Crap, I Was Rifted

System: Eldar Goddess Isha acquired. Healing spells increased. Regeneration increased. Effects locked until leaving World.

'Oh come on!' Azul thought angry. The only good thing was that if he died she was still leaving with him. 'But at least Tiffany was recovered easy enough.'

Fighting in the Warp was not pretty. But he found Tiffany easy enough. Broken Webway fragments made it easy. Isha helped him locate them and close each of them as he moved. The weirdest thing was laughing that could be heard every now and then.

It was ignored since his priority was getting Tiffany and leaving. Isha also informed him it was not anything serious. The other odd thing, he was cut off from his Operators. Skarlet felt cagey inside his bloodstream. She was growing in power the more he traveled the web ways.

Tiffany was found standing over the bodies of countless Bloodletters and Chaos Warriors. The Chaos Warriors were not from this timeline. They looked like men and women from the Dark Ages. Closer look identified them as those From Warhammer Fantasy.

"Everyone is doing great." Candace said coming up to him. It was the first time she spoke to Azul since the confrontation against Tzeentch. "Are you ok Boss?"

"Yeah.. mean no. But I will be." Azul pushed the thoughts away for later. Turning to give Candace his full attention, he had to ask. "You feeling better?"

"Yes." Candace gave a warm smile. "You should have hit us with a full blast of Mental Cleansing. It would have sped things up."

"Maybe, but I needed the energy just in case. And everyone needed to work things out for themselves more." Azul said with a small smile. "I understand a bit more of my Pather Power. You said you wish to be a doctor right?"

"As well as an Engineer and a Soldier to help out." Candace added. "I think I am on my way to do that easily enough now. You have provided everything I needed. I just need to put in the work now." Seeing Azul still smile at her, Candace asked why the question. "What are you getting at?"

"I can put you in that "Path" directly." Azul said grabbing her hands. "Using my power to help you push the negative traits or what you no longer want out of the way."

"Hmm, I have made peace with the Batarian slaver thing. But I really want the nightmares to end. Can you do that?"

"Yes. My power will just cause you to get rid of them when it comes up. It is weak now, but targeting just the nightmares, will help a lot for your mental state." Azul said. "It will give you more of a fighting chance against outside influence."

"Then do it. Better than therapy if I can rely on myself a little more." Candace said demurely. She gripped Azul's hands even tighter. Her biotic strands pouring into him. "Please."

"Right. We are going to take it slow." Azul wrapped them both up in his biotic energy and canceled outside influence out. 'Pather-Rewrite!' Azul thought to her. Slowly he could feel and see the part of Candace that was plagued by the Batarians.

System: Intelligence 34 Pass Tri-Force of Wisdom activated.

They slowly pushed it away inside her soul to a small location. Candace shook in shame at the younger version of herself that had to work for the Xenos. Pulling the memories and emotions apart, Azul reconstructed the energy into something more beneficial for her.

The more Candace faced what happened, the stronger she would become. The more the memories would dwindle. The less disgust she would feel with herself. If Azul was stronger., he would have been able to redo the entirety of it. But that was power and understanding he was not even close to accessing yet.

He stopped and took an extra 10 minutes to change something. A small genetic problem in her psyker power. Isha made sure it healed completely and returned to normal.

"Phew!" Azul blew out a little air as he pulled back. He was extremely tired and his soul felt raw. "That will take getting used to."

'That is good.' Azul thought back. He looked at Candace who stared unblinking at him. "What?"

"Nothing. Just... I feel my mind has gone up. By like a lot." Candace gave a shrug and felt her wrist vibrate. "Ah, have to check on something to give to those people."

"Woosh!" She ran off at breakneck speed. Azul thinks she didn't even know how she did it.

"Well, time for a nap." Azul stretched and moved to one of the tents. Inside, Tiffany was working on some armor modifications. "Remember to rest sometime." His eyes washed over to check for any problems. He found none but she was looking forward to fighting. 'Hmm, hope everything is ok with her. She said he was fine and medical checks said the same thing.'

