Devil's Word Magic In Fairy Tail

The day after I had my little 'fight' with Gray, Ur and I talked about the whole plan of storming Area Fifty On-

I mean storming the Bureau of Magical Development!

Yeah that's what I meant…

Anyway! We decided we'd first sneak in and only then wreak havoc everywhere we go.

How would we sneak in? Well while I myself can do that easily with my magic.

I can't use it on Ur for the same purpose, so for that I designed the spell {Concealment Area}!

This spell makes a little sphere around me or an area of my choosing that completely conceals every piece of information that you would get from looking at it from the outside.

That means that if we move alongside it with Ur we'd be completely unnoticed as we went inside of the facility.

Pretty cool huh?

As for when we'll go, Ur said we should go blow them up after one month.

Apparently their leader is an incredibly strong mage so Ur wants us to destroy it while he is away.

Making sure we don't run into him is a good idea as she isn't confident in winning against him AND destroying the entire base.

According to her we can only do one and destroying his facility will deal a big blow to that man's plans. Whatever they may be, which is what we want since Ur isn't the type of person to go for blood…

(A/N: The leader of the Bureau of magical development is Brain/Zero from the Oración Seis if you didn't know or have forgotten. He creates different magic's there apparently or something.)

Most of our targets are people from there specifically anyway and they probably even live there.

For now we'll wait until he's gone and then we shall strike!

About a week later now I've got to know Ur, Gray, Lyon and Ultear pretty well.

Ur started teaching her daughter Ice maker magic along with Gray and Lyon so now she has three disciples.

Ultear proved to be a real talent as you'd expect from someone that suffered from a fever and became ill because of how much magic power they had.

She got even more Magic power from the experiments they did to her but not as much as in the original story as she never returned to complete the experiment.

More days passed and Gray doesn't hate me anymore, well at least not as much as in the beginning.

He challenged me a few more times after our first duel but they all ended mostly the same.

With a bunch of melted snow and ice…

At one point I decided I wouldn't use the 'Melt' spell against him and he got really mad saying I'm underestimating him or something and that I should be going all out.

I myself honestly thought I was cheating by rendering his magic useless actually…

Anyway In the end we still did it and he put up a better fight.

But he couldn't get past my defense combo of Mana Skin, Steel Skin, Barrier Layer and if I had to throw in another then it would be the normal Barrier spell that creates a wall…

Even if he could, if I wanted to he'd never hit me with anything…

In the end I gave him the ol' neck chop and he fell to the ground, not fainted but he just had massive pain in his neck…

I apologized later, but I admit I really wanted to try doing it! Guess I did it wrong or something? I dunno…

Poor Gray though I used him as a guinea pig!

About a week before our 'mission' Ur asked me to spar with her so she can see how good I actually am.

This was a great opportunity as I haven't fought anyone near my level since Zev, let alone above me.

"So Arthur, are you ready?" Ur asked me.

"Sure am! Let's get this started."

"3… 2… 1…" Lyon together with Ultear counted down for the beginning of our fight while gray just stood there and watched without his clothes on…

Hey, when did he even take them off?

"GO!" Lyon and Ultear gave the starting signal and I casted both {Teleport} and {Conceal Presence}.

"Where did he go?" Ultear asked as she was surprised that I just up and left.

"He must be scared of sensei!" Lyon was proud as if he'd scared me of himself! Even though I'm just tactically hiding myself before…

"Oh, there you are." Damn, never mind. Ur noticed me in the air flying with my {Wings} spell.

This spell creates two black wings on my back that are quite similar to the ones the Word Devil had.

"Hooooh? You actually managed to find me after I concealed myself? Amazing! Then how about this!? {Earth Spike}! {Thunder Strike}! {Spiral Flame}!"

I created 4 earth spikes around Ur and they all shot towards her.

At the same time a thunder strike went towards her and to seal the deal I had a spiral flame spell go in together with the thunder strike combing them into a spiraling thunder flame from hell!

What now Ur?

"{Ice Make: Ice Garden}! {Ice Make: Pillar}!" Ur quickly double cast and froze the entire ground stopping my earth spikes and at the same time making the ground full of ice that was shaped like roses.

Her pillar shot from under her and it was what she used as a stepping stone to launch herself away from the spinning electrical fire of doom I created and towards me!

"Hey that's actually really good! Now how about this? {Ice Make: Rose Spears}!"

Ur shot over a dozen Rose shaped spears towards me.

My {Melt} spell doesn't work on Ur's magic as she is far stronger than Gray and if I want to be able to melt it I'd have to use way too much Magic power…

"{Flame wall}!" That doesn't stop me from melting it in a different way though!

The rose spears hit the wall of fire that I created and disappeared, but so had Ur!

Where is she?! Damn it… {Detection}!

"Too late sweat heart! {Ice Make: Rose Cyclone}! " She actually got above me?! How?!

A rose shaped spiral was created and it slammed me into the ground. Because of my three protection spells I was mostly fine but it still hurt like hell…

"*cough* Nice one… {Heal}! But not good enough!"

"Ohhh As I thought you can even heal yourself with that magic of yours." Ur said as she landed on the ground.

"Wow! Ur sensei is amazing! I knew it wasn't a mistake to learn magic under her!" Lyon praised and was very excited to see Ur fight for the first time.

"How did you get above me?" I asked her.

"I double jumped." She replied

"…What?" okay now I'm even more confused…

"You double jumped?" I asked in order to confirm.

