Today was a memorable day.

I was annoyed that I was now certainly under the radar of the various enemies of Superman.

Lex Luthor was finally trying to put a bullet in me or a missile.

As I lay down on the surface of the moon sitting inside a crater my feet stretched out and my head resting on one of the edges.

I could not wonder but think how ineffective my fight against Luthor.

Since the day I arrived I have constantly and persistently been trying to reduce the influence of Luthor but it was all going down the drain since the very beginning whatever I did.

He managed to counter it or cut his losses very quickly and the most annoying thing of all was I could very well go there and kill him with little less effort than breaking a toothpick but the repercussions could very well crucify every superhuman on planet Earth.

Luther had contingencies and contingencies on contingencies.

For example when I drained his accounts in one particular country the government itself started printing money to fill the accounts or if an interview or expose happened on Luthor.

He would not even get a summon before it being dismissed in public interest the governments and the military everybody was protecting him.

Luther had his roots in every single country and every single nation his power was so diverse and so deep that in some places people were praising him like he was the second coming of God.

An issue of water bodies being polluted due to leakages from Luthor manufacturing factory government response conduct a massive clean up drive with the local bodies sponsored by Luthor company.

This latest attack on me by Luther had gone through minimum 26 wireless channels before being executed and some of it was even done physically even if I had proof I could not submit it anywhere or use it as people would not understand it and the governments would most likely bury it.

Over the years I have tried relentlessly to reduce his influence or even try to make him accountable for some scandal which he was involved with.

Even if I killed him afterwards the nuclear power plants in many different countries would explode simultaneously and I wasn't even sure that the person who I was killing was the real deal or not he had body doubles in the 10's and it was not like some people who you look similar to you he had people who went under the knife just look like Lex try to use the secretary Mercy but that too was useless as she was also was unaware that she was protecting a body double instead of the real deal.

Lex Luthor POV

" What do you mean that all the drones failed to record the alien?"

" Mr. Luther all the footage shows signs of tampering and is corrupted. Even the heat based footage shows massive discrepancies and cannot be used"

" This mission was meant to test this new alien and if possible capture. I had even accounted for Superman interfering in the middle I even had three dams broken so that Superman would be engaged and yet not only being unable to capture with a 99.4 possibility of capture you couldn't even get me a sample of blood or tissue"

" The suit of the subject is very well protected by analysing the data from the spies on the ground the explosives did little damage"

" What about the algorithm I told you to use?"

" We used it since it was originally created for Superman we calculated the deviation of 10% yet it failed"

" What was the cause and what inferences have you made?"

" Unlike Superman the subject didn't act in a similar pattern nor did the subject attempt to negotiate or pause between movements. Every action was done with maximum efficiency with little regard to surroundings, also we are sure that the subject has someone with exceptional hacking skills under his employ as within seconds of the operation we were constantly being attacked virtually by all viruses, trojans, malware etc which belonged to different programming languages"

" What is your advice then Dr?"

" This new alien is too different and we need more information our earlier assumption of subject being Kryptonian might not be true"

" Hmm, what about the charlatan you hired?"

" Currently he is in Metropolis state prison. As of this moment he hasn't been questioned by anyone due to anonymity we maintained he will not be useful to the authorities, do we need to rescue him?"

" No get rid of him last time I saw Superman getting injured against a magic user and I foolishly thought they could be relied upon. Unless vetted do not bring in any more of such idiots in my presence"