"Uh-huh." Tiffany answered. Azul laid down and went to sleep. As soon as he was out, Tiffany looked at him with a small smile. She then went back to fixing her armor. 'We will make it soon. I cannot wait to fight her.' A flash of red shined in her eyes. "Tomorrow we fight." She whispered.

Over at another tent.

Candace was thinking to herself as she looked over the lab results. She paused and passed it over to a nearby Techmarine to take over.

'I am way more focus now.' Checking her stats, she was shocked. 'My Willpower went up by 25 points. Did I really have a big problem with what happened?' Sending a message to Zelda she wanted answers quickly.

Zelda: I will look into it. It may be from Azul helping your soul directly. An after-effect.

Azul was woken from his slumber by a Quest alert. Checking it, he sat upright. It was something that needed to be dealt with.

System: Investigate Warp Anomaly. Failure will result in the death of a Follower.

"Tch!" Smacking his teeth in annoyance, Aul sent a message to his designated Leaders. "I am hiding out. Continue the good work." Sharing the new information he left in a Rift that opened.

-Blood Challenge-

In a piece of Warp space, the area was completely covered in blood. Tangible psychic energy formed into creatures. Bloodletters and Khorne Jggernauts appeared. The Juggernauts kicked in bucked in furry. These Daemonic steads were borne or bred to kill. Bone plates formed to protect the body. Completely different than the usual metal plates the creatures had.

With a wave of her hand, Tiffany killed the fresh creatures with ease. Her focus was only a little on her surroundings. In front of her was a very large Daemon of Chaos. A champion of Khorne the Blood God. Her name was Valkia.

The Daemon Had black horns that twisted to the back. Raven black hair drenched in blood. Every bit of armor piece that had a point, was as sharp as the most master-crafted blade. A few skulls decorated her belt.

Tiffany fought as hard as she could, but the Daemon Valkia was just too resilient. As it brought its weapons down for a final strike, it retreated in fear unexpectantly. Something dangerous shined in Tiffany's eyes.

'What is that.' Looking into her eyes, black swirls were visible. Countless stars were pulled to the center. 'I must kill her before it is too late!' Valkia was no fool. There was playing and enjoying herself for her Lord Khorne's amus.e.m.e.nt, and then there was foolishness. Her jagged spear pointed forward to stab.

"Ugghhh!" Tiffany g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain as she tried to grab hold of the power. She felt Azul was close by sending more power to her helping. "Hurry!" She cried out.

"Bwoom!" A piece of warp space appeared. Out stepped Azul. But it was the Eldar version. He stabbed out with the spear of Khorne. "Bwoom!" Another tear in warp space appeared as the other Azul came out covered in green bile.

"Stupid Nurgle. I am gonna make him pay for that maggot pit." Azul spat. Seeing a few daemons charging, he went to engage them in combat. "So many of you, just not a fair fight!"

"Woosh!" The sheer force pushed the surprised daemon back. Valkia recovered quickly enough. As her wings beat loudly. Blood energy fed in repairing any damage she received.

"Mental Cleaning!" Azul cast quickly. "Curaja!" Tiffany was instantly healed to full health. "Fair fight now. Hold nothing back against the traitor of her people. False warrior goddess my ass!"

"What do you know of me?!" Valkia howled. The Mental cleansing had disrupted her thoughts greatly.

"You killed all those who love you and let your pride lead to the end of your people. It is funny that a Slaanesh Daemon Prince sent you on that journey." Azul teased. "You were so much better before then. A bit of humanity left, despite all those that you killed. Do you still hear the blood gurgling of your brother and your last daughter?"

"I am beyond that!" Valkia's face twisted in fury. Her spear stabbed once sending a hundred strikes. "You know nothing!"

Azul just made a magic shield and stared at her. His look of pity driving the Daemon into a fury.

"Hehehe and that is why you are weak. You will always be weak because of that. All that power from Khorne now and nothing really to show for it." Azul outstretched his hands and targeted her. His eyes glazed over in power. "Embrace Life!"

