Searching his memories more he did not find much connection. The ruins were also not in his memory either. Despite digging deeper inside. Azul looked at his map and was happy it revealed something of the path he traveled. Now it was just going every route before he starts blowing the place apart.

"Haste, Tailwind, Cycle Up, and Dash!" Azul did the full chants and pushed the abilities as he started to run across the place.

20 minutes later and Azul patience was done. "Blowing it up now!" Gathering his magic he stopped when he saw a light down the way. "Seriously?!" He questioned. If he didn't know any better, he would think the ruins was playing with him. Moving towards the light he was not ready for what was inside. "That is... not ok."

Inside the room were statues. Each had a name inscribed on the bottom. Each statue was also a depiction of the Aeons one could house on their journey. As well as their weakness. Looking around the room, Azul looked up to see a statue of Bahamut the Dragon Aeon. As well another dragon across from him. Reading it revealed a little surprise.

"Tiamat? Their is no Tiamat in this World!" Azul said. The statue eyes lit up and moved as if it came to life. "Oh she was right about coming in here. This is just a treat." Watching the Dragon intently, he waited for the first move to be made. "I insist on you swinging first."

"Oh how rude dear husband. Have you forgot me Zaon?" The Tiamat statue turned out to be Yunalesca. He could tell from the tone in her voice. She formed from the use of Pyreflies and returned to a solid form. Grabbing Azul by the cheek she smiled. "You have fused with my husband Azul, can you not show me affection?"

"Hah, what is going on here first of all?" Azul said. He did grab Yunalesca by the waist and held her tightly. He did not pull away from her c.a.r.e.s.s either. "Call me Azul or not at all. Or did you forget how your husband was devoured by me because you forced fused with Mileena?"

"No.. I did not. It was millennia ago. Can you not just drop it already?" Yunalesca pouted and looked to the side. She was not the cold calculating woman anymore that gave birth to the idea of the Final Aeon to defeat Sin. "I am here to help Summoners. I explain to them the act of the Final Summoning to defeat Sin as well as the method you developed to pull Sin inside to contain him. Do not worry, the Guardians and the Summoner can not mention it or speak of it. Thanks to the magic I purchased from the System shop upon returning. Since you were against people sacrificing themselves to do so."

"Because it just gave birth to new forms of Sin years later. It was just postponing things is all." Azul said softly. At least she changed a good bit. "Wait did you still kill Auron?"

"Of course!" Yunalesca said with a smile. "He was quite rude to me and yelled that my efforts were wasted if a Sacrifice was still needed. Not my fault Sin was to powerful because of the war. Stupid kingdom of Bevelle. Its their fault this all happened in the first place."

"Ok, ok. Calm down." Azul said. He sent her some biotic strands of happy thoughts. "No need for you to turn into a Dark Aeon. Speaking of which, why a Dragon? You originally just faught people as.."

"La la la shush!" Yunalesca covered his mouth. Her cheeks were a rosy red as she was embarrassed. She was thinking of her hideous form in Final Fantasy X-2. Azul was not thinking about that one. "You dear husband Azul/Zaon are a dragon so why not me?" Seeing Azul shrug, she lamented and removed her hands. She did take notice he held her tighter.. "Good. Now something else as happened that I informed the Summoner's of. But for now, I can not tell you personally. Do not give me that look, blame the System. I received a Lunatic Quest that good out weigh the bad. The info would just cause you to go crazy and rush in. I rather not lose you again."

"Fine." Azul said. "Did you contract with anyone or just give them information?"

"Information. I am not the Aeon that resides here. Oh I have a gift for you." Yunalesca reached towards the Bahamut statue. It dissolved into pyreflies and went into Azul. "Information on all the summoners that have passed through the trials of the years. It should help to deal with the new Sin Spawn and Fallen Summoners."

"Thanks." Azul said. He felt the work she did was way worth it now. "OK time to go." Yunalesca look sad at the idea of him leaving already. "You are coming with. I am not leaving you here. Just would not feel right. Of course that does not mean you will possess anyone. Maybe we get the chance to revive you in a way like Anima. Got it?"

"Of course I wont. I will do it with their permission. Unless you have someone who is willing to fuse with me permanently?" Azul thought about it and had an idea to do so. No way would he pass up the strengthen one of his Companions. Even more so to strengthen Lettie or Quistis. "Your smile says you do. Good." Yunalesca turned and pulled the energy from the statue dissolving it. Faster than Azul could see, armor and clothing appeared around her before she vanished in motes of light.

