DBZ: Another One

Chapter 10 - Frieza's Return

Two years passed. All of the fighters that were killed had been finally wished back by the dragon-balls. Vegeta had also returned to Earth. Leek had been training hard under Roshi to become stronger, she trained on his island, and came back to Bulma's house when she grew tired. One day, she sensed a large presence coming toward Earth. Leek seemed surprised when she recognised the energy. A dark, evil energy that hurtled toward the planet. She quickly took off and went to where she thought it would land. Leek didn't believe her eyes when she saw a large, round ship landing on the surface. Whatever was inside it was not good. Soon, the other fighters appeared beside Leek and watched the ship land.

"What is that ship?" Leek asked them, "It looks familiar, I've seen it before somewhere…" She took on a look of shock which soon faded and turned into a smirk. "Looks like I get to kill him after all…"

The door of the ship opened in a cloud of smoke. Out of it stepped Frieza. Almost everyone was shocked about his appearance. His body was made up of mechanical parts now and he felt stronger than before. Behind him was a large alien, he looked a lot like Frieza in his second form. A relative perhaps?

"So I've found you at last..." Frieza called, "Yet I do not see that Saiyan among you. Is he gone?"

"Yes he is." Leek replied, "But don't think that we're weak without him." Frieza laughed a cold laugh in response.

"You think that you can stand up to me?" he asked mockingly, "I'll break you just as easily as I did last time, you pathetic monkey!"

"No." Leek responded sharply, "It will not be the same. I'm far stronger now. I have attained the means with which to tear you to shreds. Behold your end, Frieza!"

The air around Leek started to get excited. The ground rumbled and cracked underneath her, and her hair began to rise and stick up. Her aura and hair began to blaze in a bright gold, her tail also. Leek's power shot through the roof as she released all of her energy out at once. Now standing before Frieza was a completely different Leek, a Super Saiyan.

"I'll warn you." she told Frieza, "I'm not the same as Goku. I won't give you the option of revival. Die!"

With that, Leek charged straight at Frieza and punched him straight in the face, sending him far out into the air. She chased him and arrived above him. Leek spread her arms out wide and stared straight at him with shining green eyes. "Finale Encore!" she shouted. Suddenly, about eight large energy balls surrounded Frieza, and began to grow in size. In mere seconds, they were crushing his body with insane force. When they reached their limit, the balls exploded and consumed Frieza entirely in a massive blast. The alien who was behind Frieza looked on in shock at the warrior who annihilated Frieza. There was nothing left when the smoke cleared up. Even the other fighters looked on in surprise. Leek went down and landed softly on the ground in front of the ship.

"Are you next?" she asked the alien. Frightened, he backed away quickly. "You're too late for mercy. I'll take you on next-" She was interrupted by a large blast that hit Frieza's ship. It wasn't quite a blast, more of a crash. The force completely wrecked the ship and drove it into the ground. Anything that was inside it would surely have been killed by it. Leek only knew one that could do something like that, considering how strong that ship was. From the ship rose a girl. She looked to be about eleven years old and had black hair which went back into a ponytail. She was wearing a battle suit like Leek's old one and her power signature was immense. Her gaze softened when she saw Leek. The girl threw herself at her and tackled her.

"Mama!" she cried as she leapt at Leek, "Mama, I found you!" The rest of the fighters looked confused at this sudden appearance. "What were you doing, you've been gone way too long?"

"What are you doing here?" Leek asked the girl, "I told you to stay with the others until I got back."

"You've been gone for two years." the girl replied, "Normally you only take a month or two. What is the problem?"

"I'll explain it to you when I get rid of this pest." Leek told her. The girl looked at the alien.

"Hey there." she announced to him, "My name's Kale. Want to play with me?" Before the alien could speak, Kale had charged at him and head-butted him right in the c.h.e.s.t, shattering his armour into pieces and making him cough up some blood. "You're no fun. Mama could've taken that easily. Oh well." She smacked him dead on and drove him straight into a cliff. He didn't seem to get up.

"Who…who are you?" Krillin questioned in shock, "Are you another Saiyan, or something else?"

"Let me explain…" Leek replied, "This is Kale. I found her as a baby whilst on a mission, and she's stuck with me since. When we measured her power, she was rated at ten thousand. Her strength exceeds even the super elite Saiyans. If I were to give an estimate, I would say that her power is almost the same as mine."

"Mama." Kale called to Leek, "Tell me what you were doing. Are you doing your mission or not?"

"I've found a new mission, Kale." Leek told her, "There is much to learn from the Earthlings, so much that destroying it would leave us at a disadvantage. Take this form, for example. This is a form that only legends spoke of, a Super Saiyan."

"So what are you going to do, Mama?" Kale asked, "Will you leave the Gamma Force?"

"No." Leek replied, "I will tell them that this mission will take longer. Zarya trusts me, he'll let it go. If you want, you can stay here too. I can teach you how to access this form if you do."

"Uh…" Krillin interrupted, "I still don't understand this. So, Leek has a daughter. She also left said daughter behind for two years. Isn't that kinda bad?"

"Don't be stupid." Vegeta told him, "Saiyans are born warriors. We don't need constant supervision like you Earthlings. We're not helpless at this age. Leek was doing what any Saiyan mother would do. Though it may have been better to keep an eye on a baby with such a high power level. It reminds me of something from when I was younger…"

Suddenly, there was clapping from behind a cliff. Out of it stepped a young man, with purple hair and a blue jacket. On his back was a sword that looked like it had seen battle. "It's nice to see that you're alright." he said, "I didn't have to step in it seems." He walked all the way up to Leek and Kale, and stopped. "You're pretty strong. Both of you. You're just the people to help me."

"And who are you?" Leek asked.

"Let's just say that I'm a friend." the man replied, "A friend who has a warning. Let's wait for Goku to arrive first."

"Goku's coming?" Leek questioned, "How do you know this?"

"Call it a hunch." the man told her, "He'll be arriving here in the next three hours." He took a small capsule and threw it to the ground. A small fridge appeared in a puff of smoke. "Want to sit and wait for a while? You can have your mother-daughter talk then."

"Who's Goku?" Kale asked, "Is he famous here or something?"

"Goku is a Saiyan, just like me." Leek replied, "He stood up to Frieza the first time around. But it seems that he didn't finish the job. There's also Prince Vegeta over there."

"I'll go get some chairs." the man said. Thus, the wait for Goku's return began.
