Dream Life

Outside Episode II:

Tria history May 26, 2027.

The day after Luna and the others returned to the village. The training ground is busy this morning.

Theo and Serra are in a mock fight with their grandfather, Govan, while the Lockhart family and ministers watch.

My grandfather rode a level 90 grand platform in a death fight with Dragon Tooth Soldiers, and he's over seventy years old but he can't see any decay.

Theo and Serra both raised their arms to level 58, thanks to Gideon Dyer's rigorous mentoring of Kensei (Swordmaster) and his real-life experience in Sokius.

Even if I look at level 69, I don't think I was 20 years old.

The simulation is played two-on-one, but the twins' brothers and sisters are worn out.

"I thought we could fight a little now, but not yet."

That's what I'm saying, but my grandfather's breath is rough, and he doesn't seem to be able to afford as much as words.

"You can still do it!" and Theo, who had been blown away and had fallen, stood up and broken his arm bones. Serra, who was being treated by Liddy, also said, "I'm still fine too!" and take the wooden sword.

He then went on to do more than enough simulation and ended where the two passed out.

"I almost got a bottle."

The more my grandfather said that, the two arms were up.

Next to the training ground, Luna was releasing an arrow with the archers. The speed and accuracy of the arrows were out of step, although it remained a beautiful work of the same bow as before.

"Looks like you got your arms up a lot."

"I'm no match for Serra and the others, but I don't think I'll work hard either..."

"How much is the level now? What?

Demon Archer Level 37.

"You're a magic archer... So, what about the magic one?

"The dark attributes are up to forty-four. You have forty-two water attributes and the others feel a little lower. I know dark attributes are easy to ascend with the protection of the Dark God (Noctis), but I think water attributes are due to the magic of detoxification. I spent a lot of time with Ryan and Ray."

That's what I say. Pelo and tongue out.

He's been able to use magic since he got away from me, but in that short period of time, he's gone up to the level of court magician-like. You must have made considerable efforts, even with the blessing of God.

After morning training and breakfast, Luna came to the detachment where we live. Behind her were Ryan and Ione and even Theo.

The weather is nice, so I'll show you to the terrace, not the living room. There Liddy and the others were already waiting.

"Serra said she'd have her uncle put on an archery?

"I'm worried about you, too, but I thought Luna's story was more important..."

Theo is going with Luna to Ars, king capital of the Kingdom of Kaum. They say the reason is because they want to have a good look at big politicians like Queen Katrina.

"... because until now I've only seen“ Mr. Kati ”. When it comes to politicians enough for Brother Zach to be vigilant, besides Lord Ezarrington of the Empire and Mr. Worgman of the Sorcerer's Guild, there is only about Queen Katrina. I was wondering if it would be a good experience if I could negotiate with one of them."

Ahead, he wants to go to Wellburn, where the Northern Governor's Office is located, and gain some experience because he intends to be an escort and advisor to Francis, the grandson of the Raswell Border Bo family.

Finish your conversation with Theo and get down to business.

"What I'd like to talk to you about is how do we get a country called Sochius to be recognized as the Kingdom of Kaum or Queen Katrina?

"Yes, I don't know what to do... I thought Zach and Sharon would..."

"Okay. By the way, there's a way we're going to Ars."

If I or Sharon go, even the queen can talk in her favor. There is also influence over the Blacksmith Guild, but if you threaten not to cooperate in liquor making, the Kingdom of Kaum will have to admit my claim. Of course, I'm not going to do that.

"I think this is something I have to do. Therefore, we do not consider you to enter into negotiations"

"Are you sure that's all right? When I think about the people of Sochius, I don't think it's a good idea to be bound by menthes and pride."

"There is no pride to protect me," he laughs, but immediately returns to a serious look,

"If I threw a round at Mr. Zach here, I'd feel much sweeter from now on. Besides, the Sochius people entrusted me with the future. It is my duty to respond to that. We'll do everything we can first, and if it really didn't work, we could use both of you."

I'm relieved by what I'm thinking properly.

"That's fine," he nodded.

"We need to hear what you want to do with a country called Sokius before we go into consultation. Tell me from there."

Luna assumed she would be asked, and when she nodded cocklessly, she began to look me closely in the eye and talk.

"I believe it is important first of all to make the Kingdom of Kaum recognise Sochius as a nation. If you are not recognized as a country, you cannot enter into treaties or agreements."