"Yep, off of an ice platform I made midair." Ur grinned at me.

Ho ho ho… not bad…

"Well then, let's try this again shall we!?"

"Fine by me Arthur. Come at me!"

"Nah I think I'll have you come at me!" I said.

"Huh? What do you mean…" she asked a little confused

"I've always wanted to try this one, but there was never anyone I needed to use it on! {Universal Pull}!" After I said the words Ur's body started to launch itself towards me.

"W-what?!" she yelled out in surprise!

"Hehehe! {Cruel Sun}!" A miniature sun appeared above my hand. It was about 1 meter in diameter and hot as hell!

Not as hot as the actual sun's surface but still a decent 1500-2000 or so degrees Celsius!

This is my strongest fire based spell! There's no way she can block this!

I threw it at Ur who was still a good 30 meters away from me and being pulled towards the ball of inferno!

"Now this is surprising! I accept your challenge Arthur!

{Ice Make: Rose Garden}!"

Ur shot out a wave of Roses that were so densely put together it was as if an avalanche of ice went towards the Cruel Sun

The two spells collided and canceled each other out leaving a bunch of steam in the air!

"Did I get her?" I muttered under my breath… That should have been enough right?

"{Ice Make: Rosen Krone}!" from the steam a bunch of Ice roses appeared and bound me rendering me immobile while also covering my mouth.

"MmMmMMmM!!" I can't speak! But wait that means…

"Well there you have it. You can't move anymore Arthy! Hehehe" Ur is mocking me… Who's Arthy?!

"Winner: Ur!!!" Lyon yelled at the top of his lungs and was very happy.

"You okay kiddo?" Ur asked me as she undid her Rosen Krone spell.

"Yeah… You're really strong Ur! Thank you for letting me experience this fight!"

"Do you know why you lost?"

"Because you covered my mouth rendering me unable to use magic perhaps?" I asked

"That too but there is also the fact that you're way too overconfident. When you used that Flame spell you thought you won didn't you?" She asked me.

"Well… I thought I at least had a pretty good shot at winning I guess?" Wrong, I actually did think I'd won...

"Of course! That spell was ridiculous… You actually melted my Rose Garden!"

Understandable reaction as that spell 'Rose Garden' can even bind Deliora and knock him off his feet… The guy is over a hundred meters tall by the way…

"But because you thought it was over you stopped using word spells and allowed me to bind your body and seal your mouth under the cover of the steam that was created from our two spells' collision."

"I see…"

"When you fight an opponent of equal or higher strength you need to always stay on your toes!

Never let your guard down and keep moving with a plan for the next step in mind!

That's the lesson you need to learn from this fight."

Ur went into full teacher mode.

"Thank you for your guidance!" I decided I'd play along and be the obedient student and bowed.

"Mhm, that's good! Okay now let's go eat lunch I'm starving after that little spar we had!" Ur turned to the other kids and said.

"Okay mom, I'll help you cook if you want!" Ultear said

"I can help out too!" Lyon said

"Just make sure it's not something spicy…" Gray said

"Sure, sure! Let's get going now." Ur said with a smile on her face.

"Ur Sensei! You were amazing there! I knew you were the greatest mage, even Arthur couldn't so much as scratch you with that overpowered magic of his! Hahaha!" Lyon's praises were endless honestly.

"Hahaha, I'm not actually that good Lyon. As I've said there are other stronger mages than me out there, you know? Even Arthur will surpass me in a few years" Ur said.

"I really doubt that…" He's in denial!

"Well why don't you ask Arthur? He's from a famous Guild in Fiore."

"Okay then… Arthur! Are there any mages stronger than Ur where you're from?"

"In fact yes, if Ur joined Fairy Tail she'd be the undisputed number three of the guild. Right behind The Master and Gildarts who is our Ace."

"W-what! I doubt your master or this Gildarts can beat her! Ur is the greatest!" Serious denial. Yep.

"Well Gramps is a wizard saint and can transform into a 100 meter tall giant so there's that. While Gildarts can destroy any magic he comes into contact with via his 'Crash' Magic that can destroy everything."

"Uhh but still…" He had no actual reply

"There is also some of the other Wizard saints like the top four, The Four Kings of Ishgar!

Even the weakest among them can create a tree branch that travels 2000 km in less than ten seconds!

While the strongest number one Wizard Saint can defeat all other nine by himself with ease."

"That's…" Lyon can't believe me it would seem.

"Ur Sensei! Is that really true?" He asked his teacher… Am I really that untrustworthy?

"It is. I don't know about the claim Arthur made about the number one Saint being that strong but they truly are monsters in human skin when it comes to magic." Ur replied.

"Wow…" Lyon is amazed! Sweet! Mission accomplished.

After we returned to Ur's house we had some dinner that Ur and the other two made, but then I brought something on the table from home with my {Storage} spell!

The spell keeps food warm since time doesn't pass inside of it.

It was a huge cooked pig I had bought before coming to the land of Isvan.

Needless to say the four of them were drooling at the sight!

I had given them other types of food before but never something this extravagant!

Heck the damn pig cost me 25,000 jewels… That's almost as much as my rent in my past apartment!

We talked as we had dinner and later on went to bed like every other day this past month.

In a few days me and Ur are going to sneak into the Bureau of Magical Development Institute and destroy it from the inside!

I can't wait for that! It's gonna be really fun…!
