A moment of complacency almost caught me off guard. The suit's sudden beeping made me look up and my eyes widened within my suit.

The rockets which had earlier gone inside the Kryptonite cloud had exploded and suddenly robotic bees flew out of the cloud with stingers made of diamond and body covered by a layer of kryptonite dust.

As barely seconds passed there was a swarm of bees flying right behind me. I ducked weaved and dodged.

A dozen of them broke off and tried to intercept me from the side.

I slapped my palms together and a wave of sound and air exploded outwards scattering them but they reformed once again.

I went higher and higher when I had enough distance between me and them.

They didn't try to follow me up,instead began diving down.

"Bot, are they retreating?"

" Negative, based on their flight path and fuel their target has been reassigned."

" Who is the new target?"

" That's undetermined at this point the destination is Dodge City Stadium"

" Could the person who made this, could be recalling them back?"

" Negative, on a minor scan the bots do not have an off switch"

" Alright"

'the rocket bees were now going to attack civilians so that I can be placed in a vulnerable state'

" Analyze the bees do they a have explosives inside and can you take control of them"

" Positive, there are explosives on the bees, we are unable to hack it as the physical and wireless connection port has been deliberately damaged to prevent hacking mid mission."

" Shit" " Possible ways to unarm or destroy them ?"

" Physical, external damage is needed to destroy them"

" Okay"

' I spoke before an opening appeared in my finger and a laser ribbon shot out wrapping and crushing them while my body stayed at a distance to avoid direct damage'

" Warning light ribbon extreme damage sustained the user can no longer use this function"

As the ribbon shot back inside the suit and I was still flying behind.

" Deploy flares"

A compartment opened from my suit and about 1000 flares were shot in the swarm.

An light based electric surge exploded outwards making the majority of the swarm deactivate via explosion which blew me back by 6 feet before I caught up.

" The flare compartment is empty, the flare option is unavailable for use.

Please restock from the nearest drone pod station"

' This was ridiculous with every second more and more functions of my suitare being shut down permanently by this swarm.'

" The Stadium at a distance of 5 miles and the current quantity of the swarm is 20 individual bees"

" Good, any sign of reinforcements?"

" Negative, seven camouflaged drones that were recording have been hacked to provide misleading information along with a minor virus sent to the server to erase the collected data"

I flew faster and I could see 5 of them in my direct line of sight, the remaining had scattered all over the place some closer some far but all were going down.

As I went further down I could see the stadium there was no crowd and looked empty.

" Bot, the stadium looks empty, do you see any human heat signatures inside?"

" Affirmative, there are 25 ordinary human and 7 enhanced signatures also we have detected an esoteric markings with a few enhanced guarding each marking in groups of 2 the remaining one is standing in a middle chanting an obscure language"

" Are the ordinary humans there by their own will or have been coerced?"

" The 25 individuals show signs of malnutrition and hunger in their bios. Recommended action call emergency health services"

" Do it" I spoke as my eyes narrowed.

And in the next second I broke the sound barrier and grabbed every single bee and caught it in my palms no matter the distance.

Immediately diving down I swam under the stadium and rose up in the middle of the stadium the second I was out I began fl.i.c.k.i.n.g the bees which exploded on the markings causing the entire area under a concealed forcefield to ripple and unravel using the remaining 6 I tossed them at feet of the leader.

It was all done in a matter of seconds.

The leader in the middle had barely opened his mouth before blasting off the ground and into the air high enough for me to catch him by the front of his dark brown robes. His personal shield screeching as my palm grabbed his face and I squeezed driving him into the unconscious.
