With Voldemort's memories of the Horcruxes, their location and traps, Chad wanted nothing more than to quickly collect them and drain them of their soul pieces. But most could not be acquired immediately and would have to wait.

Since it was currently 1985, he would have to wait a year until he was sure Walburga Black was dead. He only knew that she died sometime this year and then continued to order around Kreacher from her painting. The Diadem would also be left until he went to Hogwarts to start school, there was no way he would be entering the Dark Lord's home base and tipping him off.

Riddles Diary would also fall into his hands in his second year, or if he killed the Malfoy Family before that. The only one that would cause him problems was the Cup in the Lestrange vault. But he planned to break into Azkaban when he was older anyway, might as well pick up Bellatrix while he was there. Nagini had yet to meet Voldemort, but maybe he could turn her into his own familiar. That left the Resurrection stone.

Since he knew all of the traps surrounding the ring, it would be a simple matter to walk in and take it. Summoning a team of ninjas, he had them teleport him to the home of the Gaunt family, located in the woods just outside the village of Little Hangleton. It was a simple matter to deactivate the traps as he knew all of them by heart and could speak parseltongue. The only problem lay in laying a trap for the greedy Dumbledore.

But this turned out to be a simple matter as he had the elves transfigure an exact replica of the ring and he personally transferred the lethal curse that would hopefully kill off the Dark Lord. It was lucky that Dumbledore, for all his wit and cunning, was still prone to wizard stupidity. He had the curse contained in his arm for a full year before he suicided, why didn't he amputate the arm? If Riddle could furnish the rat-like Pettigrew with a silver-plated hand, surely Dumbles was capable of creating one.

Anyway, with the replica in place and the traps reset, Chad decided to make a trip to the graveyard of Little Hangleton. Locating the grave of Tom Riddle Snr was a simple task with ninja elves, and swapping the contents with a random man of roughly the same age just as easy. Although he planned to have killed Voldemort by his fourth year at Hogwarts, it was better to be safe than sorry. Things could always go wrong.

Returning back to Godric's Hollow, it was a simple matter to undo the soul's connection to the ring and capture the soul piece before it could dissipate. A Horcrux was simply a ritual using sacrifice to bind part of your soul to an object and make it impervious to damage by conventional means. But just because the container was unbreakable, didn't mean the soul's connection to it was.

If they had actually studied the Horcrux ritual in cannon, they would have found quite a few ways to save the objects instead of destroying them like barbarians picking a lock. Chad would much prefer to use finesse over brute force and damage artifacts of incredible worth. With the rings ability to act as an anchor for the soul severed, it was only a matter of drawing the soul into his mindscape with will and magic.

It was another training run for Chad's mental defences, and Voldemort acted predictably the same. Deciding the raider base was his target, he charged like a bull at it, continually taking small amounts of damage. Because this was a willingly separated bit of soul from a ritual, it had three times the willpower of the parasite that Chad had already consumed. With the ability to soak up more damage, Chad decided to get creative and activate some of the countermeasures he had designed for tougher opponents.

Two Vertibirds took off from their landing pad on the opposite side of town. Hearing the alien sound off propellers cutting the air at high speed, Riddle was dumbfounded at what he found suddenly attacking him. It triggered memories of extreme fear from his childhood when London was bombarded by the Nazi planes. The miniguns operated by enclave members in power armour suddenly came to life and hailed down lead on the fear-stricken villain.

It took Riddle a good ten minutes to take them down with spells, the Vertibirds speed and maneuverability the perfect counter for slow-moving jets of magic. The fact that they were a kilometre above him in the sky didn't help either. He had to cast massive area effect magic to hit them, and between the damage he took and the willpower expended in his attacks, he was looking like a ghost.

It didn't take long before another Riddle holodisk was inserted into his quarantine computer to see if it held anything new. Since it was a soul fragment taken from earlier in Riddle's life, it only held fewer memories than what Chad already had. A complete format and it became a tasty treat to boost his own willpower, increasing his ability to cast wandless magic.

