Dream Life

Outside Episode III:

After 10 a.m. on May 26.

Yesterday, the Lunas returned to the village of Rasmore. Luna had grown a lot since the last time we met. So much so that I had come earlier as a representative of Sochius to consult with Queen Katrina of the Kingdom of Kaum.

My brother Theophilus came up with a good idea at that consultation. It's about using alcohol to negotiate with the queen.

In the middle of that story, he showed me the much like liquor and long-grain rice that Luna had brought home from Sochius. It is subtle whether it can be made into sake without looking at the manufacturing process, but it is likely that it can be made into rice shochu. New distilled liquor leaves the Dwarves either running wild or anxious.

By the time the ten o'clock bell rings, news enters that a group of about three hundred people have entered the village from the watchtower.

In order to prevent confusion, it has been told throughout the village yesterday that there are Humane Horse tribes and Luke's Beast Troops, and the villagers are ready to welcome them in a general outing.

He seems to be from our village, a Humane Horse tribe, but a Beastman unit from the rival Luke, but no one has questioned what was ordained in his father's name, and there has been no confusion at all.

When the welcoming voice began to be heard in Kanga Hill, we saw a group moving slowly.

Using the telescope, at its head were Hamish Markat, the leader of the Mercenary Corps of Markat (Red Arms), who had previously met in Ars, king capital of the Kingdom of Kaum, and an arc-light figure wearing the armor of a white saint knight.

In front of the castle, the Lockhart family and all major ministers wait dressed in formal attire.

If the high nobility of the Empire or the royalty of the Kaum kingdom is the opponent, I can tell, but it is unlikely that the Imperial nobility will welcome the mercenary regiment and nomads of another country in their formal attire.

This time, however, I paid tribute for being a group that won the battle for the survival of the world, and for helping Luna, my family.

A standing young man like the Holy Knight descends from a silver frogman horse, followed by a large female warrior and a silver-haired Beastman light warrior. More Hamish and Red Arms mercenaries lined up with Humans and nomadic warriors.

"My daughter, I sincerely thank you for helping Luna"

That's what my father Masaias says and bows his head. Along with that, we bowed our heads the same way.

Arklight comes forward with that word. Behind it was the figure of a warrior of the Beast guarding his surroundings without alarm. Looks like the famous Luke's Beastman Slave Squad.

"My name is Ray Arklight. Thank you to the Lockhart family for your help."

I admire the way you speak in nature.

(Quite in the hall. That's just what they used to call “White Army Master"...)

My father responds to that mouth.

"We welcome you all. As I'm sure you've already heard from Theophilus, our family doesn't like tough etiquette. From here on out, we fight the same enemies, so let's go to war with each other."

The words make everyone smile. No one likes aristocratic etiquette on this occasion.

Arklight exchanges words with his father, and furthermore greets his grandfather and brother. I don't feel nervous, I get the impression that I'm a good young man.

(I'm talking about Luna's classmates, but you have a lot of nerve. I just heard rumors, he gave his opinion to the King of Lax, and maybe the anxiety of being Luna's home as an ally...)

I watched it that way, but there are Hamish Markat, who I know, and Gius Salinas, head of the Sorel warrior of the Humane Horse tribe, who will exchange words with them.

"My sister took care of me," he said, bowing his head to Hamish.

"No, I took better care of this one. I can only thank you for all your preparation. Besides, Theo got a lot of help. Thanks to him, I could never rub it in vain with the Empire, and I could end the war safely."

After a conversation with Hamish, he also tells Gius to thank him, and on the contrary, he says thank you.

"This is the one I appreciate. He led us to the King of Waiting."

For two thousand years the people of the meadows kept waiting for their king according to the word of God. Even if I didn't turn my hand, the gods would have guided me, but Gius thinks that Arklight visited the meadow because I adjusted.

Talking like that, Arklight came before me.

"I'm Ray Arklight. Rumors have come from Luna, Theo and Dwarves, so I don't feel like we've met for the first time."

That's what I've been offering my right hand. Respond to greetings as you take that hand.

"I'm Zacharias Lockhart. Thank you so much for helping Luna."

"Have you heard about me from Luna, Mr. Moon Palace?," he asked in a whisper.

