Dragon Ball Z: Flame Demon Rudra

Rudra was travelling towards the South Galaxy. On his way, he was thinking about a way through which he could make some money. Currently, he was completely broke. The only viable option for him is to join the Galactic Patrol. This will allow him not only to earn money, but also to obtain necessary information about the South Galaxy.

The Galactic Patrol also known as the Space Police and the Galaxy Police is a cosmic police force that is led directly by the Galactic King and helps keep order throughout the Milky Way Galaxy. The Galactic King has a light-green octopus-like appearance, with a large head and numerous tentacles. He wears a golden crown with the Galactic Patrol insignia on its front.

Rudra knows that the Galactic Patrol is more active in the South Galaxy. They have a wide array of information gathering system which gathers information from even the corners of the universe. Rudra first needs to understand the current situation of the South Galaxy. So, joining the Galactic Patrol was a no brainer.

He has been travelling for the past 2 years. During these 2 years, he trained diligently without slacking off. But he felt himself in a bottleneck, he didn't know how to breakthrough to the second level. There seems to be something blocking his breakthrough. He was anxious to reach the second level, as it would increase his strength by a huge margin.

But no matter, how much he tried he couldn't breakthrough. He was in a dilemma. He shook his head and sighed bitterly. It seems like, it would take some time before he broke through to the second level. He decided to think about this later as he could see a large Space Station in front of him. The space station belongs to Galactic Patrol. They have a wide variety of sh.i.p.s and other latest weapons within their Space Station.

Once Rudra rises in his ranks, he would be given better sh.i.p.s and weapons. Rudra was about to reach the Space Station, when his Space Ship's communication channel picked up an incoming call. Rudra knows that this is their security protocol of the Galactic Patrol. Thus, he accepted the call without any hesitation. They asked for the very basic details. Once he gave the necessary information, his space ship was allowed to pass through the force field and land on the Space Station.

After deboarding, Rudra asked around and went to the area where they recruit soldiers of the Galactic Patrol. There was a huge information screen present outside the recruitment room. It had information about various battle power levels needed for the corresponding posts. The information are as follows,

100 – 1000 – Tier 1 soldier

1000 – 10,000 – Tier 2 soldier

10,000 – 1,00,000 – Elite Soldier

1,00,000 – 1,000,000 – Captain

Above one million power level you'll become a General.

Rudra decided to become a special captain. The Special Captain requires the applicant to have power level more than that of a captain. In general, the Special Captains are General level powerhouses who doesn't want a team under them. These people are lone wolfs who take care of special missions singlehandedly.

This is exactly what Rudra wanted. He didn't want to start of as a soldier and grow. He needs to have a certain level of power in the Galactic Patrol, so that he could gain access to confidential information that required higher authority.

After deciding, he entered the recruitment room. There was a green human like alien inside the room who was overseeing the recruitment process. The alien was sitting behind an instrument which measures the battle power of the applicants.

Soon, it was Rudra's chance. He went towards the measuring instrument. He didn't even have time to increase his energy when the machine responded in a monotonous voice.

"Battle Power: 10"

The alien who was overseeing the selection sneered and said in disdain, "Who are you trash? How dare you apply for Galactic Patrol with your power level. Guards, come here and throw this trash outside."

Rudra was totally angered, he looked coldly towards the overseer and released his power. Soon, the entire area was filled with an overwhelming force. The examiner and the applicants found it difficult to even breath under the pressure. Soon, the machine responded again in the same tone

"Battle Power: 1.5 million"

Even though Rudra was totally incensed, he still controlled himself. Rudra's power level has already crossed 95 million. He didn't want to attract any unnecessary attention towards him and thus decided to show 1.5 million. If he shows his actual power level, it would cause a huge commotion. Thus, he decided against it.

The examiner was shocked senseless by the sudden turn of events. 'You stupid machine, couldn't you have shown his actual power level. Now am in for huge trouble' he thought to himself. He repeatedly begged for Rudra's forgiveness. Rudra too forgave him as he didn't want to be tangled with such petty problems.

Soon, Rudra was taken to the second level of recruitment process. There, he was given the position of the General. But Rudra, didn't accept it and asked for the position of Special Captain. After which, they asked the information about Rudra. Rudra didn't say his race as Flame Demon, and just said that he is from the human race. He didn't know if there are spies inside the Galactic Patrol.

He was naturally doubtful, as even his own planet had spies from King Cold. They were the ones who informed King Cold of Rudra's predecessor and his talent. Rudra didn't have enough trust to give away his real information, except his name.

After this, he was given the ID of a Special Captain. He was naturally not excited; the Galactic Patrol didn't have the ability to oppose the Frieza forces. They just go after low level criminals in the universe. The only reason Rudra joined them is because of the various advantages he gets. Rudra was given an option to choose a new Space Ship. It was lot better than the previous one. After his requests, the Space Ship now had a gravity training room. It was a state-of-the-art gravity chamber, which had an upper limit of 10,000.

Next step is the uniform, Rudra asked for a red uniform with white armor plates in c.h.e.s.t, legs, forearms and shoulders. He also got a control system. It had a built in AI system which controls his ship. Rudra was fascinated by it and changed the name of the AI to Jarvis (Tribute to Iron Man).

Now, Rudra had become a full-fledged Galactic Special Captain.
