Crystalline Universe: Team Fortress 2/ Overwatch

The rain kept on falling during the night. The cops stood in the bar, in the middle of a mess while through the backdoor, Karson and his team loaded Sherlock and Watson on their ship.

Once inside, Karson flipped a few switches on the control panel and took off while Azur pushed the two unconscious detectives tied together by a metal chain into a steel cabin.

As the jet flew through the small city's skies, the road lights glowed through the ship's panes. Incidentally, small droplets of rain flew across the c.o.c.kpit window while leaving linings of water behind them.

[Karson] - "Azur, can you check if Mergiann's alright? "

Azur, distracted by the thoughts about the battle that just took place, waited for a few seconds before coming back to herself.

[Azur] - "Oh... alright. "

The girl advanced toward Mergiann, who laid unresponsively on a bed. Azur gently grabbed Mergiann's head and carefully check through her brown messy hair for any sign of injury.

Suddenly, Mergiann sat up with her eyes wide open and proceeded to grasp Azur by the collar.

[Mergiann] (in an agitated state) - "Explosions are Jojo reference! "

[Azur] (confused and shocked) - "Shit! WTF? "

[Mergiann] - "The main villain of JJBA part 4 uses explosions to detonate and eliminate his target. So I'm basically a walking reference! "

[Azur] - "You mean Kira? "

[Mergiann] - "Yeah! And... and... by the way, where is that bad guy we were fighting? "

[Azur] - "I finished him off after he knocked you off. "

[Mergiann] (in an angerly tone) - "Damn it! I wanted to blow him up! I just received those crazy awesome nitro bombs! "

[Karson] - "Oh you'll have one hell of time blowing things up since our friend, Azur here, just bloody let that rubbish old geezer contact [La Squadra di arresto]. "

[Mergiann] (in enthusiasm) - "What? That's amazing! I can make some serious firework out of these guys! "

[Karson] - "Oh! Fireworks? You better hope we don't get our asses handed over by these guys. They were trained to hunt people, unlike these two bloody peasants we just captured! "

[Mergiann] - "I know... I was joking... Also, screw you, Azur, if any of us dies, I'm blaming it on you! "

[Karson] - "Bloody hell, from the coordinates on your computer, their base of operation is hidden within a museum? "

[Mergiann] - "[Musée du Louvre] in Paris, yes. "

[Karson] - "These guys must feel pretty special for choosing a place like this for their base. "

[Mergiann] - "Indeed but let's station our ship farther away from their base, they may have a detection system for our kind of aircraft. "

[Karson] - "Good idea because we are arriving. "

The craft slowly landed on the roof of an apartment building while jets of steam ejected from the exhaust ports. The ramp opened and Mergiann exited the ship alongside Azur, who observed her surroundings with worry and fear. Karson then exited out of the aircraft while Darlynn still laid unconscious on a bed.

Before Azur took one step further toward the stairs, Karson grasped the girl by the shoulder.

[Karson] (menacingly) - "Stay here, watch the bloody ship and Darlynn. If anything bad happens due to your carelessness, I will for real, bust a vein on you. You caused us enough trouble so don't add oil on the fire. "

[Azur] - "..., Fine... I will stay... "

As Azur made her way back inside the craft, Mergiann and Karson walked down the stairs to the streets.

Once down onto the roads, Mergiann hastily ran toward a yellow postbox and proceeded to insert a letter.

[Karson] - "What did you just put in there? "

[Mergiann] (in relieve) - "Oh, that? A cheque for my mother and sister back in Germany. I forgot to send them the money last month, they must be worried. "

[Karson] - "A cheque? I mean we are in an advanced society today, why don't you just use bank account transfer or something like that? "

[Mergiann] - "This will avoid Talon's hackers who track our every move. "

[Karson] - "You are a hacker yourself. "

[Mergiann] (in a hesitant voice) - "I hack for justice and justified reasons... Anyways, moving on, let's get to the museum already. "

[Karson] - "Right! "

The pair moved past the giant glass pyramid that served as the museum's entrance and entered through a secret passage behind a stone. As they made their way through the obscure unending underground tunnel, Mergiann typed in commands through her portable computer.

