Delayed Transfer

Mark, Donald and his brother went directly to Amanda’s room.  When they got there they’ve asked everyone to leave although Donald asked the guards, and the doctor to remain just outside the room.  Donald and his brother both asked Mark if they could come inside the room with him and have a look on what he was going to do and Mark agreed.  To be honest, if they didn’t mention it, he would have asked them to go inside the room with him since he was still a little afraid of the situation.

It was bright in the room and Mark could see Elizabeth sleeping on the bed peacefully.  He decided to stay where he was standing and cast the Dryad’s Circle.  The trees grew inside the room and something different happened.  The dryad, the lady in the trees, actually came out from the trees and attacked Amanda.  Actually when they carefully watched, the dryad wasn’t actually attacking Amanda, she was grabbing something from inside the woman and they saw something was being dragged out.  The dryad was dragging something awful.  It looked like a much more grotesque version of a goblin with long ears.  It was speaking in incomprehensible language.  The ugly evil looking creature kept on fighting the dryad.  Donald and his brother, the lawyer looked at the evil creature that came out of Amanda with horror.

The dryad was holding the creature using both of her hands but she looked like she was having a hard time containing the evil creature.  The dryad then looked at Mark and he heard a whisper on his mind “summon the guardians of the forest”.  Before the Dryad’s Circle expired, Mark cast it again to refresh it and then he summon the Tree Golems.  Two trees grew in the center of the room then turned into the Tree Golems. One of the Tree Golem held the creature the dryad was holding and the dryad let go.  The other Tree Golem attacked it by whipping it continuously using its branches like hands until the creature got destroyed. 

The Dryad looked at the remains of the creature haughtily then she looked at them before she disappeared together with the trees.  Mark cancelled the golems so they disappeared as well.  The fragmented corpse of the evil creature remained on the floor almost unrecognizable.

Donald and his brother woke up from their stupor and looked at Mark in awe.  Mark just shrugged and they heard Amanda waking up.

“What happened?” they heard her cry.

Donald rushed to Amanda and briefly hugged her.  “Amanda are you okay?”

Amanda stopped moving for a bit and they could see her inspecting her body and mind. “Actually I’m doing okay! I don’t hurt anywhere and I don’t hear the voice anymore!  What happened Donald? Did you do something?”

Donald moved a bit and pointed at the corpse in the middle of the room.  Although it was in pieces, the head was still clearly visible and you can see its horrifying visage.  Amanda got scared and clutched at Donald.  “Oh my God, what is that!”

“That came out from inside of you.  More than likely, that’s the creature that you keep hearing the voice of.  My friend, Mark, the one over there, summoned a forest inside this room and a beautiful lady came out of the trees and dragged off that creature from you, then the lady summoned her tree friends who assisted in killing it.”

Amanda stared at Donald.  They could actually see her stare was filled with skepticism.  “Its true.” Donald insisted and his brother agreed.

Amanda suddenly stopped and said, “I may have a video of what happened in the room.  Ever since this started, I asked somebody to install a video camera filming the whole room.  Let’s go watch it.”

Amanda was decisive.  She stood up, wobbled a bit then firmed herself.  A good thing she was wearing a modest dress.  After donning a robe, together with Donald and his brother, they walked to another room in the mansion where all the recordings of the camera surrounding the property were kept.  Of course, Mark followed them and Amanda seemed to not care if he did.  Before they left, he asked one of the guards to not let anybody enter Amanda’s room.  When they arrived in the security room, she took a hard drive from one of the gadgets inside and attach it to one of the laptops there.  Then they watched the recording.

Amanda saw everything that happened in the room earlier.  First she was full of wonder when she saw the trees growing and the dryad appearing.  Then she was horrified when she saw the dryad dragging something out of her.  She watched closely until the end of the film.  Mark was glad when he saw the recording because if you looked at the situation in the room closely, you could only see the trees appearing and not who cast the spell.   

Amanda then looked at Mark in awe.  “Are you a wizard or a druid?”

Mark didn’t answer and just said to Amanda to not show the recording to anybody and to not tell the media his name or his involvement in any supernatural situation.  Honestly, Mark didn’t care anymore if things got out because first off, the recording didn’t show him doing anything out of the ordinary. Second, because of who Donald and Amanda were, they knew how to keep things private and Donald knew who to share the knowledge to.  As long as they were rich and willing to pay it’s more than fine with him.

They all went out of the control room and Amanda said that they would talk in the living room and Donald would lead him.  She went back to  to her own bedroom to freshen herself up.

They waited in an elegant room filled with tasteful antique furniture.  After a few minutes, Amanda came.  They all stood up and Amanda invited everyone to sit.  She asked one of the maids that Donald brought to bring some refreshments. 

Since there were just four of them in the room, Mark, Donald and his brother the lawyer and Amanda, Donald told Amanda what happened to Elizabeth and how she got cured.  Donald also told Amana that the trees and the dryad also cured her of any remaining ailment she might have.