"I'm listening"

"If possible, I'd like to have some time somewhere," he said.

"Of course it is. He wanted to talk to me."

I agree immediately because I felt the same way about this one.

We'll be greeting each other like that, but we have a lot to do because we just arrived.

We have to accommodate the horses first. Take him to the stable next to the castle and to the meadows of the north, as there is no place in Kanga Hill to house nearly two hundred and fifty frog horses.

Plus I had a welcome feast to prepare.

Nearly three hundred people, and there are more humans and horses, so there can be no feast in the castle. There is nothing we cannot do if we narrow it down to only the key members, but we all think it would be better together, and we decide to do it in the meadows south of Kanga Hill, which is also the venue for the Dwarf Festival.

Major members of the Mercenary Corps (Red Arms) and the Beast Troops will be accommodated in the castle, but the majority will be accommodated in the Village Inn. Recently, the inn was also expanded to accommodate about two hundred people.

Most people in the meadows camp in the meadows, and the Beast Troops don't stay in the Inn for more than half of them because of Arklight's escort.

The Arklights are led to the castle by Theo and Serra.

When I see it, I'll be right down the Hall Hill. He was checking the status of preparations being made under the hill as he walked.

(Don't be done enough in two hours...)

If it's true, I wanted to talk to Arklight right away, but I prioritized the preparation of the banquet. The story of Luna, who arrived yesterday, has decided that the Red Arms and the people of the meadows will also be in this village for four more days, so that we can get enough time.

It was noon and the banquet began.

Not a massive feast like the Dwarf Festival or the Victory Memorial Festival, but the music played by the musicians from nearby Kilnarek and the cheerful dance of the villagers accompanied the flowers and was as lively as the Harvest and Summer Festivals.

Mercenaries and meadow folks, who were reluctant at first, are also enjoying their drinks with the Lockhart family and the people of the village of Rasmore as the liquor enters.

After about an hour, the meal became more calm and I could be seen enjoying alcohol in a thoughtful place.

We were also standing near a creek that flowed around Kanga Hill, drinking.

"That's Sir Zacharias, isn't it? I can't believe I easily prepared this many festivals. And this beer is the best I've ever had."

That's what Arklight with the jock says and laughs.

"Zach is fine, Lord Arklight. Beer this time of year is a delicious dish carefully crafted in winter, so it should be delicious elsewhere."

"Really? It's only my third year since I started drinking, so I didn't know the flavor would change over time. Oh, call me Ray about me. Mr. Zach, and I'm younger, so I don't even have to salute you."

You're the kind of person who gets cheerful when booze comes in, so Frank I don't think he's the one who gave his father a grand greeting earlier.

"Luna always said. When I got back here, he told me he was going to teach Mr. Zach some delicious alcohol. Now I know exactly what you're talking about."

That's what I was saying. I was sending my gaze to Luna, who was enjoying drinking with Beltram and the other Dwarves.

"May I call you Ray," Liddy added to the story.

He was wearing a dress when he greeted him, but he's back to his usual adventurer style.

"Yeah, I don't mind. Mr. Lydiane."

"I'm fine with Lydia, too," he says, continuing with more words.

"Drink sparkling wine as well as beer. It's better this way."

That's what I say. Remove the bottle from my own wine cooler.

"Get the glass out and pour it on him," he said to me.

Pour sparkling wine into the glass, saying yes, yes.

When I give him the glass, he waters it down to the light of day.

"That's a beautiful drink. What's so different about champagne?

"Champagne is the name of a French region by the name of Champagne. Strict laws determine how they are made and how much they are produced."

"Really?" he admires, mouthing the glass.

"This sparkling wine I made is the same as Champagne. Well, grape varieties and sweetness are subtly different..."

While explaining the champagne, I thought you were young for your innocence when you drank.

(I don't think he's the only one who fought a death battle against the godless (Vanitas)... that's not all. As the king of the people of the meadows, he is more important than the emperor of empires in this world. If you're relaxed because you're with a companion with a known heart, but beyond this, it's the Imperial Chancellor and the skilled people of the commercial guild who will deal with you. Is it okay......)

So I send my gaze to Ashley Marcut, a big female warrior standing beside him.