System: Yunalesca ???? Aeon acquired.

'There is another part of you in the that location? Why exactly?' Azul thought to Yunalesca. Looking around at the statue of the others he lamented that they were not here either and did not answer his call for them. 'Do you know where the others are exactly?'

'Someone else has snuck in while you were snoozing. Lluvia has kept tabs on them. The User seems to have implanted himself in the Bevelle populace. Massing arms to cause problems. The other me is just a duplicate for them to deal with when they go around. When you reach her, I can just take back my power.' Yunalesca thought to him. 'Everyone has done quite a lot to change our World for the better. A lot of us have failed. But you can help fix it.'

'Yeah.' Azul answered back. He was already on his way out when he felt something enter him. "Huh?!"

System: Carbuncle Aeon acquired. Charisma + 1

'That is what is here? Ah well. Nice to meet you Carbuncle.' Azul thought to the little creature. It looked like a miniature person more than anything else. The only thing different from human's was that it had insect like wings and A insect helmet on.

'Nice to be here Summoner. Can I go and play with big sis Yunalesca?' The little Aeon thought back. Azul agreed and the little creature moved towards Yunalesca in Azul's Nether World.

"Hmm I am not walking all the way back." Azul said as he stepped out the room. "Teleport." He said demurely. He appeared right outside by the others. "Did you guys and gals wait long?"

"Sching!" Sapphire pointed a spear at him. Her fur stood on end as Azul had spooked her.

"Do not do that jeez!" Sapphire said. She calmed down once she realized it was Azul. "Yeah we waited long. Had to beat up a few guards that tried to rob us."

"Oh, where are they now?" Azul asked eyes squinted. Sapphire pointed to the guard shack where a few people were tied up waiting for higher ups to deal with them. "Be right back." Azul walked over and washed his magic over them. He indoctrinated them for safe measure to keep them from blabbing. As well as planted the suggestion for them to work hard in keeping the area clear of monsters. A way for them to atone for the robbing.

System: Paragon quest unlock. Chain quest: Instead of killing change the behavior of those who wish to cause harm. Rewards vary.

'Ah permission to enslave people for the greater good. I am not going to dig deep into that at all.' Azul thought as he finished. He turned to the group and gathered them into a circle. "We are just going to Teleport to the others.." Azul said to them. "I have enough magic to do it with ease. And since my target is myself, it will be easy. Grab hold." Each of them did so and they were gone in an instant.

-Next day-

The party was now together again and Azul had just fused back with himself. Feeling the additional magic was nice. Going through the new information not so much. The group was preparing to set out but Seymour wanted to watch the Summoner battles in the area. He picked up a weird d.e.s.i.r.e to watch fights from the Azul that was here over the years.

The Summoner battles were a way for the Summoners and the Aeons to get to know each better. Out of life and death situations against Sin. A small little competition that started all across Spira to see who was the strongest summoner ended up happening on its own. Much more intense and organized than the little Summoner duels that originally existed in the World. Another change with the times from Azul influence or from the Aeons that returned with him.

An Al Bhed Summoner had walked over to bother Azul. Another strange thing that happened. Rikku had made the Al Bhed better but they ended up gaining a bit of a superiority complex towards humans. With Rikku have showcased advance intelligence at a young age the others followed suit. The Al Bhed were not a ragtag Nomad group this time around. They were more of elite assholes now.

"Listen here chuckles, I do not have the patience to deal with you. So do your self a favor and back off!" AzuI said to the Al Bhed summoner. He was quite fed up with the man already. 'This idiot gets to exist again, ugh why my luck! If I could sense Inferna I would rip him apart to get her back.'

"You are just afraid you are going to lose to me is all. All mighty master Summoner. Hah! I say it is a hoax by the rest of you humans." He looked over to Riku and smirked. "I told you he was a coward. He is undeserving of your company. The other guy is as well. He barely has magic." He pointed at Tidus. "You waited so long for a wimp."

"I have told you time and time again. I am not interested in anyone else." Riku pointed at the man. Her biotics strands felt she was generally angry at the other Al Bhed. "Do yourself a favor and drop it. I am serious Raiza, he will kill you. I may not like you much, but I do not want you to die." Riku stopped talking when she noticed the man was not listening. She turned and look at Azul shrugging her shoulders. "He is determined to get himself killed."