"Aaaahhhhh!" Valkia let out a blood-curdling shriek as her humanity was brought back to the surface furthur. Her times as a human boring into her soul through all the fighting and killing she had done. "No!" She did everything to force it down. "She was weak! She failed!"

"I did not need.." Tiffany started to say. She felt he was going to far interrupting her fight now. Azul cut her off.

"Smack!" He backhand her without looking. This knocked sense into her. Tiffany's eyes gained focus as she felt the emotions pour into her. Her Pather power responded happily to Azul's much stronger and more developed Pather power.

"You forget we are human. Even with all the things added inside, we were born human." Azul said angrily. "We can turn into other lives with various abilities and help. But we were born human. Everything else will feel foreign to us, no matter how much you try. Do not just give in and accept the easy path. Do not be like Valkia and turn away your humanity."

"I understand." Tiffany gave a nod and took control of her Dark Cosmos power. The Chaos Energy slowly pushed out and was swallowed by the Dark Cosmo power. "Thank you for leaving me with Control."

"Thump!" The other Azul landed. He moved to his counterpart and they fused instantly. Powered up, he went to deal with the Horde of Daemons coming out. But fate had something else in store for him.

"Haaa man this has been a trip." Azul mumbled. 'Not a good idea to come into the warp like this ever again. To ... ugh. My own body feels foreign to me.' Taking the time to restore himself, he felt the increase in power shoot up again as memories were exchanged with himself.

Hilda and Isha smooth things over pretty damn well. Skarlett helped regulate his insides better. The Human modified body worked way better than the Eldar one.

"Dum dum dum!" Drums started to beat as the Bloodletters stepped to the side. They made way for the Greatest Daemon Prince of Khorne coming out of the warp.

A large Bloodthirster, of unimaginable fury. The Daemon was the embodiment of Rage manifest. A creature of twisted violence that caused those nearby to retreat. A few nearby did not move in time.

"Vroom, vroom!" Two vibrations went out from the Daemon's weapons. The axes reaped the blood and skulls without distinction. Instantly thousands upon thousands died and fed the axes.

"Skarbrand... shit my luck." Azul pulled all his power to the forefront to fight. Almost nothing was in reserves. "All-Buff!" Surging with a one cast of everything he had, Azul was still a little fearful. The memory of the daemon actually injuring Khorne played in his mind. It had been beaten before, so there is that. "This bastard actually injured Khorne once. That is some serious power."

"Vroom!" Azul's body vibrated discarding his fear instantly. The Tri-force of Wisdom at work helping to clear away doubt.

"Rooooar!" Skarbrand did not talk, he just roared. The biotic strands told Azul everything he needed. One of them would fall today. Skarbrand's axes Carnage & Slaughter were at the ready.

"Woosh!" Skarbrand's axe came across its c.h.e.s.t. "Wham!" It smacked into Azul's sword and shattered it instantly. The swords turned into magic and was almost s.u.c.k.e.d in by the daemon. Azul reacted fast enough to absorb it in the Millenium Eye.

"Ughh!" Azul g.r.o.a.n.e.d as he felt a surge of power from the Millenium Eye. Something was trying to get out. "Not now!" Dodging another swing, Azul rolled in the blood before stopping against a Bloodletter. "Hi.. how are things?"

"Hehehe fight. Fight!" The Bloodletter actually picked Azul up and pushed him forward. "Blood for the blood god!"

"Rooooarr!" Skarbrand's cry caused the blood to start to rise. Little balls of blood containing faces of those who fell were visible. "You.. are lesser.. Not worthy.."

"Holy f.u.c.k.i.n.g shit! You can talk?!" Azul honestly expected it to just gurgle. "Man the lore is a lie!" Stepping back, he tried to form another weapon. Nothing happened. "Flame Fist!" He needed more power output. "Overlord's Fury!"

"Fwoosh!" Fire formed around his feet and hands. "Fwoosh!" A little bit of flames protected his body as it shifted. Two flame fist formed above as well as the cannons.

