DC - Dark Wars

-Back in the room where Rudy and the Black Canary were located-

"Oh, the girl is spitting now? How... interesting...." Rudy said for his men to hear before backhanding the Black Canary.

Screaming from the pain of Rudy's slap which caused her to fall backwards on the chair, it was very clear that the Black Canary was struggling for her life now more than ever.

After just several breaths of time, Rudy ordered his men to check to make sure that she was still conscious and to place her back sitting upright in the chair which she was still bound to.

"If I do not kill you, he absolutely will." the Black Canary told Rudy before trying to smile from the fear Rudy started showing in his eyes from her words.

Every criminal who had dealt with the Green Arrow in the past, would be dangerously hurt, and many were unable to recover. Knowing his history, Rudy felt that if he was able to pinpoint his location, he might go through the same amount of torture.

"You have a good point there doll, all of you can now leave us. I want to know the loading progress. Something tells me that the Green Arrow will not be pulling his punches if he tracks this ship down.

After giving his orders, Rudy's men who were in the room split up into two teams and went their separate ways. The Green Arrow's tactics would not be clear if he were to try to take down the ship, so splitting up would be the best idea for now until they set sail.

"I really do not want to hurt you." now with his men gone, Rudy started to talk a little softer to the Black Canary. Almost as if he was putting on an act earlier.

"Then why not just let me go?" confused on why Rudy was now acting in this way, the Black Canary felt that she could only use this opportunity to extract intel from him.

"My boss wants me to deliver you to him alive. After seeing your photo, I felt that you would make for a great queen of the empire that I am trying to create." Rudy said as he took a towel from his desk and wiped the Black Canary's face.

"If you are obedient, once my boss takes your powers from you, he may grant you the ability to remain alive and under my care. Wouldn't that be nice?" Rudy asked the Black Canary.
