Danmachi: Dragon Heart System

Silver vented his anger on the monsters on the 6th floor because he can't afford that much Lucky Points as those points are hard to get. But he calmed down and was now happy, he earned lots of crystal that would later be turned into money.

He had known how much is a level one monster's crystal when it exchanged into Valis.

So far, his pouch was a little bulky and he needed another pouch to hold, so he bought another pouch from the system store and this time it is more bigger than the first one. This only cost him 2 LP.

As he goes further, he was thinking something.

"Which familia should I join? Perhaps I might join the Goibniu Familia, or maybe not. I want to learn how to smith weapons and armors but surely that god will only teach me if I join his familia. If I were to join the Loki Familia, It will bad for me as I am a soloist, I'm good on my own. Ganesha Familia might not be a good one to join despite its wealth and fame. On the other hand, if I were not to join any familia, surely I will be earning for my own and I will level up without a god or goddess but I might join a familia."

As he reached the 7th floor, he took a turn to the right and saw many killer ants that look like they have found their prey.

Suddenly, he heard the scream of a woman.

"Help!!!"

He readied his buckler and unsheathed his Gladius as he moves forward to where the ants are and where the shout came from.

Unknown POV (my original characters)

Oh my gosh! There are way too many of them. I knew I should have stopped them from trusting that man that wants to help us to go further to finish our registration.

"Help! Anyone, help!" I screamed on top of my lungs, hoping someone heard us.

"Help! We're cornered!" Maya says.

"Shut up, idiot! No one will bother to help us, especially with these many killer ants surrounding us!" Arthur says as he loses hope.

"There is no way no one will help us! Right, Cindy?" she asked me but...

I couldn't answer her question, even if it is just one, I can't.

Silver's POV

I unsheathed my sword and readied my shield after I heard that scream. That scream came from where these Killer Ants are.

When I got near them, they started to turn around and looked at me. Suddenly, they attacked me one after another.

"Fire burns bright." I muttered, activating my Blazing Aura.

I bashed them with my shield as I plow through them and at the same time, killing them. It's good that I have a shield along with this Gladius used by Romans in battle. I guess, they were specially made for these kinds of things.

After I plow through them, I saw two young ladies and a man. The seems like he had given up his hope of surviving with this many ants.

"Look! Someone came to help us!" said one of the ladies.

"I told you so!" said the other one.

Again, I plow through the ants without breaking a sweat. Soon, the ants retreated as they were now getting few just because of me who was way stronger than them.

Once the ants are gone, I sheathed my Gladius and moved closer to them.

"Are you three hurt?" I asked.

"Thank you for saving us! We owe you our lives!" says the girl who was wearing light leather armor and had a short sword as a weapon.

"I'm glad that you came to rescue us! You are like a knight in shining armor!" says the girl who was wearing a blue robe with a cloak, she also had a staff that she was holding, she was an elf.

The man stood up and stopped right in front of me. His body was rather big than a normal human has. He was wearing an armor plate and has a sword.

"Thanks for saving the three of us. If didn't come to save our bacon, we would have been dead." he said and he looked down as he said in a low voice, "That bastard, he led us into this place and lured those ants and trapped us here."

I know how much it hurts when someone you trust betrays you and even tries to kill you just to get what he wants.

"How come you guys are out here with your weapons are not that good enough for this." I asked as those weapons seem to be just plain swords and staff.

"Can we introduce ourselves first?" said the light armor girl.

I nodded.

"My name is Cindy. I'm a new adventurer, though I still have to earn 5,000 Valis or join a familia." she said.

"5,000 for you to earn? How come yours was rather low than mine?" I asked.

"What? Are you also registering to be an adventurer?" she asked and I nodded, "How much yours? Do you have anyone with you?"

"Mine was 10,000 Valis. And no, I don't have anyone with me." I answered truthfully.

"Well, I guess they'll only reduce the requirements when you are in a team, and if you were to go solo, you should be strong on your own." Cindy says.

"Anyway, I'm Maya. Nice to meet you!" she said as she raised her hand in front of me.

I shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you! Are you perhaps, an elf?"

"How did you know? I covered my ears with my hair, yet you know that I am an elf." she was shocked.

"I'm Arthur. Nice to meet you. I hope we meet again when we are now fully-fledged Adventurers." he said as he gave me a pat on my back.

"My name is Silver. Nice to meet you all."

I escorted them back up just to check up on my staff as well.

I bid goodbye to them.

3rd POV

Silver climbed down again, this time it was way lower and he is quite skipping some of the monsters as they will just slow him down if he were to go down.

On the 12th floor, the Hard Armored, an armadillo that has the highest defensive ability on upper floors is no match for Silver's strength.

He was able to go past further on the middle floor. It gave him quite a challenge with his stamina. Sadly for monsters, he had been swinging his Dragon Staff a hundred times each day and he successfully increased his capacity which normal people can't reach, even adventurers.

Right now, he had been waiting for a Goliath to come and attack him. When it does, he was able to take it down by dealing with multiple damages using his Blazing Aura. He even used his Fire Javelin at one of them and it pierced through it but it has a limited distance.

After farming crystals from this very floor, He climbed back up the stairs and headed directly for the Guild.

Upon entering the Guild, he pulled out all the pouch that was full of crystals and some dropped items.

When Eina saw this, she couldn't believe that this boy was able to gather these many crystals.

Eina escorted Silver to where the counter that changes all the crystals and items into money.

Silver opened all five bulging pouch and opened them, this shocked the one who exchanges the items and crystals into Valis.

Upon calculating on how much are these, he earned at an exact 327,400 Valis in one go, excluding the items, but with the items, it will go even further to 650,300 Valis in total.

650,300 - 10,000 = 640,300 Valis

640,300 + 40,000(almost half of his total money when he came.) = 680,300 Valis
