Delayed Transfer

Mark and the gang continued forward and he didn’t stop filming.  The next group of enemy consisted of wolves and goblins again and there were three wolves and three goblin and one goblin was a shaman and one was an archer.

Mark summoned the Bush Golems and had them on standby to defend Elizabeth and Melissa.  Enleed cast his Fireball to hit the goblin shaman and Armina shot a Triple Strafe to the archer.  Armina and Enleed hit their target but unfortunately the goblin shaman was successful in casting his fireball and Enleed was hit by it. 

The good thing about their formation was, they were scattered enough that the only one who was affected by the fireball was Enleed and Donald was fast enough in hitting Enleed with Holy Bolt that Enleed didn’t suffer too much and was healed immediately.  His armor durability went down a bit but that’s it. 

Mark was really expecting to have a good laugh if Enleed’s hair or eyebrows were burnt off but unfortunately the Fire Ball effect was dispersed by the armor somewhat.  He wondered if Holy Bolt would assist in growing hair if it was burnt off by the enemy skills.

“Oh my God, I thought Enleed will be killed by that Fireball.  So scary!”  Melissa said to Mark since the both of them together with Elizabeth were by the side watching everyone fought off the enemies. 

Enleed got angry and casted Fire Bolt to the goblin shaman killing it off.  Sam handled the wolves fairly well with assistance from Donald’s Holy Bolt which kept stunning them.  The gang was successful in vanquishing the most recent group of enemies and they waited for the loot to appear.

They were a bit lucky since four items dropped. One iron bow, one mage robe, one leather pants and one iron spear.  Enleed took the mage robe and wore it and gave his leather shirt to Melissa.  Sam took the leather pants and gave his old one to her as well and the spear was given to Melissa as well.  Melissa declined the spear and said she wanted to have magic the same as Enleed so they gave the spear to Donald and he stored it on his ring.  He said that Elizabeth would like to use magic or something that heals as well.

Mark thought of running the 10th floor again the next day to get an item with a skill so Melissa and Elizabeth would have something to use.  The group moved forward and kept on killing all of the enemies they encountered.  Enleed was able to complete his mage set and even Melissa and Elizabeth were able to complete a mage set as well.  The other items were given to Donald since he said that they would be useful for research or after some modification for his guards to use since it added to stats that would make anyone who wore it stronger.  Mark said he was okay with anything since he was purchasing those items anyway.

“Mark, aren’t you worried that this will come out?  Any items from this dungeon is worth investigating either by the government or any private sector interested in human advancement."  Donald asked Mark.

"The ring that summons my dungeon has a time limit.  It will only last for a year and its already been a month so that means only 11 months left.  That means that we have to do everything we can to milk it for all its worth and were getting stronger.  The sad fact was the durability of the dungeon is not use base but time base meaning even if we enter the dungeon everyday or once every month, it will still only last for a year.”  Mark paused and turn off the video recording of the phone since he actually forgot.

“As I have said, we were getting stronger and getting use in combating monster.  After two more dungeon dive, I am going to propose that we do it more frequently since we have limited time and we can only get the really good items at the lower level of the dungeons.  Honestly if any of the items were exposed, they can’t do anything about it since the dungeon portal is tied to me and nobody can use it and honestly I’m strong enough now to protect myself and sooner or later,  all of us here will get stronger too since at the lower level of the dungeon we can get accessory that we can always wear that will give us power.  That storage ring alone is a good example because you can wear it anywhere and you can use it to store your dungeon items and wear them in an emergency.” 

Everybody stopped for a bit and contemplated on what it meant to be stronger it terms of having more dungeon items.  The accessory alone that could cure cancer is heaven defying enough.  What they could get from the lower levels were unimaginable. 

Mark could actually see the reaction of the people among the group who realized the implication of the power they could get from the dungeon and amongst them  were Donald and Elizabeth.  At first, Mark thought that more than likely, Elizabeth would stop following Donald in dungeon diving but the power that the dungeon could provide would tempt anyone.

“I will give another example.  I got this Legendary Purple Mage’s Venom Fang from the 15th Floor of the dungeon and it is giving me a ton of stat points.”  Mark then used the dagger to cast a poison spear to the distance.

“That poison spear alone together with the stat bonuses it give can one shot any enemy we encounter from level two to level nine.  So that item alone is from the 15th floor.  Imagine what we could get from the boss of the 20th floor.”

“Oh my God! I can’t wait!” Sam exclaimed.

“Hey Mark, you should let me use that dagger.”  Melissa wheedled.

“No.  It’s scary to think you handling it.  What if you accidentally shoot one of us! And the stat if the dagger would help me with my dungeon dive.”

“Hey!  I’m not stupid but I guess you’re right.  It’s just like a gun and of course since you need it, you should use it.”

“We should increase the dungeon dive then.”  Armina proposed and everybody agreed.

“Can your bodies handle it?  It’s pretty exhausting to dungeon dive."  Mark said.

"We should do it twice a week but with a few days in between like every Sunday and Wednesday.”  Donald suggested.

“Do all of you would like to try that?” Mark asked.  Everybody agreed so he then stated that starting next week, they would do a full day dungeon dive every Wednesday and every Sunday.

The 3rd Floor run was  a success since Enleed, Melissa and Elizabeth completed their mage robe set except Enleed kept the Levitating Shoes that he didn’t even use, and Donald had a lot of dungeon items that he would like to keep.  He gave the extra that he didn’t want to Mark and he stored it on his Inventory pretending to store it on the leather satchel.  When they got to the first floor, Mark put the satchel in the table and everybody took their items with them since Mark allowed them to.
