DC - Dark Wars

"Green Arrow, how many times do I need to apologize? I am sure she is fine." Speedy told Green Arrow over the radio as they finally began to make their way onto the ship.

It was not unusual for Speedy to call Oliver by his heroic name when they were communicating with each other in the field. This way, their secret identities could still be protected until some crazy facial recognition technology was available to the common criminal.

"If you are done talking, I suggest you start taking down every one of Rudy's men on your side of the ship. There is not telling how many people he hired in order to leave with Black Canary." Green Arrow responded to Speedy before jumping into action.

There were a total of four guards on the outside deck of the ship standing guard. They were all in different sections of this deck, but if something happened to one of them, the other three would most likely know right away.

Drawing his weapon, the Green Arrow fired an arrow towards the first of his targets. Before the arrow reached this guard, the tip fell off and a net came from within it, causing the guard to be tied up.

In the next moment, the Green Arrow fired another arrow towards the guard that his first attack was seen by. This arrow seemed to have missed as it did not actually make contact with this guard, but underneath his legs.

However, the Green Arrow smiled as he jumped and landed on top of the guard who was still tied up by the net, causing the guard to pass out immediately.

At the same time, his other arrow gave off a small explosion as what seemed to be glass broke off of it. Before the guard could aim his gun at the Green Arrow, the gas that the explosion caused made its way into the guard's mouth.

Confused on how his head was losing control of his body, the guard dropped his gun before falling backwards onto the wooden deck. What the guard did not realize before fainting, was that the Green Arrow shot an explosive arrow with some sleep type gas inside.

On the other side of the ship, Speedy was able to take down three guards, but the fourth called for backup and over nine more ran onto the deck with their weapons drawn.

"Hey, so I am not sure whether or not I will be able to get passed these guards without causing Rudy to notice that we have arrived. What should I do?" Speedy now taking cover, asked the Green Arrow over the radio.

Unfortunately, Speedy did not know, but the Green Arrow had just found himself in a similar situation with five thugs aiming their guns at him as well!