[Mergiann] - "And... Done! The security system of the museum has been deactivated. "

[Karson] - "How about the guards then? "

[Mergiann] - "Their base is hidden behind [Le Sacre de Napoléon]. Just by moving this painting 45° to the right, a passageway will open on the wall. "

[Karson] - "About the guards, should we use sleep darts on them? "

[Mergiann] - " Shut up, we are there. "

Without a second of hesitation, Mergiann jumped out of the tunnel after sliding aside a piece of ceramic off the floor. Karson, after making his way to the floor, proceeded to follow her steps toward the supposed room that contained the painting.

The pair passed unnoticed to the guards through the many exposition halls. On their way, Karson stopped in front of a stone statue and observed the magnificent sculpture.

[Karson] - "[Jean de La Fontaine] (1621-1695) Bloody hell, the details are astonishing. I just wish people our days kept on building great artwork like this instead of their absurd and wacky contemporary art. "

Karson suddenly realized that Mergiann already left the room while he criticizing art.

[Karson] - "Mergiann? "

The sculpture slowly stood up behind Karson and extended his hands toward Karson's head. The young man turned back and threw a punch toward the statue's c.h.e.s.t. The art piece dodged the punch and clay from the statue's arms rapidly wrapped around Karson's face.

As his face was covered in solid clay, the young man panicked and moved blindly around. His breathing was also blocked.

As he gasped for air, he hastily tried to remove the clay using his hands but the sculpture advanced toward him and fixed his hands on his face by adding more clay.

Now about to pass out from asphyxiation, Karson felt to his knees beside the wall. The statue stepped toward the young man, grabbed his head and smashed it against the wall.

Karson fell to the floor in silence.

Mergiann, after hearing the noises, rushed back toward the room where Karson was.

When she arrived, Karson laid unconscious on the ground with blood and broken pieces of clay on his face. Mergiann hastily kneeled in front of him and analyzed his injuries.

[guard] - "Freeze! Who goes there? "

Mergiann instantly pulled a tranquillizer gun out of her pocket and shot the guard right in the forehead. Promptly, the young girl removed some of the pieces of clay that pierced through the young man's skin while wrapping bandaged on the wounds.

The same statue jumped on Mergiann behind her back with his hands open. The young girl turned back and launched an explosive dart toward the sculpture. The art piece exploded into a rubble of clay while a half-n.a.k.e.d man leaped out of it.

[Mergiann] (in an angerly tone) - "Locuzione, surprisingly you guard the arresto base. You are going to pay for this! "

[Locuzione] - "Mergiann Meyer, member of Team Zero, you and your partner shouldn't be here at all. This is a private base out of your reach of authority! This is a common rule that every executioner must follow or they will be considered traitor by default. "

[Mergiann] - "We have the mission to hunt down Mike G. Mundy, you better comply, this is an order given by his majesty, Sniper. "

[Locuzione] - "Don't take me for a dumbass, you little girl. Mike would never dare to be here, soo close to our base. "

[Mergiann] (menacingly) - "What did you f.u.c.k.i.n.g call me? Little girl? Fight me, bitch! "

The teenage girl pulled four grenades out of her back bag and armed all 4 of them. Locuzione immediately wrapped himself in concrete using his ability. Mergiann madly launched all four of them toward Locuzione, who suddenly ran toward the girl while being protected by cement.

The grenades detonated upon contact with Locuzione's stone armour in proximity to Mergiann.

[Mergiann] - "Oh shit! "

The blast propelled the girl metres away from Locuzione with her finally coming to a stop after hitting a marble pillar.

[Locuzione, while making his way toward Mergiann] - "You think you can just blow me up with those? I'm a member of arresto, launching those grenades in hope of defeating me is just a ridiculous insult to my position. "

[Mergiann] (in a weak voice) - "I wasn't finished either. "

In a sudden move, Mergiann launched a knife that stabbed Locuzione on the leg.

