Finally! Just finally! Some food has landed in my growling stomach and thanks for Cayde, he looked out by buying me these stringy things called Ramen Noodles. He is obsessed with them.

"Thank you," I said as I leaned back on the lounge chair that happens to be up against the wall by a music player that plays upbeat music. This little gathering place was underneath the hangar and I quite like it. It could be considered as a social hangout because everyone is down here, drinking and having a time of their lives. Hearing a drink being poured in a cup noticed that he was handed to me, I raised a brow and looked over at Cayde. "What is this green...monstrosity?"

"A drink that keeps you refreshed. It might taste like death to you, but to me, it's perfect." He lifted the drink as a toast and put it to his robotic lips.

"I'll pass. I'll drink my water." I leaned over and grabbed my water and placed it on my lips. Crips and clean. I turned to look at Cayde. I have never been close to an Exo like this before, especially with a horn in the middle of their forehead. I died right when they were being introduced to the Reef. However, his gear was dark green but even so, his blue mechanics and blue eyes could be seen if standing under a light. But I guess he tries to hide through the shadows of what could be a nightmare. Although I can feel his sadness and pain, his dark demeanor means he been through a lot even with his jokingly matter. What catches me off guard is that he sounds so human, I wonder if he was human once...Hmmm; gazing at him, his orange eyes looked at his cup as if he was collecting his thoughts before taking a swig. I was lowkey checking him out and noticed he had a spade symbol on the left side of his c.h.e.s.t. Something about that symbol means much more than memories or darkness could mean. I leaned back and sighed as I closed my eyes. Ghost was in my hands asleep while my mind was in a million places. I woke up from the dead, met this thing named Ghost and now I'm fighting Fallen. Traveler, what is it that you want from me? Why do you want me to fight these demons and sacrifice my life for others that I do not know or slightly care about? Is the Speaker your voice or does he speak on what he knows? Was he there when the light had faded within the darkness? I sighed as the questions flood my head. I shouldn't have committed to this. I should have run, but again, death is knocking on the door at this point.

"Zavala wants you." I jolted up just by hearing his name and turned to Cayde that held his hand out to me. I grabbed my ghost and place my hand in his and have him pull me up. He bowed his head in respect and winked at me.

"Oh, I have seen what you did out there during the Restoration. You did well especially with the aim of the gunslinger. Keep up the good work, Hunter. Also, see Amanda about your ship, she either upgraded you with a new one or upgraded you with a new one. No in-between."

"Thanks again, Cayde." I waved with my empty as I watched him go. Something about him intrigues me. I sighed as I held up Ghost and smiled as I rubbed its cubic self like a cat. "Wake up Ghost. Time to get moving. Zavala wants to see us, again."

"Alright, you know the way. Let's go." He did this little yawn thing that was so cute that I imagined him do a stretch when you first wake up. He began floating next to me as I picked my things up from the table and threw them in the trash next to the chair. Making my way between people and towards the stairs to go back up to the hangar area. I would have just walked on but I overheard the conversation.

"Cayde got her food? He's never done that for anyone!"

"She must be sleeping with him." What?! What kind of bullshit assumption is that?

I looked down and seen two female Guardians that are seemed to be higher up than me of course. They had better gear on especially the Titan. I looked at the design on the c.h.e.s.t plate and I stopped breathing for a second, Future War Cult? I haven't seen them since The Golden Age. War machines. That's exactly what they are. Founded by Dr. Maya Sundaresh and her team. They were experimenting with the Vex at the time for some inspiration so they can use the Vex devices to look into the future. Yet, there's so much with the FWC that the Queen did not want me to be apart of their cult, maybe she knew something that I still don't know. However, I looked down at the human Titan and the human Warlock that both had bob cuts and the same tan creamy skin with brown. They had a marking under their eyes but I couldn't tell because the lights were dim but I could make everything else. They had to be sisters but I smirked at them.

"No. He bought me food because I just woke up from the dead and I'm broke at the moment. Now, take your high-end asses and shove your guns so far up your a.s.s. You two are just bitches."

Their mouth dropped down but I already made way to the top. "You told them. Now let's check..." Ghost paused as he dashed forward quickly "Where's my ship?!"

