"CLEANSE!'

The heavenly energy spread outward like a blast, most of the gloomy energies in the southern part of the city were gone. But, it seems that Mubai was yet strong enough to wield the full power of his martial spirit. Mubai was wondering, what will the result be if he used his Immortal physique power along with his martial spirit power.

'That might worth a shot...'

As Mubai was pondering, he felt something powerful was rushing toward him, he felt it was like a bundle of highly concentrated of earlier gloomy energies.

'Maybe 'it' was the one that Grand Elder Lei was told me about. The General?'

"Oh no! The reptile-head is coming, run brat!" Tie Leimang was alerted when he felt Bune was rushing toward them, he won't be this worried if he was alone, but the second prince was here and he didn't want to risk his safety! He threw anything else out of his mind and hastily grabbed Mubai and readily escape. As he was about to run with Mubai, a hand was holding him, it was Mubai's.

"No need to run Grand Elder Lei, Let me face him!" Mubai said with conviction, a confident smile could be seen on him.

Seeing him like this, Tie Leimang was frustrated and frowned, because as they were conversing, he knew that Bune already locked their presence and now unless he throws cautions out of the window and ran far away out of Bune's range of detection, this foe will never stop chasing them.

"Oh God, a newborn calf really is not afraid of Tiger..." Tie Leimang was sighing deeply, the young are really rash ah!

Sensing that Bune was getting closer, Tie Leimang's frown was eased when he also sensed his fellow grand elder was hot on Bune's tail to chase him. Fu Xinglan, a.k.a Grand Elder Lan was rushing to catch up with Bune, although he wasn't slow in the least, he also was not faster than Bune by any means.

Sensing each other presence, Fu Xinglan and Tie Leimang were immediately coordinating, with chemistry built over the years it was an easy thing for them to came up with an impromptu plan and understanding each other thoughts in battle without any form of contact at all.

Worried about Mubai's safety, Tie Leimang immediately charged straight at Bune with tens of sphere of lights flying around him that he occasionally fired towards Bune. Although Mubai was confident, Tie Leimang still believed that his second prince has overestimated himself. After all, it was like a mantis trying to stop a chariot!

Synchronized with Tie Leimang was Fu Xinglan, he made a few ice spikes while he too rushed to catch up with Bune and launched the spikes to attack Bune from behind.

Bune sensed that an attack would hit him, he was not that daring to receive the attack from Fu Xinglan head-on without properly defended himself. Receiving an attack from Tie Leimang was fine because Tie Leimang was not a heavy hitter, and the damage he received was like a massage. But not Fu Xinglan's attack, he was a heavy hitter at the same level as him, and he packed quite a punch.

Bune tried to dodged Tie Leimang's attack, but he only able to dodged few of them while the rest manage to hit him and slowed him down.

Bune, Fu Xinglan, and Tie Leimang were entangled in a stalemate with Bune being passive most of the time and slowly fell into a disadvantage.

Meanwhile, Mubai's eyes were twitched and he was growled, he took a deep breath and calmed his emotions. Inside him, the Divine tiger martial spirit was flashed with hate and anger.

To dare to ignore me like this, YOU ARE FVCKING COURTING DEATH!

Mubai's martial spirit was now connected to him in the most basic level existence, it was not wrong to say the Divine Tiger was him, and he was the Divine Tiger, they were one entity that cannot be separated.

In this state, his prowess was multiplied by several-fold. But, it too amplified his emotions by the same amount. Usually, Mubai would only be annoyed but will keep it for himself, from the scale one to a hundred, his annoyance would be twenty at best. But what if the twenty was multiplied by five? or even ten? That annoyance will be turned into anger, then rage.

This was outside of his expectations. But it's not an unwelcome surprise, at least he was still retaining his reasoning.

Inside him, the Divine tiger was roaring so loud that Mubai's body shook. The spirit ring that hovering behind him was getting brighter and brighter, like a sun that slowly rising at the dawn.

Mubai's power spirit rank didn't rise, but more of the Divine tiger's might were accessible for him. Mubai's innate arrogance was screaming, primal and unfiltered rage rose in him.

How dare they... How dare these... these old mongrels...

How dare these old mongrels to ignore him?!

He was Li Baixi and Dai Mubai!

Mubai's silvery-golden eyes sharpened and his breathing became sharp. The Divine Tiger continued to roar wildly inside him, it felt Mubai's wrath and it too was angry!

'These sons of bitches, did you think that just because you're older, you're allowed to ignore me?!'

He was always a proud person at heart, if not for his slightly deformed vein in the 'past life', his pride would be higher than the sky itself. But now, not only he was completely alright, he even has had great a boon from the start, and not even once met a significant setback. Now, not even the highest heaven would be able to contain his immense pride.

Mubai decided that he will not stand by idly, Instead, he walked to approach them as he watched three of the top entities in this world aiming for each other's throat. Their strike was earth-shattering and able to level the town in a single hit if they wanted to do so, but if they do that, the enemies would have a chance to separate their heads from their bodies. Thus, they controlled themselves and more focused on control and effectiveness instead of just raw power.

He released the might of his immortal physique, every step he took was like a heavy stomp from a colossal beast, waves of forces reverberating from the soles of his feet and crushed the land before him. It felt like a primal giant was out taking to exercise over mountains and valleys.

The physical and spiritual pressure from Mubai's presence began to climax.

His eyes narrowed into slits and his lips flattened into an unamused expression. His white straight-hair began to move and shifted on his own as if a strong breeze was flowing around him.

His silvery-golden eyes were reddened until they were almost turned into a rose-gold. His skin twisted as his fingers bent back, highlighting his sharp claws.

Shockwaves erupted from Mubai's body, making the ground shook shakily. His white hair billowed about crazily as a dark golden light surrounded his body.

When the term 'heavenly energy' used before, it had always referred to an intangible thing that was only at heavy air density at best. However, now heavenly energies were manifested around Mubai into a form of a corporeal Tiger figure. It covered Mubai just like armor would covering a knight.

Enough of this bullshit!

Enough of these theatrics!

This charade will end!

I am the one in charge!

Mubai was furious, his pride was challenged! With his current prowess, maybe Tie Leimang was right. It was like a mantis trying to stop a chariot. But, the question is... Which one of them is the Mantis?
