Danmachi: Dragon Heart System

Silver tread his way to the tavern with a smile on his face. He was glad that he finished registering in just a day, though he felt something was amiss, something that he forgot but in the end, he shrugged it off.

Upon entering the tavern, as always, the waitresses are busy but this time it was adventurers instead of civilians.

He sat in his favorite spot, near the counter, alone. He ordered food.

"I want the best salad as well as the best steak in here!" he ordered.

"Ok, coming right up!" she then told one of the waitresses, "Tell her to make our best salad and best steak!"

This was Syr, "Yes, Mama!"

"So, you're here to spend your money, eh?" Mia broke the silence within Silver's head.

"Yes. And I know you love money." he said and smiled at Mia.

Mia smiled back as she felt she found a person who is ready to spend his money on the tavern and she could earn lots of money.

("Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something? Damnit! What is it? Wait! Let me check. My Gladius and Buckler are here... wait, I forgot my scythe at the guild and my staff at the dungeon's exit! Damn, how could I forget bringing my weapons?")

"Sorry, I have to go somewhere!" he said to Mia, "I'll leave my weapons here."

"Wait, where are you going?"

"It's, uh... I forgot my other two weapons when I came here."

"Oh, then come back faster, okay?"

Silver ran to the Guild and found that it was almost close since the workers don't work 24/7 there.

After he entered, he bumped into someone. He didn't fall down as his body was like metal even though his body is just small. Anyway, the person who he bumped to was Eina.

"Oh, sorry Ms. Eina." he said as he helped her stand.

Silver noted himself not to run that fast, especially when he is near where he wants to go.

"Ow... That hurt... I thought I bumped into a wall." she said as she rubbed her forehead.

Then, she picked up the papers that she was holding. Silver helped her picking up the papers so his time won't be wasted.

"Thank you, Silver. Anyway, why are you here?" she said as she ordered him to sit in one of the tables.

"Did you see a Mythril Scythe here? If you do, that's mine." he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh, you mean that sharp scythe?" she asked and she got a nod from Silver, "Wait here, I'll go get it for you."

She walked to the staff room and searched for it. She came back with his scythe.

"Thanks! Someday, I'll pay you back." he said and stood up.

"Bye, Ms. Beautiful!" he said as he left.

This cause Eina to blush as she was called beautiful.

After Silver left the guild, he entered the dungeon. It's a good thing that the dungeon is always open for adventurers to earn crystal for money.

Upon entering the 1st floor, he looked for his staff and found it in the same place from where he left it before. He picked it up and left the dungeon.

Every step he took when he ran, it felt like the gravity was stronger. Fortunately, he got used to this. Just carrying his staff increases his overall stats, except magic, slowly since he got used to its heaviness.

He came back to the tavern, upon stepping on the hardwood floor, a loud sound came from that very step. Adventurers looked at where the sound was and they saw Silver.

Silver ignored them and continued to walk his chair. He put down his staff that also made a noise which he accidentally dropped it by a few centimeters.

Again, Adventurers looked at him.

He also looked at them and saw familiar faces, they were Lefiya Veridis and Ais Wallenstein.

When he saw them, he just looked at them and turned back to Mia to get his order.

When his orders came, the other Adventurers thought he was wasting his money and food.

After half an hour, Silver finished his food and shocked everyone because of his appetite. This was too much. Ordering a meal like that is ok if you can't finish it, but this kid just ate all of them in just half an hour.

"Thanks for the meal! That was delicious!" he said as he patted his tummy which didn't seem to change in size.

"No problem! Next time, spend that much again, ok?" Mia said as she collected the money from Silver.

"I know, I know! Your cook must be really good!" he said and now on his way to his room with his staff.

The next day, Silver woke up early in the morning. It was dawn, actually. As always, he does warm-ups before doing exercises like 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, and 10-kilometer run. Yes, Saitama's training routine.

Another day to earn again, he readied himself and left his Dragon Staff, Gladius and Buckler at his room. This time, he will use his Mythril Scythe.

But before going, he bought something first.

As soon as he purchased it, the armor appeared in his hand. He wore the armor and saw that it looks good on him. (the armor is the one in the cover)

He left for the dungeon, earning crystals, reaching lower floors as he ventures through the dungeon.

Silver didn't know how to use a scythe, so he thought he should use it now to learn how to use it and refine his mastery over it, including other weapons too.

Every time Silver swings his scythe, groups of monsters were taken down. With the long reach of the scythe and its sharpness and lightness, monsters can't escape his attacks even if they run away.

He tried to use it on a wall and it shocked him, his scythe was able to leave a pretty deep wound. If it had hit a human, that would leave a scar or even cut that part of the body. The wall was cleanly cut, not even fragments of the wall had fallen down. Not a crack but a narrow slit.

He didn't know if it is because of his strength or just his weapon that was so sharp.

Hours have passed pretty quickly, he conquered at least 30 floors in one go with his scythe. Well, he can fight without even being touched by enemies. Once again, when he traded in the crystals in the guild for Valis, he earned so much money, it reached 10 million Valis.