(We just talked about it, it was Mr. Hamish's daughter in a good or a bad way. He's an honest, backless, straight guy. But if she's going to be Ray your spouse, it's going to be tough if someone doesn't support her...)

With that in mind, I also give Ashley some sparkling wine.

"Never mind," she thanked him in a slightly stiff tone.

"This is the rumored sparkling wine of Sir Zacharias... a beautiful drink indeed"

That's what I say and mouth the glass.

"Ko, this is great! The Zach collection was great too, but this is just a piece of art"

Take a sip and make me smile naturally if the tension is relaxed.

"Oh, you know exactly what I mean," Liddy smiles.

"I envy Lord Lydiane. Because you can drink this kind of booze every day."

Beatrice interrupts there. She is also dressed from her dress and shows a glass of red wine well in her bright white blouse.

"You can't have a piece of art without a cup of Seawell wine. Zach, give me fifteen years."

"Wait. Mr. Stella wouldn't have drunk it yet."

That's what I say, then I hang out with the daughter of a silver-haired beast man smiling behind Ray.

"Can't you drink?

"Because I'm only eighteen. I hear you can't drink under twenty here."

"Really? Now, give me this," and give me the "Shirley Temple," a non-alcoholic cocktail I made for my last sister Sophia.

"There is no alcohol in it. Add the syrup of shoga and pomegranate to the carbonated water (soda) and season with lemon. You can drink this if you want."

I thought a girl by the name of Stella was similar to that in the Beast Troop, keeping alcohol out of her mouth to protect Ray.

"Thank you for your concern," he says and smiles.

To that overly natural smile, I reckon you weren't part of the Beast Slave Squad.

"If alcohol is good, I'll serve it. It's the Lockhart family's policy not to let them drink until they're twenty, and they're not willing to impose it on their guests."

"If Stella let me drink this too," Ray suggests sparkling wine.

"Okay, I'll ask you too," he said, smiling like a solder.

Mouth on the sparkling wine opened his eyes slightly.

"You're right about Master Ray and Master Ashley. It's really delicious."

Beatrice came in there with her first glass of wine.

"Then we'll have seawell wine next. Lydia's recommended sparkling wine is delicious, but this is the only precious thing you can drink here."

"While Master Zach prepares the wine, we will prepare a knob."

That's what Mel, dressed in a blue piece, says and lines up the cheese on the table.

"It's a reputable blue cheese from the Black Pond Pavilion recently."

That explains Sharon in a white piece.

We've both settled down a lot lately and the word "new wife" feels right on us. By the way, Liddy and Beatrice haven't changed much from the old days.

"With that said, you're all Mr. Zach's wife, aren't you," Ray said. On the side he looked at what Ashley was going to say and poked him with his elbow.

"Oh, it doesn't mean anything particularly deep... I just thought it was awesome..."

"I don't mind. That's what they've been saying for fifteen years."

When I say that, Liddy rides badly,

"That's right. In Doctus, they used to call him the all-round Prince Harlem.

When we talk about that, Beatrice is in a hurry to say, "The wine will warm up." I think I want you to drink your favorite wine soon.

"How do I drink it? You spin a glass of fine wine, and then you drink it, right?

Ray asks me like I'm afraid.

"The White Master seems weak about booze, too," he teased.

"It's more fragrant to spin, but it's oxidative and acidic and bitter. So basically, without turning the glass, you should enjoy the fragrance first and tease it."

When I mouth the glass so that I can show you a sample, the Rays mouth the same way.

"Wow!" said Ray, raising his voice, and Ashley, "I don't know how much..."

Stella is equally surprised, but she looked like she was enjoying the two reactions.

"What do you say? That's amazing," Beatrice said proudly.

"You didn't make it, did you," Liddy says.

"I found this grape. Right, Zach?"

"Oh. It was Beatrice who made this wine. I couldn't find him."

"It was fun, wasn't it? What toured the village in Seawell? It was about ten years ago."

Tilting the glass as Mel says she looks nostalgic.

"You want to go again. Looks like we're having a wine festival, and it's going to be fun."

Sharon also rarely enjoyed wine.

The Rays are enjoying our conversation.

"You really like alcohol, guys"

"Right. These are good times, too."

I was enjoying the booze like that.
