Delayed Transfer

It was early evening when Armina and Enleed arrived at the same time.  Mark and Sam introduced Melissa to the players and Melissa suddenly talked to Armina in private.

While the two girls were talking,  Sam told Enleed that he could stay in the room alone for now since there was only one bed and he would go home to his old apartment first.  They will purchase all the things they would need as roomies tomorrow.  Enleed said that he didn’t have any money and Sam told  him he shouldn’t worry about that since Mark would be covering the expenses.  Mark just rolled his eyes at Sam and re-assured Enleed.

Mark was waiting for Armina and Melissa to finish their talk before he could tell the group about Donald’s decision.

Once Armina and Melissa were done,  Melissa announced to the group that she would be living with them and that she would be bunking with Armina in the third room.  Armina said that since the room was very large and that she would be staying for free, she didn’t mind Melissa joining her. They, of course would re-design the room to be more comfortable for two people and that Mark would be paying for the expenses.  Mark just shrugged and agreed  He did still have 20 plus million dollars on his account and more money would be coming in soon once Donald pay them.

Regarding the role of the healer, Mark announced that Donald would be the one handling the role.  He would come in tomorrow for a meet and greet and would ask for their bank account numbers so he can send them their share on the two million dollars.  He also told them that Elizabeth, his wife would be joining the party as well and it would be his responsibility to protect her.

The members of the party just shrugged and said that it was fine since he’s the party leader anyway, it would be his decision.  They also requested to postpone the meeting to tomorrow evening since they would be spending the early hours tomorrow in arranging their rooms.  Mark agreed and immediately called Donald to tell him that the meeting would be around six in the evening.

Mark told the group some of the details of the dungeon.  He told them that the first floor is a safe place that they could use as the group’s base.  They could also use that place to practice their skill.  He led them downstairs to show the first floor to his party mates.  The only remaining furniture in the first floor was the huge table where he put in the equipment.

Sam told the others that he already tested the sword he would like to test the other equipment as well.  Armina, Enleed and Melissa also told him they would like to test the dungeon items as well.  Mark said to them to go ahead enjoy themselves testing.

While he was watching at the side, Sam taught the group how to activate the skills and they decided to do it one by one.  Sam went first since he already tested the sword.  He picked up the staff and raised it dramatically.  Suddenly a fireball appeared at the top of the staff and the Sam pointed the staff to the wall.  The fireball flew rapidly to the wall and then exploded.  The group cheered as if they were watching fireworks.  Sam then said he wanted to do it again but Armina objected and said to  move to the next item. 

Sam picked up the bow and activated Triple Strafe when he shot an arrow.  Even though he was holding the bow wobbly,, the arrow that was shot glowed with blue light and split into three.  Like magic missile, it hit the wall one after another like it had homing ability.  The group clapped their hands when they saw it.  The next item was the scepter.  When Sam shot the skill Holy Bolt, a bright color white bolt flew and hit the wall.  Mark the told Sam to hit him with the Holy Bolt and Sam did.  Mark didn’t feel anything, more than likely it was because he wasn’t injured. 

The next one who tested the items was Melissa because she insisted.  She tested all the items including the sword and everybody were still clapping like children watching a magic show.  After Melissa, Armina did the testing then Enleed.  Once they were done, they put everything on the table and went upstairs. 

Mark and the group decided to celebrate by eating outside.  While they were eating in a nice restaurant they found, the group talk loudly about the skills and how they felt using it.  They also speculated on what other type of items they could get when they dungeon dive.  They weren’t particularly careful since anybody who heard them would assume they were playing some online or tabletop role playing game which was common nowadays.

Mark then showed them the video of the Bush Golems that he uploaded on YouTube and told them that those were his summons.  The girls screamed and said that they were extremely cute. 

Sam asked Mark since he already defeated the 10th floor boss, why were there only weapons and no armors.  Mark told Sam that since this would be their adventure, they should wear what they would pick on their battles to make it much more enjoyable.  Enleed then asked what happened to the other items and Mark just told them that he left it in the dungeon where they dropped since they were heavy and they just disappeared.

Sam and Melissa went home after their dinner and said they will be returning early in the morning to start purchasing things for their rooms.  Mark, Armina and  Enleed went back home to rest.

When Mark was in his bedroom resting, he thought of the possible consequences of his recent actions.  He knew that everything could go wrong but then again he really wanted to enjoy the remaining time he had left on earth with his friends adventuring together. 

Mark also remembered that they didn’t have any food in the house so he had to assign one or two of the guys to do grocery shopping.  He actually didn’t know why he was averse in telling them his Inventory and Replicate skills but he felt that what he to told them already was too much and he wouldn’t want to overwhelm them or maybe he just want to keep some things to himself.