"A coward.. will die .. quickly.. you know fear.." Skarbrand taunted Azul as it slowly walked forward. Axes swinging down to meet the Overlord's fist.

"Boom!" An imaginable pressure engulfed the area from the first swing. "Boom!" The second swing knocked the others off their feet. Valkia and Tiffany moved to fight furthur away.

"Fear is a part of nature!" Azul flipped back and sent a set of Flame Arrows at its face. As the three arrows went out, Azul floated in the air channeling the surrounding energy into the cannons. "Shit needs a little more time. Charging is needed."

System: Intelligence Check Auto Pass

'Shit its armor negated most range!' Thinking that he watched as the Flame Arrows dissipated in front. The flame hands wrapped around Azul's arms with a thought. He grabbed the Cannons and used them as gauntlets with a slight change in the designs. 'Glad you agree Vegnagun.'

Adrenaline Rush & Focus activated in again with a simple thought.

"Raaaahr!" Skarbrand roared in fury at the attempt from Azul with the flames. It was insulted at the petty display. "Pathetic!" The left axe came at Azul with blinding speed. Ducking the blow, Azul struck at the Axe.

"Ping!" A small crack formed. The Eldar Flames could only do so much. "Ping!" Azul delivered another strike to it in the same spot. This time an inch long scratch appeared. Inside he could feel the soul of the Bloodthirster inside.

'Mine!' Azul used the power he gained from the Asari and Slaanesh teachings. Siphoning parts of the soul. 'Dark Chains of Andromeda!' With a thought they left From Azul's back and wrapped around the weapon.

Skarbrand swung the other axe right towards Azul. The large weapon would cause severe pain if he didnt move. Azul jumped back to get out the way. The size difference between the two was making things hard.

"Wham!" Skarbrand struck the ground. With a turn, the axe pushed up more through the ground. Skarband pushed forward dislodging its weapon from the chains. Blood covered rocks flew at Azul.

"Chink!" The strain against the chains were to much. They still hadn't recovered from the fight with Khaine. Returning them, Azul dodged between the blood-covered rocks.

"Woosh!" Teleporting to Skarbrand's head, he flipped and did a heel drop. With the flame's pushing from his back, he spun like a wheel delivering another three kicks before having to move back.

Skarbrand swung the other axe up. Azul teleported while moving. The axe missed. In a split second, he returned back in place. A double-handed fist strike hit the shaft of the axe. A small spider web crack appeared. Azul took in a large portion of the soul from within.

"Raaah!" Skarbrand s.u.c.k.e.d in the air as it moved its head at Azul. The baleful arm wrapped his target suspending the use of psychic powers. The left horn glowed with power as he stabbed Azul in the c.h.e.s.t.

"Aaaaahhhhhhh!" Azul let out a blood-curdling scream. The horn had a burning power that sent intense power through his muscles. "Rahhh!" Focusing his strength into a strike, Black Cosmos gathered around his right fist.

"Bang!" The horn was broken off. The blowback broke the gauntlet off Azul's fist. He could feel the psychic backlash from Vegnagun. Unsummoning it relieved some of the pain. Encased only in flames, Azul felt the effects of Regen take over.

"Whew, that hits the spot." Azul broke free of the hold. Falling down he was forced to dodge the onslaught from Skarbrand. As he moved he continued to strike the one axe damaging it more. Skarbrand's speed increased with each swing. 'Almost there.'

"Vrooom!" A large pulse of psychic energy gathered around Azul signaling the end of a small preparation. The True runes on his left and right hand started glowing. His fire Aeon Inferna shot out and The Water Aeon Ariel went to the side.

Ariel spread out a wave of blood water. Weaving it into thousands of hands. The hands traveled down the throats of the daemons. The biting and slashing doing nothing to deter her. With a pull, she ripped the spines through the mouths. The fresh blood adding to her control. The water built into a larger wave. It washed away all the daemons again that made it back.

'This place is filthy.' Ariel floated back to Azul. She dr.a.p.ed over his shoulder transferring the power back to him. 'Wrap this up, I want a better place for you. This place is eating away at you.'