"You sure do. But there's a lot going on when it comes to the state. There are authoritarian, democratic and religious states on this continent alone. What kind of country is Sokius going for?

"Ultimately, it's a democracy. But I know that it is not possible in the present circumstances, and if we are to negotiate with Mr Kati, I do not believe that it is necessary for me to be a recognised political form of Head of State. So now I'm trying to negotiate with a religious state that culminates in the Son of the Moon, the manifestation of the Dark God (Noctis)."

I can't hide my surprise in Luna's words. I have no image of claiming this more clearly in my impression, and I never thought that my thoughts were so clearly put together.

"You're thinking about it. I've reviewed it."

When I say that, I shake my head small and sideways.

"I've been discussing this with Ray all along the way here. He's a lot more knowledgeable than I am, so he's pretty much his recipient."

"Ray Arklight... sounds like the same Japanese as us."

We know from information from the gods that Arklite is Japanese.

"He was my classmate. When I was in Japan, my name was Holy Grace. He said he came to this world before he graduated from high school and went to college."

"So you're eighteen... you're younger than I thought"

The image of Arklight is a wise man based on flexible ideas and wealth of knowledge. It did seem like it was inexperienced and at stake, but I felt more than that the insight supported by knowledge was amazing.

I'm surprised that was Luna and her classmates, or high school students.

"Right. Because Ray, unlike me, was an honor student who liked to read."

That's what I say and laugh at.

No one is surprised to talk about this. The Liddies deserve it because I'm talking, but I hear Luna's talking to Ryan and Ione.

Also, Theo, but I told him about my secret last night. Because I thought you should know as part of the Lockhart family.

I was surprised when I heard the story, but was immediately convinced that "I thought there was something".

"Back to you, I hope you're meeting Queen Katrina as Sochius' representative, son of the moon."

"Yes."

"I understood that the purpose for now was to make them recognise themselves as a nation. So what exactly do you want to get out of the negotiations eventually? If the profits from the negotiations are unclear, the other person is Kati Sork. You're gonna get hit by Cotempan."

"I've decided that too. What we want to gain from the negotiations is a permanent peace with the Kingdom of Kaum. We believe that that state of affairs needs to be resolved because the current situation is only a state of truce. It would be great if we could reach a peace treaty, but we believe that we can just reach a formal ceasefire agreement"

So Sharon joined the conversation.

"Luna and I are the only ones who recognize that the current state is truce. Beginning with the Kingdom of Kaum, the nations of the West do not recognize the Sochius or the Demon Nation as a nation. I think we should consider it a level of awareness for them that is preventing demonic raids."

"But it should have been the realization that the Demons are the greatest hostile force to the countries of the West. Once that force has peace negotiations, can we reach a truce or so?"

I'll argue on Sharon's behalf.

"That's not true. It is the ghosts and the demons they serve that strike from eternal darkness (Kwaedam Tenebre) for the western nation, not a country called Sokius. In fact, even if the Sochius warriors are captured, they are not at all thought to be negotiable because they choose to die themselves"

Ghosts are famous for not speaking any information when they are taken prisoner. He has no access to information at all and is treated more secretly than the state, as he provokes where he is about to crack his mouth even when tortured.

"That's true," Luna agrees,

"But not now. And Kati also tells me that I am the son of the moon and that there is a country called Sokius, so at least the Kingdom of Kaum should be aware of it."

"That's not the same"

"What do you mean?

"You may not understand, but you should think that Mr. Kati and Queen Katrina are different people, even if they are the same person. When he stands as queen, he takes precedence over the kingdom's interests. Unless you were officially heard as queen, but you're not. Because it's unlikely that we'll ever change our official views."

Luna is stunned by my words.

"But......" but the words don't go on.

Sharon opens his mouth again.

"When dealing with politicians, we need to understand exactly what the real deal is and what pre-construction is. If I'm going to stand around to my advantage, I'm going to say something different than what I really mean."

"The real deal and pre-construction...... do I have to do that too? If so, I can't..."

"You don't have to. But it's important that old politicians understand that smoke is the usual way to avoid being taken for granted."

Luna nods small but seems worried about what to do.

"Theo, what would you do?

Luna starts to worry, so she talks to Theo.

"It's me!

"That's right. You're going to be at the negotiating table with Queen Katrina. Then you're one of the parties."

"Right......" and after a few thoughts,

"I would move a blacksmith's guild."

"Do you involve Dwarves in politics?

