Dragon Ball Z: Flame Demon Rudra

After completing the registration process, Rudra was provided with a permanent room in the Space Station. He would be using this room whenever he visited the Galactic Patrol. Only the Captain and General level powerhouses are provided with such privileges.

Rudra had a satisfying meal and was currently resting within his room. He removed all the thoughts from his mind and slept peacefully for a whole day.

The next day, he was going through the information available in the Galactic Patrol data bank. He needed to understand the current situation of the South Galaxy. He needs to know who the major villains in this part of the galaxy are.

He had been browsing through the contents for half a day. He now had a clear idea about the situation of the South Galaxy. His initial thoughts were right on point, the Galactic Patrol is more active in this part of the Galaxy. The villains are also cannot be compared to that of Frieza or King Cold.

He knew that he needed to select a mission, so that he could gain some money. He soon selected the mission section in the database and was going through the list of missions available. The mission list was split into different sections based on their rank. The higher-ranking missions can only be accepted by Captain and General level powerhouses.

Even among the higher-ranking missions there were different classifications based on the power level. There were missions that needed a team to complete. There were also missions which would take at least a year to complete.

After going through the list, Rudra was able to filter it down to three missions. These three were higher ranking missions that could be completed within a shorter period and he doesn't need to have a team for the mission.

The 1st mission was a reconnaissance mission. There appears to be some anomaly happening in a planet called as Vajra. It is a planet filled with low level warriors. There seemed to be some problem within the core of the planet.

The second one was a retrieval mission. They had to obtain something from the opposite party and bring it to the Galactic Patrol. There are chances of space pirates attacking along the way. Thus, they wanted to send a General level powerhouse to bring the object.

The third mission is to apprehend an escaped convict. He had escaped more than a two year ago. The convict is a mass murderer called as Jade. He's a total psycho who kills people for fun. More than a 100 Planets people were massacred by him. A huge team of top-level generals were responsible for capturing him initially. But along the way, he escaped the capture and there was no new about him. But six months before a new planet has been wiped away clean by him. Several teams were sent after him, but none came back. Based on the message they had received back his power level was around the same level as Rudra.

Rudra decided to take this mission. He never had a chance to fight someone to his hearts content after transmigrating to Dragon ball multiverse. He was sure that the upcoming fight would be enough to satisfy him. A battle intent rose in his heart. He decided to leave after a week.

The week was spent on collecting the information about Jade. From the information he received Jade appeared to a strong fighter who had a wide array of techniques. Those techniques were all stolen from the race whom he massacred. He was an unpredictable fighter. Rudra was sure that it would be a challenging fight. He wanted to be in his optimum condition before fighting.

After a week, Rudra started his travel to the last known location of Jade. Rudra will start from there and investigate the current location of his opponent. It would take him 2 months to reach his destination. He decided to train till he reached the location.

He had a specially designed training room within the space ship. This was the first time he's using the Gravity chamber. He started of with 50 times the normal gravity. He didn't feel strained due to the gravity and thus increased it to 100.

He felt slight pressure due to the gravity. He decided to train under this gravity for the time being. He tried out different stances which would help him strengthen his body. He was sweating profusely by the time he finished the exercise. He had a light meal and again continued with the training.

He did warmup and again started his core strengthening moves. After that he started trying off various moves. He fired off some energy balls and received his attack with his b.a.r.e body.

After completing his exercises, he sat cross-legged and started to cultivate the Divine Dragon's breath technique. He slowly began to float upwards as he continued with his cultivation.

This became his daily routine. He didn't increase the gravity in the chamber and set it to 100. He was currently 175 cm and had a lot more room to grow. Thus, he didn't want to end up stunting his growth by straining his body too much under the gravity.

He was continuously cultivating and training, only stopping in between for sleeping and eating food. He never grew tired of training, even in his previous life Rudra was a hard worker. He was genius who worked harder than normal people. This was the reason he became the top martial artist of his generation. This was one of most differentiating factors between Rudra and his peers.

Only Goku and Vegeta could be compared to Rudra. These three were training junkies who never grows tired of training. This was also the reason they could break their limit continuously. Natural talent definitely plays an important part, but if you do not spend time training and honing your skills, your talent will become useless no matter how high it is.

Thus, Rudra continued on with his training. It soon became 2 months and Rudra was about to reach his destination. He wore his uniform from the Galactic Patrol and was soon ready for the task.

The Space Ship soon landed in a desolate Planet. This was the location from where the last team came to apprehend Jade responded. Thus, Rudra naturally decided to start from here.

He deboarded the ship and looked around. The whole planet had a desolate atmosphere surrounding it. He didn't know why but he felt anxiousness in him. This was the intuition of an expert. He was now pretty sure that this fight would be a quite dangerous and challenging.