"Come on fight wimpy man," Raiza said again. He was enjoying taunting Azul in front of the crowd.

"Pass." AzuI kept sitting down and went back to talking with Speedy. He felt the biotic strands leave from Skarlet and Anima. They were getting angry. Skarlet wanted to rip the guy apart. Anima wanted me to punch him in the mouth.

"I wouldn't fight either.." he gestured at the crowd. "..especially if I had such a weak pathetic summons." Raiza said looking at Speedy. "I heard you are a descendant of the survivors of Zanarkand? Part of the survivors that ran away from Bevelle's might." A few people frowned at the Al Bhed. Considering they were just a mutation of humans kinda pissed them off. They were not that different besides the eyes and that they could hold their breath a little longer. "Pathetic."

"Ok, now you are really pissing me off." AzuI looked at Speedy next. 'Head back bud, we will talk later.'

'No problem. Kick him in the teeth for me Senor.' With that Speedy disappeared into motes of light..

AzuI stood up and walked over to Raiza. "Ok now. If we are doing this.. we do it for keeps. Death Match. I do not want to waste my time any other way."

"Fwoosh!" He drew the spear from out of the air. The magic that washed off was powerful and reflected his anger. Azul pointed the end directly at him.

A few oohh and ahhs went out in the crowd that gathered. A few of the Al Bhed tried to convince him to step down. From what AzuI could tell, it was not going to work. Wakka walked up to him.

"Eh, are you really going to fight him?" He looked a little concerned. "I do not think you can win yah?"

"Easy bro. I bet you Azul will win." Chappu said from the side.

"Oh, did not think you cared." AzuI looked at him, then dismissed his concerns. "It will be easy." Wakka walked back and him and Chappu exchanged words.

"It is a deal." Raiza stepped forward shrugging the hands of his friends. He stretched his hands out and then summoned his partner.

"Boom!" The ground in front of him broke open. Fresh magma poured out of the opening. Outstretched an Ifrit summons. The weird thing about it was the eyes and that it looked very slender compared to ones he remembered. The Ifrit stared at Azul. It eyes looked apologetic but it was not condescending. It didn't want to die. It feared Azul and his weapons.

"Sorry about that." Raising his hands up above, a small fissure formed. Then a tearing sound rang out as teeth ripped into reality. A dragon head popped out. Opening its eyes it gazed at everyone present.

"Roaarr!" It roared in fury. "Foolish!" Bahamut said as it tore its way out. Technically it was Azul. He still felt everything it did and vice versa. It was becoming very easy to control since it was an extension of himself, even while angered. Stepping out, Bahamut moved down toward the ground and hovered over the area.

"Let us begin shall we." Jumping forward Bahamut opened its mouth to bite at the Ifrit's head. You have to give it to Raiza, he reacted fast and had his summon jump in the air. While sailing up, it already started to use the signature move of its species.

A fireball of pressure started to form. In the center, it had traces of rock. Once it formed, the Ifrit looked back at Bahamut before bringing its fist down. Spiking it down towards him, Bahamut stood there. Right before it hit, he threw up a biotic shield incased in water.

"Boom!" Bahamut slid back only an inch. He licked his fingers and stared at the Ifrit. It still had fear in its eyes. The Ifrit stared down towards its summoner as if pleading to stop.

"Go, we have him on the ropes!" Raiza yelled. He sent more magic out to the Ifrit. With the additional power, it charged at Bahamut in a large swipe. Following behind was a stream of of fire.

Bahamut ducked the blow and brought its head low to the ground. Activating Adrenaline Rush, Bahamut pushed up on its hands and went directly for its neck.

"Chomp!" Caught in its mouth, Bahamut bit down hard. With the size difference, Ifrit was slammed into the ground easily. A talon pushed down on its c.h.e.s.t and ripped out the summons throat.

"Aggh!" The Ifrit g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain. Looking at its eyes, Bahamut stretched down on it again and bit down once more. This time going for the side of the neck ripping it out more. Seeing it twitch, Bahamut backed away and watched. Feeling the pain it felt, AzuI stepped forward himself. Pulling it towards himself, AzuI blasted it with magic engulfing its entire body. He found the link between the two and severed it.

He took the summons from Raiza. He wouldn't need it anymore.

"What did you do?" Raiza asked panicked. He then fell on his b.u.t.t scared. AzuI walked up to him with his spear pointed out.

"What are you doing?!" Screamed Tidus.

