Danmachi: Dragon Heart System

Two people came down from the Babel tower, a red haired girl and white haired boy. These two were Loki and Silver, they have been talking to each other while they go down.

The two got down and was about to go home when Silver stopped right in front of the carriage they used to travel from Twilight Manor to Babel.

"Silver, are you going somewhere?" Loki asked the handsome young man Silver.

"I've got something to do. I might not be able to join the others on their expeditions more frequent, though." he said.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"You see, I want to go and find a normal job here so I can earn money while I'm not on any expedition. However, I'm still gonna go and try my best, in any way, to help my familia." he answered and smiled.

Seeing Silver's handsome, smiling face, she blushed.

"Ok! Take care, Silver!" Loki bid farewell to Silver as her carriage started to travel back to Twilight Manor.

"You too! Take care, my goddess!" Silver said as he waved his hand.

"I guess, it's really on our blood that we respect our Gods and Goddesses, huh? I'll change that a bit." he muttered and thought of how was Bell doing right now.

"Now I need to find a job that has something to do with chef. Speaking of chef, why the heck is this even a Development Ability? Shouldn't it be just already exist as it has nothing to do with exploration and adventure? Adventure might be an exemption but this is the world of dungeon exploring and leveling up, not Gourmet(Toriko) World!" he screamed in his head.

He ignored these matter and moved on to get a normal job. He wandered aimlessly on the main streets at the West until he came in front of the tavern, Hostess of Fertility. He entered, thinking of getting a job here.

He greeted Mia, "Hey, Mama Mia!"

"How are you doing, Silver? Are you here to order lots of food?" Mia replied with a smile.

"I'm good! No, I'm not here to order food." he paused a little and continued, "I'm actually trying to get a job. Do you, by any chance, accept one more person?"

"Sorry, but I'm only taking in girls-" before she could even finish her sentence she was interrupted by Silver.

"I will do anything you want me to do. I will try my very best just to have a job." he said and bowed down to show his love on job.

"Alright, you are hired!" she said and sighed.

"When do I start?" Silver said while wearing a smile on his face.

"It's up to you if you want to start already." she replied.

Hearing that, Silver wore his mask. When Mia saw this, she became confused. Why would he wear a mask while on a job? She thought of many possible reasons but in the end she really needed to ask him.

Before Silver could even utter a word, he was interrupted by Mia with two questions, "Why would you wear a mask while on a job? Aren't you satisfied being an Adventurer?"

"For the first question, I needed to wear a mask so my brother won't recognize me, because we promise to each other that I will wait for him in the dungeon after he became a full fledged Adventurer. For the second question, It's not that I don't like being an Adventurer and able to explore the dungeon, it's just that I really miss normal jobs like carpentry, farming, and tree logging. Even though my life was like hell at that time before arriving here, I enjoyed every bit of those jobs." he had flashbacks as he said the answer for the second question as he smiled.

His smile was happiness that was obtained through hardsh.i.p.s that he had gone through.

"Oh, you have a brother?" Mia was curious if his brother has the same attitude as him, like spending much money at her tavern.

"Yeah, his name is Bell." Silver looked at Mia with serious face and said, "Please, don't make him spend much money as I do."

Mia could only nod at what Silver said to her. Right now, Silver started his job as a helper, an all-around job to be exact.

He washed the plates that were served so the waitresses can focus more on their customers. He repaired some of the things at every rooms, be it the window, door, bed, or anything else.

In his free time, he was at the kitchen, watching their chef, May, cook the dishes that were ordered. Even though it is his free time, he helped her prepare the ingredients she needed as the food that she was cooking was the same food that he cooks for Bell and himself.

After work, he got nothing to do so he thought for a few minutes and in the end, he can't think of anything.

"Damn, there's NOTHING to do!!!!" he shouted in his mind, "Why am I shouting like this? Wait... Shouts? Isn't it the one that creates lots of powerful magical effects base on the 'words of power' that were used by a Dovahkiin? Also, Whispers."

"System, show me all the 'words of power' so I can learn those words."

The system had showed him the Dragon Language and the words of power that he needed to learn.

A few hours have passed, Silver was still working but decided to go out to learn how to do the simple Unrelenting Force so he can just scream at his enemies and make them fly.

"FUS!" he kept repeating the very same words over time.

He had been trying to learn how it really works so he's very focused on learning it. After a few more minutes, almost half an hour, he managed to learn his first 'Words of Power', repeating it again to make sure that he learned it pretty well, though it had 15 seconds cool down. This is his first word,"Fus" which means "Force". With this shout, he can make Bete fly.

Level 1: Fus - deals (40%Phy. Attack+40%Mag. Power) as true damage(ignores both Defense and Mag. resist) and deals an extra 20% of the first damage.

Every shouts that deals damage will have an additional and extra 10% on damage, add an additional 300 MP cost, and increase the cool down base on each word every level up.

Ex: Level 1: Fus - deals (40%PA+40%MPo) as true damage and deals extra 20% of the first damage.

MP cost - 200

CD: 15s

Level 2: Fus Ro - deals (50%PA+50%MPo) as true damage and deals extra 30% of the first damage.

MP cost - 500

CD: 35s

Level Max: Fus Ro - deals (60%PA+60%MPo) as true damage and deals extra 40% of the first damage.

MP cost - 800

CD: 1m 20s

I hope all of you get what is the difference of additional and extra. It was different for me, of course, because I needed to make this clear enough.

When I wrote additional, it means to add 10% at 10%. When I wrote extra, it means to deal another 10% of the 10% of damage. So in other words, additional is for the primary damage while extra for secondary and so on, so forth.

Soon, it was already the time of his duty. He needed to come back so he can wash the plates and might as well become the first waiter that is also an Adventurer.

He had gone home, entered through the window, and slept directly on his bed.
