Hi this is Prananjay. Due to personal commitments I will not be posting a chapter this Tuesday so instead I have posted it on Monday as a treat to my readers. There is no change in schedule for chapters updates and let me know what you think in the comments section.

Hello

Clark stood right above the sphere of the daily planet his arms crossed against each other. His ears made him turn his head before looking down.

" Look I might not be able to see you but I can definitely hear where you are. It has been going on for too long and I am sure that you know by now that I will not harm you and the same way I need to trust you too."

" I promise that I will not expose your identity can you believe me when I say that"

A cloud floated in the air he could see a shape forming against it. A ripple appeared and a man stepped out.

A human shape.

This was his first interaction with the guy who the Martians had called savior and one who had been nicknamed Shadow.

There wasn't much to identify as the being before him wore a full body suit with black facemask which rendered identification impossible.

As the two beings of unmeasurable strength stood facing each other.

Clark brought his right hand and held it out.

" Hello my name is Clark and I go by Superman and Kal El for those who do not know my secret identity"

"Hello… I.. am ... no … call me Sun"

" Sun that's a bit different from what you have been doing all these years. I am not reprimanding you but your attire and your actions have always been from shadows helping me and the Martians or even saving people and making them think it was either me or J'onn. I have to ask why?"

" Too dangerous. My actions as long as they help you all it shouldn't matter who does it."

" No that's not right. My attire personality and everything I do is so that I save people and look up to see a bright sky or future. I could have done what you did and still saved people but things that are unseen, intangible, unfathomable or can't be associated with are known to be dangerous. People fear what they can't see, hear or touch. The worst situation for me would be I reach out to help someone and they reject my help because they fear the unknown me more than a known threat"

" I understand"

" I hope you do. You saw the giant ship land on Earth and even helped me bring it down but when you saw it for the first time I heard your heartbeat speed up and it is still beating at that place. Is this ship dangerous?"

" Yes extremely."

" Alright what should we do ?"

" Push it back into space or dump it on another planet"

" Will that work effectively to eliminate the danger posed to us?"

" I'm not sure. But it is much better option than letting it sit on Earth"

" You are certain that whatever comes out is a danger to earthlings "

" Yes definitely"

"Okay I will contact J'onn and the others. The ship as we speak has been both impenetrable and unmovable as more and more time passes it is becoming more and more attached to the Earth and its weight is increasing at a frightening pace"

"We should not delay then let's do it now"

"Wait. It has landed on American soil and the American people should decide this"

" Tell them it's radioactive or it houses a cannibalistic alien species we can't allow it go get a hold on the planet"

" The people should know"

" We can tell them later "

A mental broadcast interrupted our discussion.

'Kal El can you hear me.'

' Yes. J'onn what happened?'

' the underside of the spaceship opened up and some kind of feral lizard like aliens are attacking us.'

' We have tried communicating but nothing is working on them they see us as meals I have confirmed their intentions through telepathy'

' Okay. I'm coming'

I looked at Sun who nodded back and we both shot off at the speed of sound.

As soon as we reached I could see them dripping saliva, large tripedal feet, sharp teeth with high degree of flexibility agility and speed. Their entire body was covered by a black chitinous armor which shrugged bullets and a long forehead which reflected the floodlights back blinding the humans and martians on site yet the Martians had protected the humans by holding them physically and making themselves transparent. I could see a single Martian holding a minimum 5 - 7 people through physical contact inside his or her transparency barrier.

As I observed the situation Sun had already dived in and killed one of them by doing a stomp and then before any fluids could splatter on him he had jumped far back as if it was acid.

I dived in and picked a large rock to cover the opening of the ship and tried to knock them out.

Sun shouted.

" Don't, this is species that is an extinction level threat we need to kill them all everything about them is dangerous and their bodily fluids are acidic "

I widened my eyes as red light covered my vision and it bounced off their reflective head.

" Cut off their limbs if you can."

I nodded and did so yet the second I actually did it. Their body parts grew back within seconds.

I could hear Sun grinding his teething.

I grabbed two of them and snapped their neck before proceeding to move on to the next two. Thankfully the entire area was cordoned off and as such I didn't see any one of them escaping.

It took us about 15 minutes before I couldn't see any more attacking us.

Sun's heart was hammering like a drum. He couldn't see his expression but he was sure it was of fear.

He could hear words leaking out of the suit.

Aliens

Wrong… so wrong

Bad

This should not be happening.

Why?

Whatever the reason was I was certain that Sun knew more about these beings and that we both needed to be on the same page.