"No, Brother Zach is going to propose something."

"What do you mean, Theo?" Luna asks.

"I've only been in Sochius for about six months, but it's a pretty rich country, isn't it?"

"Yeah, there's a lot of demons, but the land is huge and it's a country that wouldn't have to attack the West if it were supposed to. Besides, the desperate wilderness (Desperationis) is no longer influenced by Vanitas, so we'll be able to develop it... what does that have to do with it?

I somehow figured out what Theo was trying to say. Sharon is the same and smiling quietly.

"There was quite a bit of cereal alcohol, wasn't there? What do you think would happen if I turned that thing into distillation?

That's where Luna seemed to find out what Theo was trying to say.

"I want to make alcohol for you Dwarves. You complain that you need to open national transportation for that. Suggest that to Mr. Ulrich and the others at General Headquarters before that, and we'll pass it on to Mr. Kati. Then if we move on to the" Queen Katrina ”and distilled liquor deal, we can't say" no ”as the Kaum kingdom. That's what I'm saying."

Theo nods loudly.

"Mr. Kati is unaware of the situation in Sokius. I think we just have to stick it in there. If it is possible to make a huge amount of distilled liquor, it can eliminate the current shortage of supply. Besides, only the Kingdom of Kaum is directly connected to Sokius. I mean, it's not impossible to import exclusively either. I think there's a chance that if you think so, you'll make a concession because the kingdom has a benefit too."

Theo was thinking more than he thought. It's a maneuver that worries you about how much you should give in by limiting this information while making them think it's in their interest.

More than that, the point is to use "booze” against Queen Katrina as a negotiating tool. I said earlier that Queen Katrina and Mr. Kati should consider themselves separate, but they are actually the same person. When entering and leaving the Blacksmith Guild as Kati, I would feel uncomfortable in the Guild if I were known to have been able to rub it with alcohol stories.

"That could be a good idea. In fact, we intend to talk about the distillery to Mr. Ulrich..."

So Luna turned her gaze to me.

"Doesn't Mr. Zach want to see Sokius?

That's what I say and laugh at Nicole.

I guess you're going to make what I'm interested in a negotiation story.

"Of course I do. The ghost tribe also cares, but there is no end to interest in what kind of race the demon tribe is more than that and what the magic of summons is. And I'm worried about the cereal liquor that the ghosts make."

"Would you like to see the taste of that alcohol?

"Do you have one!

"Yes. I brought it as a souvenir for Mr. Zach, so I was going to give it to him after the consultation."

That being said, a simple pot of pottery was removed from the storage magic (inventory).

Soon Mel will have the glass ready.

When Luna removed the plug made of wood, it smelled slightly sweet like sweet liquor. Poured into a glass, it was cloudy and thicker than cloudy liquor.

A further hemp bag was removed about twenty centimeters from the inventory.

"The ingredient is this rice," he says, opening the bag and showing it.

Close to the long-grain Indica species, not the short-grained Japonica species.

"They also eat rice, but they mostly make it alcoholic"

Listening to Luna, I take the glass.

The fragrance has a strong acidity and no refined sake atmosphere at all. When I apply it to my mouth, I feel sweet and sour, but in degrees I get the feeling that it has not been fermented to a slightly stronger degree than beer.

"That's a long time," I said, and Luna nodded, "I knew you were," too.

"I wondered if it felt like it was close to being in a book or a movie, but when I was in Japan, I wasn't even interested, so I wasn't sure if it really was."

"It's not a very good drink, but distilling this guy can make rice shochu. I didn't like shochu so it would be delicious, but at least it would definitely be a unique drink that wasn't made on the west side."

"Can I tell you what I'm talking about now, Mr. Katie? I think it'll be a good bargaining story."

"I don't mind. Just be careful when you talk to the Ulrich. If we can get new booze, there's no chance of a rampage."

"That's true. Woof...... but now I'm starting to feel like we can at least get to the negotiating table. I think all we have to do is negotiate tenaciously."

"And Theo's starting to think a lot about it."

"Brother Zach taught me how to guide them."

"Did I tell you that?

"Yes. When you have your sword arched," if you make your opponent's movements suit your convenience, even your opponent may be able to take one. ”It's an application."

I do think I said that, but I admire the flexible brains that I can apply it to.

"Thank you for taking the time to talk to me. It's time for the Rays to come. I'll go get ready to pick you up."

That's what Luna stood up for.