Inferna turned into her Ifrit form. Azul raised his hands up. Using the Biotic Move Lift, Skarbrand's large body was lifted into the air under his control. He floated him higher into the air as Inferna gather her flames. A giant white meteor formed.

"Whhhaaammm!" Azul slammed Skarbrand into the ground.

"Pah!" Inferna fired the Meteor directly down. Skarband recovered and swung his axe to intercept. This what Azul was waiting on. He summoned the Slaanesh sword and threw it directly at the other Axe.

"Kaboom!" The Meteor was destroyed. Feeling the threat of the sword, Skarbrand turned to strike it. "Ching!" Knocking it away, left him open to Inferna. She came down in a dive. Turning into a spin, she turned into a flaming tornado.

"To.. slow.." Skarbrand said. Its wing spread out. Right as it started to counter, the Slaanesh sword came back around. "Grrr." Growling it turned to deal with the swords instead.

"Woosh!" Azul Teleported to Inferna. He buffed her Attack and defense. Casting Haste accelerated her descent.

'Hit him hard.' Azul thought to her. Placing his hands togethor he ripped away Warp Space. Dark cosmos wrapped into his left fist. Dark Ki wrapped into his rift fist. Placing his hands togethor he wrapped it all togethor. "I honestly do not care if this place collapses."

A black-red ball formed between his hand. Azul was ripping the Immaterium to fuel the attack. A grisly voice played in the background. Khorne was paying attention and seemed amused.

System: Awakened Dark Hado (Satsui no Hado)

"Boom!" Inferno smashed into Skarbrand's head. She broke off the rest of the horns. Creating little flame wh.i.p.s, she snatched them away bringing them to Azul.

"Umm, this thing is tough." Inferna's voice came out husky. She licked her lips causing Azul to blink rapidly. He was trying to see if that really happened. "I am gonna give you all my power, I want to talk later."

"Fwish!" Flames wrapped around Azul. The Dark Hado between his hands burned in intensity. White light gathered. Azul's regular Cosmos power came to the surface.

Skarbrand looked up and snarled. That lax in time allowed Slaanesh to come back around with a thought. Skarbrand threw the cracked axe at it.

"Ping!" The axe shattered inflicting a wound on the Slaanesh sword.

Health -123

"Kuff!" Azul spat up blood from the backlash. His blood swirled into the Hado. Skarbrand flapped its wings and flew straight up. "Bastard. Hado.. ken!"

"Wooosh!" The air itself pulled into the black-white ball. The flame burning even hotter growing in power. "Boooom!" The explosion sent Azul flying into the air. He couldnt tell if he did any real damage to his oppent. However, he could feel the Realm screaming in pain.

As the red mist cleared, he teleported down. Azul spotted a large hole. Inside was nothing but blood.

"Sooo where the hell is he?" Looking around he couldnt see the Daemon. Regen bringing him back to full health. 'I need to upgrade my Rune marks. The way I fight, they are not keeping up. I can feel the pain from my Aeons.' Talking with them, he tried to think of a plan to end everything.

"Bloop!" The blood-covered hole started to ripple. Skarbrand climbed out larger than before. Armor destroyed and the one axe damaged finally. His teeth turned feral as it grinned.

System: Intelligence Check 55 Pass

'I will do my best to help you.' Skarlet said from within. 'This is dangerous my Khan. But I think you can succeed.' Slowly his blood started to speed up even more with her help.

'I will keep your Soul in chck for signs of corruption.' Hilda answered. Her fevered gaze made Isha slightly worried. 'This will be a great test.'

"This will either seal it for me, or end me." Azul let the power of the Millenium Eye out. The power of his Nether World poured out next and warped his body. "Ahhhhh!" Feeling his body stretching impossibly, caused him to feel a new level of pain. 'Nothing like turning into a Dragon!'

Skin turned a blackish blue and hardened. His face turned grisly as sharp teeth formed in his mouth. A giant jewel formed in his forehead as the bone like stone protruded reshaping his head.