"It is a Death Match. I am holding up my end." AzuI said to him like he lost his marbles. "Did you not pay attention in class?" Azul remembered that he fought Tidus a little last time during this same incident. Checking with the Ifrit, he found the summoner was not that bad. However another of the members was quite the handful. He tortured the summons and called it training. The guardian convinced the Summoner Raiza with ease. "Your life instead. You are his guardian after all."

The guardian looked at Azul fearful and started to back away.

"But you already won." Said Yuna coming over. "Why not just let it go?"

"No, I haven't." Azul said to her with a smile. "You have not one a Death Match till someone is dead. The agreed upon party or... a guardian. It is their honor to give their life after all."

"But he cant fight anymore." Said Tidus. "He cannot be much of a Summoner anymore right?"

"He could just do another trial." Anima said. She looked at Azul to see what he would do.

AzuI turned away from Tidus and saw that his kill had scampered away. "Where do you think you are going?" AzuI walked forward trying to finish the job. Stabbing out his spear he was surprised to see it was intercepted by two people. The Sword Brotherhood that Tidus wielded blocked him. Along with Chappu wielding another sword. AzuI gave them a side glance and said what he thought was polite enough," you are in my way. Move children now please."

"I cant just watch as you kill someone." Tidus said.

"We are on the same side. You cannot just kill a guardian like that." Chappu said.

"Then close your eyes or turn away." Azul said to them still smiling. "I am serious. I am going to kill him. If you get in my way I will hurt you both. If need be, I will cripple you and come back and heal after I take out Sin. So easy fix."

"I am not gonna move!" Tidus stood there defiant. Chappu nodded agreeing with him. Azul found it funny that the two really were similar.

"So be it." Stepping forward, AzuI pushed against the sword's knocking them off balance. Before they could fix their footing, he shot pure magic out.

"Woom! Woom." Two magic waves carried them away a few feet.

Seeing the Al Bhed guardian running away passed his party. AzuI poured magic into the spear and pointed it at him. "Concussive Shot!"

"Wooom. Pow!" The charged-up spell sailed through the air and caught him in the back. He went tumbling to the ground and skid to a stop. "Woom!" The magic then imploded after contact and s.u.c.k.e.d in all the blood leaving a mummy behind.

"No!" A summoner to the side cast a healing spell. Azul watched as the man body started to restore itself. She had used Raise and Regen in succession. A very promising caster.

System: Dexterity Check 26 Pass

Tidus came back at Azul and struck at his back in anger. AzuI sidestepped and watched as the blade passed in front of his face. "To slow." Azul commented. He gave Tidus a look and taunted him with his eyes.

"Hah! Murderer!" Chappu swung with a side slash towards Azul's arm. It was parried and the man was forced to the side. Both he and Tidus thrust with their swords toward Azul in anger.

"Fwoosh!" Both swords stabbed through A flame illusion. Azul turned into fire and reappeared behind them both. "Fwoosh!" The flame dazed the two as it flared up.

"Behind you!" Wakka and Rikku yelled together. They left themselves wide open. So AzuI cold-c.o.c.ked them in the face when they turned around.

"Whack, whack!" Tidus head rocked as he stepped back. Chappu took the hit a little better. He raised his sword a little.

"Ching!" Azul struck the blade with his spear. The ringing was enough to cause the few Ronso in the area to wince. Azul let the spear float to the side as he looked at Chappu. The thought of killing passed his thoughts. It would right the World a little bit since he is suppose to be dead. But that would be a little extreme. He settled for giving him a mark he wouldn't forget.

"Bad little guardian. You are very weak." Azul said with a smile. "I cannot have you protecting my son Seymour so weak you understand?" The question was rhetorical as Azul grabbed Chappu by the face and cut him. He left a spear mark on his cheek. It was infused with magical power. "Much better, not so weak anymore."

"Thump!" He dropped the man like a sack of potatoes. Azul walked over to Tidus and just stared at him. His head moving as he looked at the man curious. He never really gave it much thought but.. now he couldnt for the life him understand why he did not just kill him and add him to his power. He was by all counts a summon. His skill was there later, but right now he was just weak and impulsive.

"Mental Cleansing." Azul used the spell on himself to help clear his thoughts. Nothing changed. He was neither rash or under the influence right now. It was just a passing thought nothing more. "Haa, was a little worried for a bit."

"Ugh." Tidus recovered and looked at Azul and raised his sword. He looked to the side and saw the mark on Chappu and frowned.

