Duchess Mira

Three days have passed and Mira is sleeping in Duke Elias room. She needs to stay in the Duke Elias room because apparently she is sick. So it is best for her not show herself after the trip.

Elira came in and closed the door. "My Lady..."

'What is it now?' Mira who just lied down sat up.

"A-another letter from the place arrived." Mira's calm expression turned into anger. Her anger grew remembering her last visit to the palace. Elira gave her the letter and when she opened it her hands started to tremble. Her breathing became unstable.

Her eyes widened in shock. She immediately stood up her knees were shaking putting her hands on her bedside table.

"My lady?" Elira asked never seeing her lady so shaken before.

Then she slammed her bedside table which made Elira jumped in surprise.

"That old geezer..." Mira said trying to control her anger. Elira looked at her lady feeling concerned she approached her slowly as if she was a dangerous animal.

Then Mira started to rip the paper in pieces.

"M-my lady-"

"Hurry call that maid we will be going to the palace!" Mira said to Elira her eyes burning with fire.

"My lady, what was in the letter?"

"Full of gibberish that's whats in the letter... Hurry go, Elira..." Mira said to Elira coldly.

She looked at Elira daring her to question even further. Elira gulped hands started to shake and she just nodded and left without a word.

'What a cowardly move, your majesty...'

Duke Elias got off the carriage and the palace was in full panic for his sudden visit. Most servants who saw his calm face were shocked by his anger. He marched inside the castle when he was in front of the kings chamber. He shouted "Please retract your Order, your majesty!!!" Elias voice boomed through the halls.

No response.

Duke Elias shouted once more but louder. "Please retract your order, your majesty!!!" Duke Elias anger grew by the silence after.

"PLEASE RETRACT YOUR ORDER, YOUR MAJESTY!!!"

Then suddenly he heard a laugh.

Suddenly the doors inside the king's chambers opened. Duke Elias saw the old geezer who is half n.a.k.e.d once more. "You dare have an audience with the king without a notice first?"

Mira suppressed her anger and took a deep breath.

Duke Elias said "Your majesty, your order about my sister is-"

"Don't tell me you are close to your sister. I know you are not because I would know because I was quite close to your father. So why are you so worried Duke Elias? Don't tell me you are in love with your half-sister?"

The king laughed at Elias shaking with anger.

"We will discuss the matters officially tomorrow and invite your sister so she could officially meet the groom. Now if you dare disturb my sleep once more. I won't be merciful as tonight, you are dismissed Duke Elias..."

As the king said that he smirked as he saw Duke Elias shaking with anger.

In the halls, Mira was shaking with anger. When She came inside Duke Elias room she threw a vase.

"That no good old man! " She said as she threw her chair.

"Trying to destroy my plans?!?" She screamed again as she threw a pillow. She looked at herself in her window and chuckled.

"Well, let's play Your majesty... "