System: Knowledge Shadow Realm- Obelisk the Tormentor finds you wanting.

"Rooo." Azul's breath came out hot. As his mind went dull from all the information inside. He was not strong enough to control all the power completely. Obelisk wanted to judge everything in its path and banish them. "Roooo!" Striking out, his left fist met with Skarbrand's axe.

"Boom!" An explosion rang out distorting the place. Warp fluctuations twisted the space something brutal.

"Fist... of.. Fate!" Azul said simply. The gem on his forehead pulled in the energy from the surroundings and powered him up. As the waves of power wrapped around his fist, he struck out again.

"Whaaam!" Skarbrand took the fist right to the face. It's maw completely destroyed and neck-snapping back.

"Thump!" The Greater Daemon landed in the blood pool sliding back. Azul stepped forward swinging at everything in his path. Bloodletter and Khorne Juggernaught were killed in his wake. The very material they were made of seeped into him. The attack did not stop there.

"Bwooop!" The gem on his forehead absorbed the blood balls and used its power to fire.

"Bweeem!" A large concentrated psychic blast tore through the realm. Hitting against bloodletters and other creatures without mercy.

System: Willpower Check 70 Pass

"Thump! Thump!" Two other Greater Dameon's of Chaos appeared and jumped over. "Crck! Crck!" Azul sent the little control of his mind out to grab hold of their souls. With the energy available, they were indoctrinated to his side. It was temporary in his current state. But would last long enough for what he had planned.

"Splllt!" Azul crushed them to trigger Obelisk's hidden ability again. As his wing's spread behind his body, white lighting rained from the sky.

"Enough!" A blood-colored hand struck Azul and knocked him into real space. It was Khorne. He would not allow Azul to destroy a part of his realm in fury.

"Booom!" Azul's body smashed into a building. Turning back to his normal size instantly from the loss of the Warp energy to feed the form.

"Splurt!" Instantly Skarlett wrapped herself around Azul from his pores. She was helping to speed up his recovery as best she could.

"Bwoom." Tiffany exited a Rift and stood guard. Her eyes never leaving the blood cocoon that was Azul. In her hand was a different spear. This one belonged to that of Valkia.

"Thump, thump!" Heavy footfall made it's way towards them. The others looked awful but would survive. Broken armor and weary faces at the sight before them. Shun looked extremely worried staring at Tiffany.

The time difference in the Warp was tricky. Azul & Tiffany had only been gone a few days for them. but to the others, it had been months.

"Is he ok?" Candace asked. She had a fresh scar under her chin. A clash with some mutants that almost cost a mission failure. 'He seems stronger somehow.'

"He will be." Tiffany answered coldly. "He did not succeed on his own. It is a pity." As she circled her Dark Cosmos power, she returned to a more normal disposition. "The rewards were lost." She was disgruntled. Candance took note of that and would let those who needed to know later.

"At least he lives." Lu Bu said. He then turned to his troops and made a defensive plan. "We need to watch over him till he wakes up. Set up rotating guards and make sure to watch for any Warp fluctuations."

- 7 days later-

"Crack, crrkk!" The blood cocoon broke apart. Skarlet reformed n.a.k.e.d and pulled the pieces into herself. She instantly reformed her clothes and looked healthy and fit for battle. Several rune lines all across her body. Azul formed them while in the cocoon. They would protect from the effects of Chaos in the future.

"Shit!" Azul sat up with a fright. Weapon already in his hand to fight. He frantically looked around till a hand settled him back down. "Are we ok?"

"Yes, everything is fine. As fine as it can be here anyway." Bishop said. "Put some clothes on." Azul equipped his armor and stood up. He was determined to find out what the hell was so important down below even more so. "You sure you should be moving already?"

"Yeah. Slept long enough.. well a coma is not sleeping." Azul checked over his log and saw no experience was gained from that encounter. "Oh boy. At least everyone else has gained some levels."

'Look at your own status. Your transformation into Obelisk changed some things. Mostly consolidation it seems.' Hilda said relaxed.