"What are you doing Tidus?" AzuI asked him sounding well.. bored to even himself. "Do you wish to fight me? You know you can not win."

"Ha..ha..ha, trying to stop you." He looked at Azul angrily but helpless. "You killed that man. In cold blood at that."

"Are you that worried about him?" AzuI rocked his head side to side. "Well, he will die from the wounds. So there's that. The healer is doing a really good job however. But I can feet it from here. She will fail and his soul will break for what he has done." AzuI placed the spear against his shoulder and looked down at Tidus. "He needs to pay for what he has done to Aeons he has come across. Abuse is still abuse you understand?"

"Grr." A few guardians grumbled a little in the crowd. They were part of the group that just saw Aeons as tools to fight with. Just bits of magic and pyreflies.

"You could just stop." Yuna said.

"Hmm sure. But .. nah. It does not matter." Azul shook his head and walked away. He felt the soul of the guardian part. It was taken by the spear without anyone's notice.

"Thanks for stopping." Tidus said smiling. Looking back, he saw the guy had stopped moving. As well as the healer slumped over. "What did you do to him?" He questioned calling back at Azul.

"I told you he would die from the wounds." AzuI shrugged his shoulders and walked back to the group. He stopped at other guardians. "I ripped his summons away from him." He pointed at Raiza. "His Guardian was undeserving of his life and mistreated Aeons. Some of you might do the same. I am just letting you know, if I find out I will kill you and rip your summons from you."

"Who are you to do that?!" A summoner cried out.

"Yeah! Who gave you the authority?!" Another summoner called.

"Snap!" Azul snapped his fingers and summoned Bahamut in it's full glory. It towered over the area as his magic had made it much larger. Its presence commanded their respect. A few weaker summons were forced to kneel on the ground. Yuna was not excluded from it.

System: Conditions met. Obelisk the Tormentor has granted Bahamut its full power.

"I did myself, with the help of Bahamut here." Azul looked at the entire crowd. His right eye glowed with the power from the Millennium Eye. "So, if you think you can treat Aeon's as your plaything and mistreat them, we should talk right now." His smiled looked devilish as he waited for any takers. "No one? Really?" As he gazed out, his magic was passing Indoctrination on the weak willed. A punishment as well as making them spies as they traveled.

"I think that is enough Grand Maestar Summoner." A woman that was able to walk in the crowd said. She moved to Azul with a little difficulty. "They will do better. I think it best not to punish them, since Sin is still free."

"Meh." Azul shrugged and Bahamut took a deep breath taking in the biotic strands gaining more strength. It then turned to motes of light and entered Azul. "Well who are you?"

"Just a passerby." The Summoner said. She did a curtsy, which surprised the hell out of Azul. The woman then went to help a few people recover.

"Well that is someone new. Not weak that is for sure." Azul said. Anima came up on his left. "What is it?"

"Nothing. Proud of you for sticking up for us." Anima smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "However, maybe choose your targets better. Yuna and Seymour look ill." Azul looked over and smiled a little. "Bad man." Anima pinched his side and walked away.

"I know you felt the Aeon's pain Yuna. You as well Seymour." AzuI searched her eyes to make sure she understood. He looked at Seymour who couldn't help but nod. He felt afraid of Azul for the first time. "If you ever become like that... I will not help you in the future. I may even kill you both myself."

Yuna shook her head in understanding. She looked at the dead Guardian and grimaced in pain. Seymour just stared at the ground thinking.

"Poor girl, to soft for this world." AzuI said before walking to a small space. Raising his hands in the air, he watched as the Ifrit reappeared. It looked more human than before from feeding a little on his magic. "You are not her. Your freedom is yours if you want it. Ok, so whats your choice? Breakaway from the cycle, return till some other summoner make a contract, or would you rather I eat you or something?"

"I want to travel. But I do not have the strength to." She looked at Yuna then shook her head. "Not a good fit. We would just hurt each other." She then looked to the crowd. "Not disciplined enough." Sighing the Ifrit looked back at Seymour. "May I go with him?"

Lluvia: It would be a way to help him become stronger. He could talk to her and learn the plight of the Aeon's himself. This is a Paragon mission I wholeheartedly approve of.

"Very well." As soon as Azul agreed she disappeared into Seymour. Azul walked over to help him go through the process. With out the cloister of trials, the raw magic could hurt Seymour. They both received visions of her life in Zanarkand before the war happened. She was just a young woman no more than 14 or 16. Through the visions, Azul spotted Inferna not to far away. Another scene showed her dealing with some people and sailing away somewhere. "When there is a time we will talk Seymour. For now just slowly talk with your Aeons. You can learn a lot from them."

