Silver readied himself to hunt down some Jack Birds as their eggs were totally worth it. Their Golden Egg's price is based on purity. Some adventurers got some of those Golden Eggs, they only priced about a million Valis.

Since he has two abilities that could help him get more, which are Luck and Spoil. Luck will increase the drop rate of items. Spoil can double or triple the drop rate, double the items dropped, or will make monsters drop money even though they don't have money. Just like playing Role-Playing Games.

Also, with his Hunter skill maxed out to SSS, he would probably be able to find them. This skill which he trained so much that he made himself rely on his instinct for the sake of the word "Hunt".

Silver visited the Guild and told Eina that he wants to hunt Jack Birds. Eina suggested him to get some light weapons such as bows to attack them from afar which is a good idea since he had not been using a bow and arrows for months and his bow broke on his journey before coming to Orario.

Since he was at the Guild, he decided to go to the nearest shop owned by Hephaestus Familia.

As he entered, he saw many different weapons. He even saw a lance that caught his attention.

"Hello, how can I help you?" asked the man in the counter.

"I'm looking for a bow which is light but both have good durability and power. Any bow of that type?" Silver asked.

"There is but there is a problem." said the man.

"What problem? Let me see if I can help." Silver said and turned to look at other weapons.

"You see, the problem is... Its string is very hard to pull, even a level 4 was having a hard time doing so." the man said and sighed as it was a good bow.

"Really? Then take it to me. Let me see if I can." he said and added, "What is your name, Sir?"

"My name is Peter, you can call me Pete." Pete said as he came to their storage to get the bow.

He came back with a dark brown colored bow and its strings looked like they are made of metal strings as it looked solid.

"Here it is." Pete handed over the bow to him.

Silver appraised the bow.

[ Mystic Bow - Bow of the greatest, of the greatest marksman in ancient times. It is said that only a pure soul can pull the strings. +500 Phy. Attack. +20% damage if the target is airborne.

Unique Skill: Mystic Shot - shoots an arrow made from a high form of magic that randomly deals 60-150% of Mag. Power that ignores 60% Mag. Resist.

MP Cost: 5,000

Unique Skill: Mystic Arrows - uses magic to create arrows that ignore 40% Mag. Resist.

MP Cost: 150

Unique Passive: Silent Shots - every shot cannot be heard, even by the most s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e creature. ]

"Wow, such a good bow." as Silver said that he pulled the strings with no effort.

Pete didn't saw it as he was busy organizing the materials that they ordered to create weapons.

"Oh, I forgot. Goddess Hephaestus said that when someone..." when he turned around, he saw Silver pulling the strings without effort, "pulled the strings..."

"Huh, what?" Silver was confused by how he looks.

"There is a 99% discount for the person who was able to pull the bow's string!" He couldn't believe what he saw.

"How much is it?" Silver asked as he was curious about the price.

"Its price is 100 billion, and with the discount, you will only have to pay a billion to buy it." Pete said as he smiled.

"So, I'll have to pay a billion?! Wait! Let me count my money!" Silver took his bottomless pouch that had stored his money and started to count.

After counting them, all his money had reached 1.2 billion as he was as strong as a level 7 since he had been maximizing his stats before leveling up to get stronger than others even though he's still level 4.

"Here, 1 billion. I don't know if someone was messing with me out there or it's just I'm really unlucky sometimes." Silver managed to pay for the bow.

However, he doesn't have any arrows so he bought at least a hundred of them made of high quality which cost at least 350 Valis each. And BAM, 35,000 Valis was deducted, leaving him only with at least 165,000.

He also bought a quiver for arrows to be placed and it only cost him 2,000 Valis as it can carry a hundred arrows.

Silver was happy he got something really good that wasn't in the system shop. He was hesitating if someone is really messing with him or just his luck kicking in for getting such a good weapon but at the same time lost almost all his money.

Before going directly to the dungeon, he climbed up in the Babel Tower and stopped on the 8th floor. A certain familiar door was right in front of his face.

He knocked first before opening the door after hearing Hephaestus say, "Come in!".

"Oh, you came back..." before she could continue, she was interrupted by Silver.

"I came here not because of that." Silver said with a poker face.

"Oh? Then, why did you come here?" she asked.

"Hermes. I want to meet Hermes and his Familia." he said plainly.

After a moment of silence, she finally spoke up.

"What is the reason?" she asked. Curious of why he wants to meet a Hermes Familia.

"I have my secrets as my reasons, beautiful goddess. Now, if you were to able to make him meet me, tell him I'm working at the Hostess of Fertility." before Hephaestus could even reply, Silver interrupted her, "Bye, gorgeous goddess. Oh, and I'll leave my staff here."

She blushed when she heard the last words and at the same time, someone came in. She has brown skin, long black hair, red eyes, and wears an eyepatch over her left eye, similar to Hephaestus, however, hers covers the opposite eye and 170 cm in height.

"Who was that kid?" Tsubaki instantly asked.

"It's the Purple Flash, Silver." Hephaestus said in a serious face.

"Purple... Flash? So, Silver was his name, huh? Which familia is he?" Tsubaki asked.

