The following morning at XX Entertainment

Lila leaned her back against the wall and slumped down on the ground in defeat. She knew this was a bad idea. What made her think that she could go into work so easily after what happened? When she thought of last night, she wanted to hide. Maybe it was a false moment of bravery after all. In the end she left without him since she didn't know what type of face to make in front of him.

Haruka treated her so preciously despite his d.e.s.i.r.es. That was the first time she saw him look at her like that. She wondered exactly how long he held back those feelings. Is it truy okay for her to stay with this person? Indeed it seems like she can no longer live without him but she wondered if it was okay.

He still doesn't know about that. Haruka still does not know how involved she is in the hanyou society. If he knew that she controlled a large portion of the society in the shadows, would that look badly on her? It was too difficult for her to tell. Right now there are so many things happening at once.

But she can no longer run away, she needs to see things through with her own eyes. Her thoughts broke off when she spotted a man with dark coloured hair leaning against the pillar.

"Ameno-senpai."

Ameno chuckled. "Hello there little Lila."

"Why are you--" Lila knew it was stupid question to ask. She ought to go back. She realized it a long time ago, the only way to solve the problems in Star Town is to return. Arata wanted to say the same thing too but he refrained himself from doing so.

He walked over and patted her head. "Did you have fun here?"

"Yes."

"That's good, I am glad that you could make memories."

"I will go back. I have to right? But--" Lila recalled the messages on her husbands phone. Since she woke up earlier than him she saw it. "There is still something he has to do here, so I dont think he will leave."

"I see." Ameno trailed off. "You know at first, I did not like Karashima but I didn't like Kiryu either. I thought it was a waste for you to be with those two."

Lila laughed awkwardly. "Uh-huh, right."

"But as time went by something changed." Ameno pulled out a sheet of paper and passed it to her. Her eyes widened when she saw the words on the sheet. She clenched her fist when she saw it.

That's right, it's because they've all been standing together. That they came this far. "It's wrong for you to sacrifice yourself for us. I can't accept it."

"So if I change my mind, you would be fine with that? Will you give up your stage? If your feelings are that fickle, then you shouldn't perform. You wouldn't be able to put on a decent performance, anyway. I'd feel bad for the audience watching you."

"You know my feelings aren't that fickle! I --" Her sentence fell short when she saw the tender smile on his face.

"Remember, what you're aiming for. Your dream. Is it to stand in my shadow forever? In your absence, I led those people because the others were breaking down without you. In the end not even I could take it anymore and went to you. When I did, i understood right away. Lila looked down at the ground. Her frustration seemed to increase every minute. She wanted nothing more than to yell at him. "It was your fault, you left everything to me and now you're running away. The mission about Haruka, if you told me the details from the beginning…"

Ameno chuckled. "Now, now Lila-chan. It seems like you have underestimated me. It is possible for me to leave and for me to get others out."

"So the reason Rikka-san is here is because of you!" Lila half yelled.

"Bingo!"

Her gaze dimmed. "I thought it was weird. How could you? Since she came here I had to battle with my ugly feelings of jealousy."

"Jealousy makes us human, were you not the one who said that?"

At that comment she understood. Her eyes twitched annoyed. "Are you telling me you did this because you wanted to experiment."

"Oh you're getting smarter these days."

Lila extended her hand out to punch him but Ameno grabbed hold of her hand. "Little Lila, you understand right?"

"She is one of Harukas regrets."

"Yes, that's right." Ameno nodded. "This was a cruel way to prove it. But I wanted him to get stronger for your sake. The only way to get stronger is to face all the trials and pain from the past. That person regretted entering a relationship with that woman. He regretted almost falling in love with her. Haruka if possible would go back and erase it all, so he could be completely devoted to you like Kiryu."

"Even if he was, that would not make me happy. Despite what I say, I think the way things ended up was fine. Since it makes him human." Lila muttered. The way things ended up is okay, like this she can finally understand humans better.

The small girl who did not know anything finally experienced how to live as a regular girl. With these feelings, she can now head onto the next chapter with a new and firm resolve. But there is still something lingering in her heart.

Just the thought of Kiryu now made her cry. She has so many regrets and so many things she wanted to talk to him about. Lila wanted to tell him everything, the feelings she held back since he chose to let go of her hand.

"Will you abandon Haruka?" Ameno asked.

Lila shook her head. "I cant do that no matter what happens. But, I still have words that I need to say to Kiryu."