"Thank you." Seymour said softly.

System: Inferna can now return. Would you like to do so?

'Yes!' Azul agreed immediately.

"Fwoosh!" A ring of fire appeared and out popped Inferna in her Ifrit form. The slight difference was her horns. They traveled down to her back and curved outward.

"Hey stranger." Azul walked over and cupped her face. His True Fire Rune glowed with power. Inferna rubbed her head against his face and vanished. 'I see. So you took all the one' were willing to listen and fled. No wonder I couldn't find you. You led a full life and turned yourself into an Aeon in your old age.' Feeling her memories as she shared them, Azul smiled happily. At least she fared better than Ariel did.

"You can speak to the summons?" Yuna asked shocked. "You even treat them like regular people."

"Yeah so can you. Right?" Azul said. "I mean dont you?"

"I get a general feeling, but other than that no." She shook her head. "Can you teach me?"

"No." AzuI didn't want to spend that much time around her honestly. Then he remembered that Rikku wanted to take her away from this World. "I do not know how I do it, nor do I want to know." Seeing her sad face he sighed. "Look, you do not want to know what they are saying. You are delicate enough as it is. If you knew what they had to say, you would.. most likely go nuts."

"I can take it!" Yuna said raising her voice. "I want to help them to!"

"Ok. Then give me your hand." Azul said. Yuna offered her hand with hesitation. She was not over what happened a few minutes ago. "Slowly relax and look into my eyes. Now.. Embrace Life!" Azul used his Pather Power on her. He shared with her only the means in which to communicated with Aeons. He mostly had a feeling not actual understanding how he did it.

A few hours passed and it was finished. Azul felt his head started hurting something fierce. But Yuna could now understand Aeons. As if she was speaking that way her entire life. She was practicing with Valefor on the side.

"Huh?" Azul felt a tingle in his arm. Flexing his fingers, he watched as a white light formed. "Regular Cosmos power." Channeling energy in his other arm, he felt the change. Dark Cosmos power formed.

Lluvia: You need to head to Warhammer 30k-40k at once. Something strange is happening.

"Rikku, Skarlet, Anima and Sapphire come here!" As soon as they were close, he threw up a barrier. Then he used the Auxiliary Field.

"I have to go away for a bit." AzuI looked at Rikku. "Part of me will still be here but it won't be as strong as me. I have to send a lot this time. So I won't pull another stunt like before. If anything major happens, I will come back completely. There shouldn't be anything major for a while." Looking to Skarlet he spoke softer. "I want you to stay with them. It is safer here than were I am going. I have to get answers on the Spear."

"But my place is at your side!" Skarlet protested. Her biotic strands almost caused Azul to throw up. She thought he was abandoning her. She was desperate to remain close by.

"I know that!" AzuI said strongly. "But where I am going, I do not want you going there. Not now or really in the future. This is a good place for you to train. And I trust them to teach you a lot."

"Argggh fine." Skarlet pouted. She was disappointed in him. So were the others. "Just come back stronger or do not bother coming back!"

'Not gonna lie, that hurt to hear her say that.' Azul thought. He could feel his power warning him not to leave her behind. E felt it before when he decided not to take Lettie with him to a dangerous place. "Fine! Skarlet, you come within in me. Do not get out unless I say so."

"Whee yes!" Skarlet cheered and turned to blood instantly. She engulfed Azul and buried herself inside as quick as possible.

"I will make it up to you I promise." Seeing the anger start to surface, he left. They still weren't happy with what he told them on the boat. As well as the conversation earlier in the day. "I love you Anima, do not forget that. And you two are ok." Azul smiled before his eyes dimmed.

"Hmm, this version of him doesn't have that presence. I do not like it at all." Anima said as she poked the Azul that was left.

"Hey, that's rude," AzuI said. "Its still me just not the full me. Also I am not one of "those" who are waiting for him to wake up. I have his memoires and everything else. Well I do need a weapon." Anima passed a spear over to him. Thinking about it, he should have kept a Growlanser ring on this body.

"How weird you are though. You feel more.. nice I guess." Sapphire said.

"We should get back with the others." Rikku said next. "He is right about nothing happening majorly for the next few days. Perfect time to train ourselves and them."