"Ah, you must be Silvia." I heard a loud voice as I turned to the direction it was coming from. I walked towards it to find a blonde hair female with a red scarf around her neck with goggles hanging around her neck as well. She was also wearing a sleeveless jacket that was a dark gray but wasn't dark enough since I could see the oil stains from the sh.i.p.s. Brown pants and brown boots that were also covered in oil. Either she is a repairman or she likes playing in oil. Her right arm was tatted. It was fully black on the shoulder till you reach the top of her b.r.e.a.s.t. Then there are six lines. Every other one was either dark or light. I wonder what that's about.

"That I am." I crossed my arm as I looked around. Tools and tools and more tools. Robots were moving boxes and crates around and I can hear the jingles of bolts and screws. However, I jumped once I noticed a small mirror on the woman billboard that was behind her. Wow, I haven't changed much. My purple skin was bright and still had the light lingering along my skin. My hair was still black with my bangs pushed towards my left eye. Up in a tight bun with some hair coming out on the side with a little woosh to it. My lips were a pale pink that a pale pink rose would match. Dying looks good on me. Yes, that was a bad joke. I still looked young but have a lot on my mind that made me older.

"I'm Amanda Holiday the shipwright. To answer your question, I upgraded you to a much more better ship. The one you came in with, wouldn't even make it to the moon."

"Is the warp drive in there?" Ghost flew over as I walked behind him.

"Yes, everything is there and also-"

"That's my old ship!" I shouted as I damn near tripped over some stairs just to go look at it. This will be a ship I will never forget. Not only was I gifted this, but I was also the first one to have it. The Queen made sure I rode in style. The thing looked like a gun, and guess what, it is. The long front is a barrel of its own. As the back had wings that could be considered as butterfly wings. "Ceres Galliot is her name." I walked around it and ran my hand against it. On the right-wing was a gun and rose engraved on it. The Queen gave me the name Killer Rose. I went ahead and told Reef mechanics to honored that and that's what they did. The ship was a pastel blue shade to it and believe me when I say this, got part of me back.

"Ah, so it does have a name. Well if anything is wrong with it let me know. I'm the shipwright of the Tower and I repair and recommission the sh.i.p.s "

I looked up and gave her a thumbs up. "How did you find her?"

"At the same place where you died. Now Zavala is looking for you and he sounds very unpleasant." I nodded as I ran up the stairs and out of the hangar and down the hall to the point I'm almost out of breath.

"Ghost help me here!" And bam at the end of the table out of breath. Zavala scoffed and Ikora was amused. And Cayde...clapping? Why is he clapping?

"Guardian." I bow my head to all three as Ikora eyed me like I did something amazing. Her head was bald, but her eyes were a honey brown. Lips were a natural brown and pursed. Her purple trench coat flowed down to her ankles as her brown pants hugged her figure. The trench coat collar covered all of her necks but the head. The belt around her was an orange fabric that seemed to be tied to her right side. Gold and silver gauntlets and her black heavy boots. Her aura seemed calm as if she's more interested me than Zavala. "You did well. I need you to investigate reports of a hidden power trapped in the cosmodrome Array stations."

"But check this out, no one and I mean not a single soul in history killed an Archon as a newbie. But you did. Good job, Silvia." That's why he was clapping. "We have been looking for Riksis for centuries."

"Thank you. I shall report soon. Also, stop calling me Guardian. I have a name."

"Ms. Rose, be careful out there. We lost many we don't want to see another one go." Zavala...cares?

"I promise." I bowed my head and took my leave. I walked up the steps but I was already being transmitted to the hangar. I must admit, I can walk anywhere but being transmitted is fun.

"Ghost, why can't we transmit to different planets?"

"I wish. But we aren't built for that. We keep you alive and transmit you around but not eons away." Bummer.

"Amanda, I'm rolling out!" I walked down some stairs and was instantly brought to my ship. Probably because it is huge, who knows at this point. I see other Guardians come in with their sh.i.p.s and I'm awed about them. Different sizes and colors but, I will keep this one. I jumped up and on the barrel and walked along to open the hatch. I'm so giddily because I can't wait to fly it. I'm surprised I still know how to.