[Locuzione] (in p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e) - "Ooooh, yeah! "

[Mergiann] (in shock) - "What? "

Locuzione slowly pulled the knife out of his wound while enjoying every second of the pain inflicted by the cut. After he fully pulled the knife out of his leg, he licked the bloody edge of the weapon in a burst of joy.

[Locuzione] - "I love this pain, this is just too good! "

[Mergiann] (in a disgusted voice) - "What the hell, you freak! "

Louzione approached the knife toward Mergiann's mouth while holding her arms with his hand.

[Locuzione] (in a perverted look) - "You should be able to enjoy this too! "

All of sudden, a line of blue light appeared in front of the two and Locuzione's finger flew off his hand holding the blade.

[Locuzione] (in a burst of p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e) - "Oooooh, my god! "

Azur jumped down from the ceiling and landed in behind Locuzione while her crystal came back on her belt.

[Azur] - "Surrender or have a beatdown! "

[Locuzione, while l.i.c.k.i.n.g his lips] - "I would rather have a beatdown, a nice and hard beatdown! "

The man started by gathering ceramic from the floor around his body but to his surprise, Azur's sapphire pierced right through his defence and grazed his shoulder.

[Locuzione] (surprised) - "Wha... what? "

[Azur] - "My ability counters yours perfectly, so give up this instant or I will put one through your skull! "

Locuzione quickly realized that he lost and since he was the only member of his team that stayed behind, he's on his own.

[Locuzione] - "How about you let go... on this condition. "

The man gradually pulled a green glass tube out of his pant in which contained a flesh-eating virus. In a swift movement, Locuzione broke the bottle on the ground. A green gas floated without direct body contact around the man due to his ability.

A small drop of the liquid dripped onto Azur's ankle where her flesh immediately started to decompose.

[Locuzione] - "That was unexpected but it's still a welcomed surprise. "

[Azur] (in a panic) - "Shi... shit! "

The infection rapidly spread up to her leg and on her foot. Azur closed her eyes in pain and spoke.

[Azur] - "I won't let you escape and I will defeat you but for that, I'll need to have resolve! "

The girl reopened her eyes and using her crystals, she cut down her leg from down her knee.

Azur then held her bleeding by using 2 of her gems on her wound.

[Azur] (in agony) - "Aaaargh! "

Small droplets of tear fell from her eyes while she suffered on the floor.

[Locuzione] - "How are you going to defeat me? If you kill me, this virus will be released all around the place, infecting even you and your friend Mergiann! "

[Azur] (in agony) - "You think? "

[Locuzione, while backing from her] - "I'm gonna start moving and if I see one move from one of your sapphires, I'll release the virus around! "

Abruptly, one of Azur's crystals hidden inside the severed leg used her decapitated member to kick the man in the face. The virus quickly spread around Locuzione's face.

[Locuzione] (enraged) - "You bastard! Do you want to die? "

Before Locuzione could undo his ability to let the virus run free, he heard a tinkling sound on the ground. Looking down, the one thing the man saw was a silver grenade with [Masturbate to this, motherf.u.c.ka] written on it.

In a huge explosion, Locuzione, the virus along with most artworks inside the room were annihilated to vapour and dust.

Azur looked in shock at the destruction and then turned her look toward Mergiann who laid on the ground.

[Mergiann, with a smug smile] - "Praise me, how much do you give me for that explosion? "

[Azur] - "Destruction of patrimonies, arts and sculptures... Jesus Christ, Mergiann, I'll give you a 9/11 for all this overkill. "

[Mergiann] - "That's kinda offensive, Azur... Besides, it killed him and the virus. "

[Azur] - "Could you at least use a grenade with smaller explosive radium? "

[Mergiann] (menacingly) - "I refuse! "

Azur bent down and reached her hand out to help Mergiann up from the ground.

[Azur] - "Enough camaraderie, let's go cancel that message sent to arresto. "