Thinking it best not to overdo it with the soul-eating in case it had adverse effects, Chad turned his mind to his other plans, buying up land. Since England was practically home to wizards and was under scrutiny from most of the world, he decided to invest overseas. There was a particular country that the United Kingdom of Great Britain had a history of emigrating to that would suit Chad's purpose. He wanted a first world country that had massive tracts of land, yet was sparsely populated and the best choice was Australia.

It was part of the British Empire but became basically independent in 1931. The final constitutional ties were cut in 1986, giving him a year to take advantage of the lax immigration laws. He had Crystal organise everything needed to obtain dual citizenship and booking the flights. It was then that he came across a peculiar problem, Harry James Potter did not exist in the English database.

He had been born at Godric's Hollow during the height of the wizarding war and was never registered in a muggle hospital. This allowed him to do away with the common name of Harry and legally change his name. Harry was only an abbreviation for Henry, another name he wasn't too keen on and didn't sound at all worthy of a wizarding Lord. Chad didn't want to be just another Tom, D.i.c.k, and Harry. The few similar names were pretty terrible wizard names also, but at least they were better than average old Harry.

- Hadrian = Dark-haired.

- Harrison = Son of Harry.

- Harold = Army power.

These were the only names that could be b.a.r.e the abbreviated nickname of harry without raising any eyebrows. The other alternative was to adopt the name of one of the Potters ancestors. Hardwin Potter married Iolanthe Peverell of Godric's Hollow and inherited the Cloak of Invisibility since there were no male heirs in the Peverell line. In the end, Chad went for a bit of a mixture.

Since Chad was not actually given the name Harry by the Potters, he thought that the least he could do was take on the name of Harrison since he was basically reborn from Harry. But he also decided to ditch the plebeian name of Potter and replace it with Peverell.

Harrison Chad Peverell.

It didn't really roll off the tongue, but it solved the confusion of his mixed names. With a bit of mind magic to enter it into the hospital files near Godric's Hollow, he had himself a new name. He didn't swear any magical oaths just yet as he was unsure if it would affect the Quill of Acceptance and his Hogwarts letter. While they were making a paper trail for his new identity, Chad also got himself adopted.

Crystal was more than excited when Chad was legally her son and let it show by her goofy smile that regularly adorned her face. When the passports arrived, they were on the plane the next week. Crystal had organised all the paperwork, and mind magic helped expedite the citizenship process. They both now held dual nationality for the UK and Australia.

Since Crystal was now a resident of Australia, it cut out a lot of the problems of starting up a branch of the Elfin Inc. Since the majority of the population was situated on the east coast, it would be based in Sydney. There were plenty of areas where the houses were derelict, even if they were expensive neighbourhoods. Her business sense tingling, she got straight to work.

Chad, on the other hand, was more interested in the rich deposits of minerals that were scattered over the country. Muggles needed large amounts of manpower and machinery to excavate precious metals and stones. But he had an army of magical elves that could teleport. Chad was hoping that he could train them to find gold and diamonds that were mined in Western Australia.

The local Wizarding community was based in Sydney, but wizards were dotted around the country. Apparently, there was a massive Quidditch addiction in Australia, and the competition was fierce between the different Aussie teams. This meant that Chad would have to warn his elves to be careful when on missions, he didn't want to draw the attention of the locals.

Chad planned to buy up land for his home on the opposite side of the country from the wizard hub of Australia. Hopefully, he would be lucky enough to dodge most of the wizards and remain unnoticed until his foundation was firmly established. The south-west looked green on the maps, so he gave instructions to Crystal to start acquiring large blocks of land there.

Now it was time for him to return to England, the week he had spent here must have been hell for Boppy. He had taken the role of Dudley while Chad was off exploring and must be ready to kill himself.