"Oh, I don't know if you know this but it won't move. So we placed it there." I nodded as I sat on my chair. I sighed as Ghost came beside me and looked at me. He never saw anything this, no one has. The Earth wasn't allowed to see any of this machinery because the Queen had...a different outlook on them. But some of our people did come to Earth and the Queen would not allow them to take anything with them. I wonder if she knows I'm alive. I shook my thoughts deep down as I flipped some switches on.

"Password please."

"Do you know the-"

I placed a hand up to shut him as I smirked. "Killer Rose," I spoke clearly as the hatch closed

"Granted." Flipping switches on as I watch gauges swings their arrows. I felt it come alive as it began to float. Amanda came on the dash screen.

"Clear to go."

See, with this ship, there's no throttle. It's controlled within the wheel. I pulled back on the when to lift the big girl and pushed that wheel in.

"Ooooooo weeeeeee! This is what I'm talking about. Speed with class!"

Oh yeah. I'm having fun now.

"There are reports that the Fallen back at the Cosmodrome are keeping a pretty tight guard on the old Skywatch. It could be one of their leaders, or it could be something valuable. The Speaker's asking Guardians to look into it."

"If other Guardians are looking into it, why must I?" I landed the ship right where I had it before. I turned everything off and Opened the hatch. I transmitted right across the river as soon as I got up.

"I do not know. If they're having someone looking at the same place either mean Guardians didn't see anything or didn't do it. Come on, the Skywatch is just on the other side of the Steppes. And before you ask, yes, its surrounded by Fallen. "

I grunted as I began to walk along with Ghost. He was right, other Guardians were here. Bunch of them. Some were setting up camp or talking with one another. The smell of Ether was lingering in the air. You know, helmets aren't really necessary because I can still breathe the air that could kill me but I guess it does matter. My helmet was close to as a titan helmet. Big enough to think your ego is huge but light enough to carry on your head.

"Ain't that the Guardian that killed the Archon?"

"I think so. It doesn't look like she could have. But she did land that ship over yonder. Maybe she works for someone?"

"Gina, shut up and break the code on this thing."

I sighed deeply as I walked passed the shed the two other Hunters were. They were glaring at me because I looked back. I don't think they knew I heard them. I pulled my hood down on my cloak closer to my face and sighed.

"Cheer up Sil, they're jealous. Like I said before, ignore them." I nodded as I brought my gun behind me as I continued to walk a dirt trail. As soon as I came up a hill, there were a bunch of slaughtered sh.i.p.s. I began walking down and something told me to bring my gun and glad I did. 3 Fallen came from the insides from the broken plane and began shooting at me. I shot right back and they don't last long.

"Behind you." I dropped down and one Fallen flipped over me and I shot him in the head. I swear on The Traveler, I hate them.

"I wish I could just you know....snap them away or you know kill one and they all die! They're so annoying!" I shouted as I brought my gun down. Ghost sighed and came to my face which I wasn't expecting that.

"Complaining isn't going to do anything. So just deal with it like the rest." I huffed as I wanted to kill this thing, but I can't. I can't f.u.c.k.i.n.g win! "You know, this place must've been amazing before the collapse. Thousands of humans boarding colony sh.i.p.s, off to build cities beyond."

"Thank the Traveler for ruining that plan. Also, Thank the Traveler for ruining the Reef's plan to take Mars. But you know...with each light, there's darkness." He knew I was right. I was supposed to go on that mission to Mars the next day after seeing what was on Cosmodrome. But no, that big ball thing ruined my life.

"Up the hill. The building with the radar is the Skywatch." Bet. I walked up the hill with a slight shortcut and I looked like I interrupted a party.

"Oh hi there." I stabbed one and watched him fall, the other two were trying to gang up on me."Ghost do I have something heavy?"

"Yes. Found it in the c.h.e.s.t that we opened up the other day." I brought it up and holy shit, the weapon itself is heavy and I accidentally fired it and not only did the Fallen blew up but I also created a hole. Oops. While it was firing I was pushed into a rusted car behind me and dropped the launcher? Definitely was a launcher. I shouldn't have questioned that. I rubbed the back of my head and I sighed.