"I thought you've already known. He was the newest member of Loki Familia and who fought Ais Wallenstein without weapons and ended up in a draw." Hephaestus said as she sat down to her chair.

"I've gotta make a contract with him!" Tsubaki said as she wants to test some of the weapons she forged.

Meanwhile, Silver walking down the Babel.

"Cyclops... Tsubaki Collbrande. I wonder if she could forge me a katana. It's been almost a year since I used one but only for 3 months though." Silver murmured as he walked to his destination.

Silver bought a small shield on an armor shop which cost him 5,000 Valis. The small shield he bought was made of steel and some light metals to make more light that other shields and at the same time more durable.

Now, he goes on his way to the dungeon. Slaying any monsters with just his fist so he could at least not much rusty in his martial arts.

His shield was on his back, his sword was sheathed properly, and he looks like he was dancing because of his moves while fighting monsters. This is Capoeira.

To be honest, it was a combination of dance, acrobatics, and music. But he won't rap like Killer Bee, dancing with the enemy.

("Uh, did the author just rap at the last sentence?")

Fighting monsters from the first floor are boring since he can just kill them with just a punch or kick.

He searched all over the places and found no signs of them. Even though his steps are very light as if he was an assassin, he didn't saw any Jack Birds.

But he didn't give up and still continued to search for them.

Jack Birds are very fast. If these birds want to eat bird feeds, he would do so but he doesn't have any on him. Unless his luck wants him to.

He walked around aimlessly and slayed any monsters that attack him. Picking up the crystals he got from the monsters, he sighed as there was no sign of Jack Birds. He leaned on the wall and closed his eyes to rest a little.

He waited until a group of three entered the dungeon and passed by but one of them stopped, making the other two to stop.

An elf turned to look at the back of a young man who was too carefree and even slept inside the dungeon.

The elf recognized that faced so she walked closer to see his face clearly.

"Hey, Maya. What are you doing?" the human girl who was with her called Maya.

"Eh?! Cindy? Nothing!" Maya panicked a little.

"Wait, who was that?" a male dwarf spoke as he noticed that there was someone behind the elf.

Silver opened his eyes and couldn't believe what he was seeing right now. He can't explain if what he is seeing right now true. He can only say one word "Beautiful".

This made the elf, Maya, to blush as she heard him talked. Before she could even speak, she was interrupted by Silver.

In just a second, Silver equipped his Mystic Bow and Quiver with arrows. He instantly nocked an arrow and aimed it.

"Don't move!" Silver said as he aimed.

"A-are you going to kill me?" Maya asked in a low voice.

"Hey, what are you doing!" the dwarf pulled his weapon from his back, ready to strike.

"Silence..." Silver said in a low but audible voice.

"Stop, Arthur. Look at his arms, it was aimed a little bit to the side." Cindy whispered to the dwarf.

Arthur slowly placed his ax down.

"What are you doing?" Arthur asked.

"I'm hunting Jack Birds right now. If we make any unnecessary noises, we might scare our source of money." Silver said in a low voice.

"Source of... Money?" all three of them said in unison and of course, in a low voice.

Silver let go of the arrow that was nocked at the bowstring.

The arrow flew at an incredible speed and soon it hit his target, a Jack Bird.

The Jack Birds didn't notice that one of them is killed as the one that got hit strayed too far from the flock.

The Jack Bird, strangely, dropped two Golden Eggs that seems to have a design on it.

"That's 2 eggs in one bird." Silver said and disappeared suddenly.

When he disappeared, a purple color flashed before their eyes. They couldn't believe that someone was able to disappear right in front of them.

When the three looked at where they think the arrow went, they saw Silver picking up the eggs and placing them in a pouch that doesn't seem to get full.

Silver looked at the flock of Jack Birds and then looked at his bow.

"I guess, I'll have to try that skill." he said as he closed his eyes.

He inhaled and exhaled then opened his eyes. He didn't use any arrow, he just pulled the string as blue and red color turned into an arrow.

Silver maximized his range as he aimed and then let go of the arrow.

"Mystic Shot: Rapid Fire!"

The arrow flew to the direction and then a magic circle was created and it produced lots of mystic arrows that had hit all of the Jack Birds. Some of the Jack Birds were able to dodge and some of them didn't.

The ones that hadn't been hit, they flee and flew away faster than a Ferrari that had reached over 400 km.

The total amount of Birds are over 40 as it was the reason why Silver said "Beautiful" because he can get lots of money. He had successfully hit 23 birds in that shot.

Silver felt a little pain in his head as he used quite a lot of MP.

He used 100 mystic arrows and each arrow cost 150, so the total MP he used on arrows is 15,000. and with the special skill, Mystic Shot, which cost 5,000. In total, he used 20,000 MP.

Silver started to pick up the Golden Eggs. He counted them and he was really happy with how many he got with his cheat, Spoil, that can double the items dropped by monsters.

The amount of Golden Eggs he acc.u.mulated were 33 eggs, showing that his skill sometimes doesn't double the items that were dropped instead of an expected number of 46.