"Ow!" I got up slowly and brushed the dirt off. "Please give me my auto back. Not doing that again anytime soon." Feeling the auto in my hand I continued in the Skywatch. I brought the gun up and watched every step. Listening to anything that could be of harm. The building was dark but I could see from the faint light.

"We're in. This was one of Skywatch's old array stations-a link to the lunar colonies."

"Ah, so a satellite to the moon and back Why would the Fallen want this?"

"It's Fallen. They want to run Venus and the Moon." Ghost sighs as we notice a gate was closed. That stench. The smell of death lingered. I don't like this. "Dead end. Fallen sealed this gate. I can get it open."

"The Fallen I knew, obeyed. These Fallen has no type of remorse. They run wild but get the job done. I wonder who controls them." I leaned up the back wall watching him break the seal.

"The Fallen didn't want anyone getting in. Or out," He paused. "You're talking about the House of Wolves. Queen's pets."

I nodded as the gate open. "Queen's pets knew better not to step out of line though." I held the gun tightly to my side because something was uneasy about this place. I'm usually okay with exploring, but this feeling is different.

"What is this? Lots of motion ahead," each step I took, the more I became nervous. "I have a bad feeling about this." We both said together. The ghost knew I was not feeling this. It was dark, I mean really dark. Ghost couldn't light the room up all the way and that was triggering my anxiety. My heart was skipping beats. I held my gun extra tight because I don't know what's about to happen at all. But that stench, I smelled it before but don't remember where. Nonetheless, I took a few steps in. I was about to take another one until I met something with three eyes on their heads. Same as Eris Morn...

"The Hive! They're already here!" I shot it in the head but it wouldn't fall easily so I kept shooting it. About 7 bullets did the trick. I would rather deal with the Fallen now. Focusing on that thing, I got attacked by these crying, deathly things. I lost the grip of my gun and was pulled down.

"Not today!" Activating my gunslinger they automatically burned I seen more in the distance as I threw fire grenades at them. Threw of one those then use my hand cannon, but I saw another three eye thing and shot my cannon and that fell. Then another three eye thing, shot one bullet at it same thing, he fell. Now, I don't know what created these things, but I had these blue brain things and were marching at me. I used the last bullet from my cannon and... they exploded. Not getting nowhere near those things.

"Ghost! What the hell?!" I shouted it seemed that I killed them all? Maybe? I slid next to a pillar and turned my head, there was one straggler and I killed him instantly. "These...those...these...!" I couldn't even call them what they are! My mind isn't wrapping around the fact that I just witness what Eris Morn dealt with. I turned away from the pillar and climbed more stairs to climb more stairs but luckily lights became visible, so Ghost turned off the flashlight.

"This is bad. This is really bad!" Ghost voice was shaky.

"You think!" I shouted and that gain attention from a thing that came after me downstairs. "Shit!" I turned and shot it. I ran in to try and take cover but it wasn't happening. "Do they smell me or do they feast on living things?!" I tried to knife these nonhuman things but more and more kept coming after me.

"There's a Wizard here! Kill the damn thing!"

"Don't have to tell me twice! The hell with this!" Smoke was coming from my gun because I was clearing around more than I was killing. They. Won't. Stop. Few rounds here and few rounds there. I tried to clear the room but it was hard. The smell of death is irking me because it stinks. I see the wizard face. Ugly with its tethered dress and long nails. She's the witch everyone hates in a children's book. I felt the power surge inside and I instantly activated my gunslinger. The heat was soothing but the pain I cause on these demons was wonderful. I pointed my cannon at and felt the bullet leave as I pulled the trigger and it went straight in her head. I turned around to shoot anyone coming but they....disintegrated?

I calmed down a bit knowing there wasn't anymore left and looked at Ghost. "The Hive hasn't been on Earth in centuries. The darkness could be a lot closer than we think. We should probably get moving."

"Transmit to the ship, I can contact Zavala from here." I looked at my auto rifle and shook my head. I'm never going to be the same. Something about the Hive I know.
